"Here!"

"Yes!"

"Don't look around, don't get close to the cars by the roadside, try to walk in areas with more people and go to the police station to wait for me. I'll be there soon."

After hearing Yang Luo's words, Bei Yinyao's nervousness eased a bit. She followed his advice and tried to walk in areas with more people.

Not far behind Bei Yinyao, two young men in their twenties were following her. Both had short haircuts, and one of them had a scar on his face that ran from his right eye to the corner of his mouth, making him look fierce and terrifying.

A white minivan was slowly following these two men on the roadside. "Damn! Does this girl know we're following her? Why did she suddenly go into the police station?"

The scar-faced man said coldly, "Impossible."

"Still, it's strange."

The scar-faced man thought for a moment, "Biao hasn't reported back for so long, he might have failed. We'll act when this woman comes out; we can't wait any longer."

"Biao would fail?"

"Anything is possible. From my observation, that young cop isn't simple." The two men walked to the roadside outside the police station, and the minivan parked a few meters away.

Bei Yinyao walked into the police station and found the household registration office. "Comrade! I lost my ID card, can I get a replacement?"

The officer in charge was a woman in her thirties. "Sure! Have you reported it lost?"

Bei Yinyao shook her head. "No!"

"Oh! Then you need to report it lost first." She handed Bei Yinyao a form. "Fill it out according to the instructions."

"Okay!" Bei Yinyao filled out the form slowly, stalling for time.

Just then, Yang Luo's voice echoed in the corridor outside. "Bei Yinyao!"

Bei Yinyao quickly stood up and said, "Comrade, I'm sorry! I just remembered, my ID card might be in the drawer of the bedside table at home."

The female officer smiled. "No problem."

Bei Yinyao gave a polite smile and walked out, seeing Yang Luo standing at the door. She walked over in her high heels, took his arm, and said, "Yang Luo! I really noticed someone following me, what's going on?"

Yang Luo smiled, "They're outside, just some small fries. Don't worry, let's go back to your company first."

Bei Yinyao nodded, feeling a sense of security from Yang Luo's strong presence, something she had never felt before. She tightly held onto Yang Luo and walked out of the station.

Outside, seeing the two men standing by the roadside, Yang Luo's lips curled into a bloodthirsty smile. He leaned close to Bei Yinyao's ear and whispered, "Get in the car and lock the door, don't come out." Bei Yinyao didn't know what Yang Luo was going to do, but she nodded and got into the car.

The two men, seeing Yang Luo appear, knew their Biao had failed. However, they didn't think much of it, assuming Yang Luo had escaped using his car's superior performance. They didn't leave because they didn't take Yang Luo seriously and were waiting for an opportunity to eliminate him, so they wouldn't have to kidnap the woman.

When they saw Yang Luo walking over, they were startled and quickly signaled to the white minivan behind them. The car door opened, and five men with machetes got out.

At this moment, people shopping on the street had noticed what was happening and gathered around, the crowd growing larger.

"Damn! This is too outrageous, they're wielding knives right in front of the police station," a young man whispered.
