Night.
A violent storm.
On the edge of a cliff in the wilderness.
Two small figures were trembling.
Six martial artists in tight-fitting clothes, wielding long, cold blades, had forced these two small figures to the edge of the cliff.
A bolt of lightning flashed, illuminating the faces of the two small figures—a boy and a girl, both around thirteen or fourteen years old, with clear features and wearing green robes and small hats, dressed like young servants. Their expressions were filled with fear, despair, and... anger.
"Hehe, the main target has already fallen to his death. Fifth and Sixth, take action. Kill these two brats to silence them. Tonight's plan will be a perfect success, and we can return to report." The leader of the six martial artists sneered. "This rain came at just the right time. All traces will be washed away. It seems even the heavens are on our side..."
Swish!
The blades glinted coldly.
Two of the martial artists grinned wickedly and walked toward the two children at the edge of the cliff.
Crack.
Boom!
Another bolt of lightning, thick like a dragon, suddenly split the dark sky.
What was truly astonishing was that this bolt of lightning was unusually large, like a sharp sword, instantly illuminating the world as if it were daylight. The deafening thunder seemed to want to split the dark sky, and the black heavens appeared to be torn open by the lightning, as if the entire world was trembling in the storm, eerie and terrifying.
The two martial artists who were about to attack were also startled, and their long blades paused.
What's going on?
Why are there so many lightning bolts tonight?
Even the leader of the martial artists was puzzled. He was about to say something...
At that moment, a strange voice came from the sky—
"Ah... the old fraudster dug such a deep hole, how could it be so deep?"
A heart-wrenching scream, like a cat whose tail had been stepped on, echoed from the sky.
Before anyone could react, a black shadow plummeted down and landed with a splash in a pile of wild grass about half a meter high, sending grass debris flying.
What's going on?
The faces of the martial artists changed.
The six of them immediately retreated, forming a defensive stance, and subtly surrounded the grass pile.
A few seconds later.
"Oh my, my ass is split into eight pieces... Old man, you have so many old bones, why did you dig such a deep hole in the meditation room for no reason?"
A tall black shadow shakily climbed out of the grass.
It was a robust young man.
He was bare-chested, with short black hair, wearing strange straight-legged pants made of an unusual material. He had thick eyebrows and large eyes, and he was grimacing, clearly dazed from the fall. He got up from the grass, rubbing his waist and cautiously looking around.
Strangely, since the young man appeared, the heavy rain and thunder had suddenly stopped, and the dark clouds in the sky had instantly dispersed, vanishing without a trace.
The two moons hung high, and silver moonlight shone down.
The young man instinctively looked up and saw the two moons in the sky.
In an instant, he froze.
"Damn... two moons? Am I dreaming? Could it be... the old fraudster didn't lie to me?" The young man was shocked, his mouth forming a large O, and he inhaled sharply in disbelief. "So, I accidentally fell into the hole the old fraudster dug in front of the meditation room, and then I was really teleported to another planet?"
From falling into the hole to appearing here, it took only a few seconds.
How is that possible?
He pinched his face.
Ouch, it hurts.
It's real, not a dream.
He suddenly screamed, then started slapping his own face like a madman, muttering to himself, his expression alternating between confusion, ferocity, hatred, and excitement, like a madman.
This young man was none other than Li Mu, the Earthling who had been teleported by the old fraudster.
A cold wind blew, and all was silent.
This was supposed to be a scene of slaughter, but the atmosphere was now bizarre and absurd.
The six martial artists looked at each other, unsure of what was happening.
The scene seemed to be frozen.
Suddenly, a trembling voice full of joy broke the strange atmosphere.
"Ah... Young Master, is it you? Is it really you? Young Master, you climbed up from the bottom of the cliff? That's great, you... are still alive? Sob, it's so great, Young Master, you're still alive..."
The speaker was the young male servant.
The little guy, carrying a bamboo bookshelf almost as tall as himself, full of unknown contents, suddenly rushed to Li Mu's side, looking at him with joy, extremely excited, and started crying after just a few words.
