After changing locations, about two hours later. Using Rindbloom as a model, Sera was carving a splendid behemoth figure.

Standing on its hindlegs, the forelegs were raised overhead. In a pose as though threatening an enemy, it gave the sense that it could move at any moment, capable of moving any that saw it.

Horun gave Sera high praises, while Rindbloom gave a pleased rumbling growl.

Pleased with their reaction, Sera proudly moved on to the coloring.

With the same or even more precise work, one hour later, the figure was placed in a nice, sunny area.

「Right, now the paint just needs to dry, and it’ll be complete. It turned out quite well, if I say so myself.」

Sera smiled, but not fully.

Sera began to tidy up her work tools, which Horun also helped with.

Checking that reaction, Sera completely understood. This person was Horun’s sweetheart, Iris.

「Welcome, Iris-sama. Apologies for the inconvenience, but the house owner, Lily, is currently out at the moment. As such, if you’d be fine with myself, Serafinite, I can hear your business.」

「Sorry this isn’t as formalistic. Also, you don’t need to apologize, since it is my fault for coming by. Also, you seem to know my name… did you hear about me from Lily-senpai?」

「Yes, your name. I heard about your appearance from Horun, here.」

Saying so, Sera motioned at Horun.

Iris faced her.

「…I, I am called Horun.」

Being stiffly nervous, it took all of her might just to introduce herself.

Seeing such a Horun, Iris smiled and replied.

「You don’t have to be so nervous. However, I seem to remember you working at the royal castle… what? Did you have a career change?」

Perhaps out of consideration for Horun, Iris tried to ease her nerves. However, that gave birth to another unanticipated effect.

「Is that so. Also, please address me as Sera or Serafi, please. Serafinite isn’t cute after all.」

「Then, Serafi, I shall take up your offer.」

Sera accompanied Iris into the house. There, she realized that Horun had frozen up, flusteredly returning and grabbing ahold of her tail.

「Horun-san! How long are you going to be spaced out? Please prepare some tea for Iris-sama.」

「Nya!? D-don’t touch the tail!? Nyaa!」

「Come, quickly!」

「I got it! I got it, so!」

Seeing the two of them frolic around, Iris laughed with narrowed eyes.
