Yang Luo chuckled and said, "You are as vigorous as ever, how could you be old?"
Qian Guorui waved his hand, "I'm old! I can't compare to you young people anymore." After saying this, he sighed and walked out.
Yang Luo turned to look at Tongtong, "You should go back too."
"I'm not going back," she then hopped onto a nearby bed and lay down, "I'll sleep here tonight."
"Do as you please, but you need to call your aunt."
"I won't call her." After saying this, she pulled the blanket over her head, leaving only one eye peeking out to watch Yang Luo. She even ignored Ouyang Hao when he spoke to her.
Yang Luo shook his head helplessly, sat in front of the Holter monitor, and carefully examined it, staying there for several hours. Tongtong couldn't help but sit up and ask curiously, "Have you been sitting there for three hours, seventeen minutes, and two seconds, and you're not tired?"
Yang Luo stretched, stood up, and moved his body, "I'm tired." After saying this, he lay down on another bed and fell asleep.
Not long after, even Ouyang Hao was silent. Tongtong jumped off the bed, looked at Ouyang Hao, then walked to Yang Luo's bed and looked down at him. Her eyes sparkled with an indescribable light, and her face was flushed. After a while, she puffed out her cheeks, bent down, and blew a few breaths on Yang Luo's face.
Yang Luo suddenly opened his eyes, and Tongtong, like a frightened little rabbit, quickly hopped back to her own bed and covered her head with the blanket. Yang Luo chuckled, turned over, and continued sleeping.
Tongtong touched her face under the blanket, feeling it was very hot, her heart pounding as if it would jump out of her chest.
An hour later, Yang Luo got up and observed the ECG. As he looked, his brows furrowed. He had already determined that Ouyang Hao's condition was due to autonomic nervous system disorder, but it was more severe than he had imagined. Although this disease rarely caused death, an episode could be very dangerous.
Thinking about this, Yang Luo found a piece of paper and a pen, drew the waveform on the paper, then looked at it again and went back to bed to continue sleeping. Every hour, Yang Luo would check and draw the waveform.
The next morning at around six, Ouyang Hao woke up and saw Tongtong sitting on the bed in a daze. He asked, "Tongtong! What are you thinking about?"
Tongtong snapped back to reality and said, "Nothing." After saying this, she stared at Yang Luo, who was still sound asleep.
At 7:30, Yang Luo suddenly sat up, walked to the ECG, observed it, and continued drawing the waveform.
Tongtong looked at her watch and muttered, "How can he be so punctual? Every time he wakes up, it's exactly one hour, not off by more than five seconds."
After finishing, Yang Luo went out to wash his face, then came back and sat in front of the ECG, carefully observing it.
The time was 10:15 when the door to the ward was pushed open. More than ten people in white coats walked in. The youngest of them was in their forties. Seeing Yang Luo, a middle-aged man smiled and said, "You must be Doctor Yang. Dean Qian often speaks highly of you, it's a pleasure to meet you."
"Yes! Doctor Yang is so young, truly a rising star." Although the words were polite, anyone could hear the disdain and jealousy in his tone.
Yang Luo, of course, wouldn't argue with these boring people and just nodded politely.
Tongtong pouted and said, "How hypocritical."
"Hey! Doctor Yang, you sure have a big ego. So many of us came to see you, and you don't even say a word. Looks like you don't think much of us," the middle-aged man said.
