Yang Luo looked at him and said, "You're working under my old man?"
Feng Kun nodded, "Ever since you joined the army, our group of brothers scattered. Some joined the army like you, some went to university, and some went into business. I was able to work under your father thanks to the things you taught me when we were kids. It was your father who personally came to my dad and took me in."
He smiled, "Young Master Yang! You wouldn't know, but after you left, Zhang Zheng threw several banquets to celebrate."
Yang Luo took a drag on his cigarette and chuckled, "Damn! Relying on his old man being the vice-chairman, he had the nerve to cause me trouble."
"Ha ha... Those years, you beat him up every time you saw him. Later, this kid would run away whenever he saw you," Feng Kun laughed, reminiscing about the old days.
Yang Luo stood up and said, "How many years has it been since we last saw each other?"
Feng Kun thought for a moment, "You left to join the army when you were seventeen, so it's been about six years, I think."
Yang Luo walked to the window, his gaze distant, "It's been seven years. Shi Qi has been gone for three years. Time really flies."
Feng Kun walked over to him and patted his shoulder, "So much time has passed, you should pull yourself together. If Sister Shi Qi could see you now, she would be heartbroken. I don't think she would want you to be so depressed."
Yang Luo suddenly smiled, "Who says I'm depressed? Over the years, I've traveled the world, dated beautiful women, and became a professional thug."
"You?" Feng Kun smirked, "Forget it. When you see a beautiful woman, you act like a thug, but when it comes to the real deal, you run faster than anyone. You told us you started peeping on women when you were thirteen. I doubt you're not just bragging."
Yang Luo said, "I absolutely saw it, I can swear on it."
Feng Kun waved his hand, "Your swearing is like drinking cold water; our ears are calloused from hearing it."
Yang Luo rubbed his nose and turned toward the door, "We haven't seen each other in years, let's go out for a drink."
"Sure! We won't go home until we're drunk," Feng Kun said.
By then, it was already dark outside. The entire city of Shanghai was bathed in the colors of neon lights, and the streets were even more crowded than during the day. Feng Kun pointed to a Land Rover, "How about this car, brother?"
Yang Luo glanced at it, "It'll do."
"I knew you'd say that," Feng Kun said, opening the car door and getting in, "I know a bar with a great atmosphere, and there are a lot of beautiful women there at night."
Yang Luo's eyes lit up, "That sounds good, I'm always interested in beautiful women."
Feng Kun looked at him, "I hope you can lose your virginity today, not just talk about it."
Sige Bar wasn't very famous, but the environment was definitely elegant. Most of the people who came here were white-collar workers who came to unwind after the stress of their day jobs. Some were there to hunt for a one-night stand.
As soon as Yang Luo and Feng Kun walked into the bar, they felt the difference. The soft lighting and elegant piano music made them feel relaxed. It was indeed a great place to relieve stress.
The two of them went straight to the bar and sat on the high stools. Feng Kun said, "Two vodkas, no mixers."
The bartender was a girl in her early twenties, not particularly beautiful but with a fresh and clean look, "I know Feng's rules." Clearly, he was a regular here.
