"Finally left!"

Wu Mengda, hearing the sound of Ah Fei leaving, couldn't help but let out a long breath. His whole body felt as if it had lost all its strength, and he slumped onto the sofa.

"Mr. Wu Mengda, hello. Please rest assured, you will be very safe here!"

Wang Zhong, seeing Wu Mengda's expression of having narrowly escaped a disaster, greeted him with a smile.

"Do you know me?"

Wu Mengda asked, somewhat surprised.

"Wu Mengda, in 1973, you enrolled in the third phase of the Hong Kong TVB Actor Training Program, with classmates including Chow Yun-fat and Ringo Lam. Your grades were consistently among the top five!"

Wang Zhong said loudly. There was a hint of pride, a touch of bewilderment, and a trace of nostalgia in Wu Mengda's eyes. This was his most glorious time, and it was the easily attainable glory that led him to his downfall.

Wu Mengda, who became famous too early, quickly got lost in fame and fortune. "Every day, I drank, played cards, and dated women, with no heart for work, just hoping to finish early." Even his junior, Johnnie To, thought he was a piece of mud that couldn't be propped up!

In 1973, he made a cameo in Li Hanxiang's "The Blood of the Imperial Platform."

In 1975, he began participating in performances at TVB, appearing in countless roles, but almost all were supporting characters. His earliest performance was in the "Folk Legends" series; it wasn't until 1979, when he played "Hu Tiehua" in "The Legend of Chu Liuxiang," that he began to receive attention.

In 1980, he owed 300,000 Hong Kong dollars in gambling debts and faced no acting opportunities, even contemplating suicide.

In 1981, he officially starred in the film "The Enforcer." Wu Mengda's performances were rich and colorful, vividly portraying small characters, making him one of the most outstanding grassroots actors in Hong Kong.

"You know my background quite well. Are you a fan of mine?"

Wu Mengda looked at Wang Zhong, somewhat surprised. He had acted in many movies and TV shows, but mostly in supporting roles. He didn't expect to have a loyal fan here, which secretly delighted him.

"Not really, at least not now!"

Wang Zhong's words were skillful. In his previous life, he was a loyal fan of Wu Mengda, and every movie he made with Stephen Chow was worth looking forward to.

How could Wu Mengda understand his thoughts?

"Then how do you know so much about my background?"

Wu Mengda asked, somewhat incredulous.

"Are you a talent scout?"

"Because I am a practitioner of destiny!"

Wang Zhong shook his head and said with a smile.

Wu Mengda then noticed that Wang Zhong's office was very different from traditional offices.

Although Wu Mengda couldn't understand it, he could feel that the entire office had a very comfortable atmosphere!

"The feng shui here was very poor. Many people did business here and ended up fleeing. The first thing I did after coming here was to handle the feng shui!"

Wang Zhong, seeing that Wu Mengda had noticed the room's layout, explained with a smile.

"I placed two elephants at the entrance, with their backs facing out and heads facing in. Elephants represent the乾卦 (Qian Hexagram), which is metal, bringing in wealth as soon as you enter."

"I don't think you're very skilled. Elephants attract wealth with their trunks facing out, not in!"

Wu Mengda, who had been through many hardships in recent years, had become somewhat sharp-tongued.

"I didn't expect Mr. Wu to know about feng shui!"

Wang Zhong, not getting angry, said with some surprise.

"Just a little, just a little!"

Wu Mengda was modest in his words, but a hint of pride flashed in his eyes.

"Elephants originated in India and are symbols of wealth, health, and longevity. They later spread to China and gradually evolved into feng shui objects. There are generally three types of feng shui elephants: trunks pointing to the sky, attracting heavenly wealth, suitable for aviation and atmospheric departments; trunks pointing to the ground, attracting earthly wealth, suitable for real estate and mining; trunks in the air, attracting human wealth, suitable for insurance and sales. These elephants are usually placed with their heads facing out, on both sides. However, my two elephants are not for attracting wealth but for spraying it. After elephants drink water, they like to spray it out to cool down and clean themselves. I placed two large fish tanks in front of the elephants' trunks, forming a setup where the elephants bring in wealth and the fish tanks gather it."

Wang Zhong pointed to the elephants and fish tanks and said with a smile.

"Whenever someone comes in, they see the Great Emperor Zhenwu. However, recently, they need to walk directly over, following the principle of 'forward movement brings life, reverse movement brings death' in the Eight Trigrams. First, you should ask me for help, then go to the Great Emperor Zhenwu to burn incense and pray for further enlightenment! In the northeast corner, I placed a pot of 'Hongyun Dangtou' (Red Fortune Flower), which must have three plants in one pot, with a black pot. When placing it, I put two one-yuan coins under the pot. Why? The two coins represent the Dui Hexagram, which is also the Qian Hexagram, both metal. The Dui Hexagram and the northeast corner's Gen Palace form the 'Mountain and Marsh Qi' pattern. The Dui metal (two one-yuan coins) generates the Kan water (black pot), which generates the Xun wood (green stem of the Red Fortune Flower), which generates fire (red flower of the Red Fortune Flower), which generates earth (Gen Palace is earth). This way, a local circulation of the five elements is formed in this small northeast corner!"

