The span of 10 years for a witch is a short period of time, but for a regular person, it’s quite the long time. If she were to continue coming to the town long-term, her acquaintances would increase, and it wouldn’t be odd for there to be people that’d think of Lily as their own daughter or granddaughter.

And those that thought of Lily as their own daughter, they were worried.

Whenever they saw Lily, she was always alone. They had seen her have conversations with others, but there was no sign of a love figure.

Even when invited for a meal, she would always politely decline, or when invited to go shopping, she would avoid contact, by saying that she had other business.

It was almost as if she were completely warding off any intimate relations with people.

That Lily was walking snuggled up close with someone else. Furthermore, with a never before seen shining smile.

The townspeople understood.

‘Ah, so she’s finally found a partner that she can walk around together with.’

Regardless of the fact that they were both women, no matter how they locked at it, the two had the distance of lovers.

But the townspeople welcomed it.

If Lily was happy, then it didn’t matter.

Feelings of gentle affection to Lily and gratitude to Lapis overflowed from the town.

「Somehow, recently, I can feel the townspeople’s gazes more.」

「Me too… especially warm looks」

「It’s not a bad feeling, though, right?」

「Yeah, no doubt on that. But still… it feels awkward」

Even while feeling restless, their hands didn’t separate. Walking like this, they arrived at their destination.

It was the only shop in town for that matter.

—A bridal shop.

「How are we for time?」

「Right, shall we enter?」

While still holding hands and matching each other’s pace, they entered the shop.

Inside, there was only one counter, so they headed there.

「Good afternoon, we have reserved under Obsidian.」

「Yes, we have been waiting for you. The one in charge will guide you, so please wait a moment.」

Bowing their heads lightly, they were prompted to sit on a nearby sofa.

They were told that they would have drinks prepared for them, so Lapis asked for iced tea, while Lily asked iced coffee.

「Lily, you can drink coffee, what an adult.」

「Lapis is bad with it?」

「…I can drink it if it’s Café au Lait」

While Lily was spellbound by how extremely lovely her fiancé is, their drinks were brought over.

After drinking it and waiting for a brief moment.

With the preparations seemingly done, the clerk returned. Saying that there would be a briefing in another room, they followed behind.

When they entered the room, there were five staff waiting in a line. The middle most woman took a step forward. She seemed to be around forty years old, perhaps.

「We welcome you, Lily-sama, Lapis-sama. We thank you for choosing our shop today. I work as the one in charge, Lecia Astanote. We look forward to working with you.」

「Fufu, we leave it to you.」

「W-we’ll be counting on you.」

Corresponding to their perfect reception, Lily held composure, while Lapis responded without composure.

The differences in their personalities were coming out.

Hearing their replies, Lecia nodded, seeming satisfied. And with that, the stiff atmosphere made a complete shift.

「Then, let’s leave the stiff atmosphere here. Congrats, Lily-chan! Finally getting married! Though, hearing that your partner was a girl was a bit surprising.」

Seeing Lecia start talking quickly, on and on, Lapis was taken aback. But, Lily wasn’t perturbed.

「Fufu, thanks, Lecia-chan. Hearing you give your blessing without any prejudices makes me really happy.」

「I was astonished, but it wasn’t to the point that it was unexpected! There are several people even in my own surroundings」

「Really? Incidentally, they are?」

「They all safely reached marriage. At this store.」

Lecia spoke proudly. And thought how Lapis is cute.

「Let’s leave the small talk at that, shall we work out the details of the ceremony? If you have any hopes, we will do the best we can to answer them.」

「Right… firstly, fall would be good.」

「Understood. Let’s go for within the 9th month.」

「A-also, I’d like to have it on an elevated hilltop.」

「Ok! There’s just the perfect place.」

「Next, I’d like for there to be no men in the staff. My girlfriend is not comfortable with them.」

「Having men at a marriage between two women would be tactless after all. Got it.」

「Last is about the dresses, but I’d like for them to match with our hair colors.」

「Rather, I was going to suggest that! A pretty gold and bluish-silver, right.」

The conversation continued smoothly, with various things being decided upon. Although Lapis was the concerned party, she was absentminded as though dreaming.

「Now then, it’s like this then. Lastly, I’d like take measurements, so please take off your clothes.」

「Got it.」

「…yes」

Lily did so unreservedly, while Lapis embarrassedly striped her clothes. Here as well, the differences in character showed through.

To Lily and Lapis, now in their underwear, the remaining four staff split up, two for each of them.

With the standard ‘what pretty skin’ and ‘what a slim waist’ passing, the measurement taking ended.

As expected, Lily was unfazed, while Lapis’s face had turned a deep red.

While they were putting their clothes back on, Lily asked in a whispered voice.

「Lapis, your face is flushed. As a princess, didn’t you have attendants to help you with changing clothes and such?」

Lapis also, while changing, answered.

「…It seems to normally be that way, but not for me. It’s embarrassing」

「What about clothes that you can’t put on by yourself?」

「I rarely wore those, but… those times, I had Horun to help me. Other maids refused to.」

Basically, Lapis wasn’t used to showing her skin to other people. Despite being a former member of the royal family.

For her, having her bare skin being seen while not being embarrassing was limited to only a few people.

Only Lily, Sera, and Horun.

Having their clothes back on, Lecia raised her head after having been writing something out.

「Lily-chan, Lapis-chan, good work. The wedding dresses should take a little less than two months to make. That and the money… are you really sure that you’re all good?」

「Yeah, no matter the price, make it pretty, okay?」

「…If you say so, got it! You can go home for today. Next is… can you come on the 18th day of the 8th month?」

「Got it, thanks.」

「Thank you very much.」

Politely bowing their heads, the two lovers left the bridal shop.

When Lily mentions Obsidian, that is just her last name (for those (like me) who forgot), which she used to make their reservation.

Lecia Astanote(レイシア・アスタノート) first spoke in honorific speech, but afterward, begins speaking in casual, which doesn’t translate well.