The young female servant, standing nearby, was stunned for a moment, then raised her fair, delicate face, looking at Li Mu with confusion and doubt in her big, watery eyes. "Young Master, is it really you? Didn't you fall off the cliff? Hmm? What happened to your hair? It's so short... Did you change your hairstyle at the bottom of the cliff? This outfit is so strange, where did you get it?" This little girl was a bit of a chatterbox, and her focus was completely different from the boy's.
Huh?
What's going on?
Li Mu looked down at the two children, puzzled.
Young Master?
Did they mistake me for someone else?
But, I can understand what they're saying?
"Boy, you... didn't die?" The leader of the martial artists, shocked, raised his cold, sharp blade and said with a suspicious look. "Falling from a cliff over twenty meters high, and you're still alive? You must have a lot of luck, hehe."
Li Mu then noticed the six fierce martial artists standing nearby.
He looked at the leader of the martial artists, confused.
Another mistake?
How coincidental, I can understand what he's saying too.
"Bad... Young Master... run... they're here to kill you..." The young male servant suddenly realized the danger and started shouting, pushing Li Mu to run.
Huh?
Li Mu was stunned.
He looked at the two anxious young servants, then at the six martial artists slowly approaching with their blades, and suddenly understood something.
It seems that as soon as I arrived, I got caught up in a conspiracy and a murder plot?
No way, how could I encounter such a cliché and melodramatic plot?
"Wait... wait a moment." Li Mu raised his hand.
Seeing his gesture, the martial artists' hearts skipped a beat, and they immediately stopped.
Everything that had happened was a bit strange, especially Li Mu's sudden appearance, so they had to be cautious to avoid any surprises.
Li Mu also breathed a sigh of relief.
From their reactions, Li Mu could confirm that they understood him.
It seems that the language barrier on this alien planet can be overcome.
"Right, right, just stop for a moment. Nothing can't be solved with a plate of crayfish... Uh, you've never had crayfish? Sorry, I forgot this isn't Earth, but it doesn't matter, I'm just giving an example... Don't get excited, listen to me." Li Mu was still a bit confused, his mind a mess, and he could see that the opposite side was about to go on a killing spree, making his forehead tingle.
He took a deep breath, feeling the air of this world was incredibly fresh and sweet, like warm spring water cleansing his body, giving him a sense of comfort and a feeling of floating in the air.
But that's not important. What's important is to get out of this dangerous situation.
He tried to make his smile as sincere as possible and said, "Brothers, you might not believe me, but it's true. I'm actually an alien, and you've mistaken me for someone else... I'm not the person you're looking for. I was just passing by... I was teleported here from Earth by an unscrupulous old fraudster... You might not know about Earth, and if I explain in detail, it would take three days and three nights..."
There was an awkward silence in the air.
"Young Master, did you hit your head when you fell off the cliff... What do you mean by alien? What are you talking about?" The young female servant looked at Li Mu with a 'are you crazy' expression.
Li Mu: "..."
Little sister, you really have the wrong person.
Don't say things recklessly, it could get you killed.
The leader of the martial artists was stunned for a moment, then sneered, "Young Master Li Mu, I've seen your portrait dozens of times, I won't mistake you. Even if you intellectuals are clever and cunning, using such a childish excuse to fool us is too crude. You're insulting our intelligence."
"Huh? How do you know my name..."
Li Mu was startled and asked instinctively.
But then he realized it was bad.
The person they were after was also named Li Mu.
Damn, how could there be such a coincidence in the world, not only looking the same but also having the same name?
And as soon as he said that, he knew he was in trouble.
By saying that, wasn't he admitting it?
If mud is smeared on your pants, it's mud whether it's mud or not.
Damn, what kind of situation is this?
Is this a joke?
I'm a physical穿越, a physical穿越, not a soul附身, and I still encounter this?
"Hmph, so you admit you're Li Mu?" The leader of the martial artists sneered, his eyes showing impatience. "Pretending to be crazy to buy time? Fifth and Sixth, the longer we wait, the more dangerous it gets. Take action, kill them, and report back quickly."
Two of the martial artists grinned and rushed over, moving extremely fast, and immediately attacked.