"You have a very strange layout. I've met many feng shui masters, but none have set up their offices like this!"

Wu Mengda said, somewhat surprised.

Wang Zhong pointed to the layout with some pride.

"In this era, only I have mastered this technique!"

Although Wang Zhong's words were arrogant, they weren't entirely false. His layout technique used the "Eight Trigrams Symbolic Mathematics System" based on the "I Ching"!

The "I Ching" consists of symbols, numbers, and principles. Symbols and numbers are generally used for prediction, known as the "Jianghu School," which has been rejected by orthodox scholars. Symbolic mathematics has been arbitrarily considered "mathematical techniques"! The modern development of symbolic mathematics began with several papers by Professor Zhang Yansheng in 1988.

In 1988, Professor Zhang Yansheng published several influential papers at international and domestic academic conferences, including "The Symbolic and Numerical Theory of Yi Xue is the Basis of Hexagrams and Trigrams," "The Application of Symbolic and Numerical Theory of Yi Xue in Clinical Medicine," "Methods and Approaches to Studying Yi Xue," "A Glimpse into the Symbolic and Numerical Theory of Yi Xue from the 'Disease' and 'Illness' Trigrams of the Zhou Yi," "Yi Xue and Shu Shu Xue Promote the Development of Chinese Mathematics," "The Importance of the Development of Geometric Hexagrams from Numerical Symbols," "The Importance of the Study and Development of Yi Li and Traditional Classification," "On the Sequence of Hexagrams—A Discussion of the Zhou Yi Hexagram Sequence and Its Ideas," "Some Understanding of the Changes in the Three and Five," and "Some Understanding of the Errors in the Sequence of Hexagrams." These papers, which revealed the essence of Yi Li Xue (not just Yi Li Xue), Symbolic Mathematics, and Yi Medicine, combined with natural sciences and had a profound impact. Due to their "uncovering what the ancients did not reveal and expressing what the moderns have not fully expressed," they received high praise from peers.

These dozens of papers were the beginning of modern symbolic mathematics!

In 1982 Hong Kong, no one understood this layout method!

"Hanging a 'Sunrise on Mount Tai' painting in the southeast. This painting features Mount Tai, clear water, green trees, and the sun, representing water generating wood (the southeast is the Zhen Hexagram, which is wood). The green trees harmonize with the Zhen Hexagram, supporting the wood's momentum. As for Mount Tai, it is the earth of the Gen Hexagram, which is the wealth star of the Zhen wood. The sun, rising in the east, has a good symbolic meaning. This painting also implies a new dawn and a resurgence.

(Important: The text on the 'Sunrise on Mount Tai' painting should not include the phrase 'Supreme of the Five Mountains' because the complex character for 'mountain' has a 'prison' below it, which is inauspicious.)

In the southeast corner, there is a tall golden-edged Rui Jin Xiang plant to boost wealth, and a high-end air conditioner to attract good fortune!"

Wang Zhong explained the feng shui layout of the office to Wu Mengda.

Wu Mengda listened intently. Although he didn't understand feng shui, as an actor, he was skilled at observing and understanding people. From Wang Zhong's expression and demeanor, he could tell that these techniques were genuine.

"What is the principle behind your layout?"

Wu Mengda asked, somewhat curious.

"Laozi's 'Tao Te Ching' says: 'The Great Ultimate is boundless, the Small Ultimate is without inner limits. The universe is a great Taiji, and a room is a small Taiji. The universe has four cardinal directions and four corners, and a room also has four cardinal directions and four corners!'"

Wang Zhong said with a smile.

"You have condensed the Eight Trigrams into a room!"

Wu Mengda asked, somewhat surprised.

Wang Zhong neither confirmed nor denied it, but his silence spoke volumes.

"Mr. Wu, do you know about traditional Chinese acupuncture?"

Wang Zhong didn't answer Wu Mengda's question but instead asked an apparently unrelated one.

"Acupuncture is a unique Chinese method of treating diseases. It is a technique of 'internal disease, external treatment.' It works through the meridians and acupoints, and certain operational methods to treat diseases throughout the body!"

Wang Zhong said with a smile before Wu Mengda could answer.

"My feng shui is like acupuncture, treating internal problems externally! The orthodox feng shui community may have doubts, but I don't look at advertisements; I look at results!"

Wang Zhong said seriously, exuding an indescribable aura, a sense of authority without anger. Wu Mengda, recalling the past, had only seen such an aura in Uncle Six.

Wu Mengda instinctively felt that the feng shui master in front of him was no ordinary person. Combined with Ah Fei's reluctance to cause trouble here, Wu Mengda's heart stirred. Perhaps this was his chance to turn things around!

Thinking of this, his body involuntarily became more restrained!
