As the thin man spoke these words, the rough and rude man and the sharp-nosed, monkey-faced man both let out a strange cry. They simultaneously rushed over to cover the thin man’s mouth and looked around nervously.

The thin man pushed away the two hands covering his mouth, took a step back, and pointed at the two of them, looking as if he had just realized something. "Oh, I get it. You want to suffocate me to death so that you two can eat the Three Teachings Child all by yourselves!"

The sharp-nosed, monkey-faced man cursed, "You’re a fool! Saying it so loudly, what if other demons hear? Then we won’t get to eat the Three Teachings Child!"

The rough and rude man slapped the thin man on the back and said, "Suffocate you to death? If you make us miss out on the Three Teachings Child, we’ll eat you!" As he spoke, he bared his fangs.

The thin man staggered from the slap, but seeing that the other two had no intention of eating him, he relaxed and scratched his head. "Why don’t you just talk nicely? Why hit me? In this ghostly place, there’s not even a bird, let alone other demons."

Before he could finish, a voice came from behind, "Who’s calling me? Oh, it’s the three of you!"

Hearing the call, the three turned around and saw a man in a bright red robe, with disheveled hair and piercing eyes, laughing as he approached them in a few steps.

The sudden appearance of the red-robed man startled the three, who huddled together, their six eyes fixed on him with caution. The thin man asked first, "What... what do you want?"

The red-robed man, full of enthusiasm, said, "Don’t misunderstand, brothers. I was just passing by and heard someone calling. I didn’t expect it to be the three of you, so I came over to say hello!"

The rough and rude man said, "We don’t know you. Go away, or I won’t be polite!" He waved his fists at the man.

The red-robed man quickly waved his hands, "Oh, brothers, don’t be nervous. I have no ill intentions. I’ve admired you for a long time. Since we’ve met by chance today, how could I not come over to say hello? We really do know each other!"

The sharp-nosed, monkey-faced man raised his hand, "Hold on!"

The red-robed man looked up, "What is it, brother?"

The sharp-nosed, monkey-faced man scratched his chin, his eyes darting around. He walked around the red-robed man and suddenly said with a smug smile, "You say you’ve admired us for a long time, but we’ve never seen you before. Clearly, you’re lying to get close to us. Hmph, do you think we’re fools? Fortunately, I saw through you. Who are you, and why are you pretending to know us? Speak up!"

Upon hearing this, the thin man and the rough and rude man also realized the truth, nodding to each other and shouting at the red-robed man, "Speak up!"

The red-robed man’s face changed, showing displeasure. "Brothers, how can you not recognize an old friend just because you’ve taken human form? Let me ask you, are you from Mount Danci?"

The thin man nodded, "Yes, so what?"

The red-robed man slapped his thigh and suddenly shouted, startling the three. "That’s it! Even though you three have taken human form, I can still recognize you. Your original form is the 'smartest in the world,' right?" Without waiting for the thin man to react, he pointed at the rough and rude man and the sharp-nosed, monkey-faced man, "Your original form is the 'best-tempered in the world,' and yours is the 'most satisfied in the world.' You three left Mount Danci, became sworn brothers, and because you all wanted to be the leader, you ended up not ranking yourselves. I haven’t said anything wrong, have I?"

The three were so shocked that their eyes nearly popped out. The thin man exclaimed, "Oh, he knows everything! He must really know us." The rough and rude man grumbled, "If you know us, why didn’t you tell us earlier? Look at this misunderstanding, we almost fought!"

The sharp-nosed, monkey-faced man nodded, "Friend, it seems you really know us. What’s your name? Are you also from Mount Danci?"

The red-robed man pointed at the thin man, "Didn’t that brother just call my name?"

The thin man was taken aback, pointing at his nose, "I, I called your name?"

The red-robed man said, "Oh, brother, how could you forget? Didn’t you just shout, 'There are other demons there,' or something like that?"

The rough and rude man said, "That wasn’t calling you."

The red-robed man pointed at his nose and laughed, "I’m called 'Qi Ta.' I was happily on my way when I heard someone call, 'There are Qi Ta demons there.' I heard someone calling me, so I came over. Imagine my surprise to find it was the three of you!"

The thin man patted his head, "Oh, so I did call you. Good thing we cleared that up. You really do know us. Let me ask you, what are you doing here? Are you also trying to cross the fence to eat the Three Teachings Child?"

The red-robed man was surprised, "Go to the human world to eat the Three Teachings Child? What does that mean?"

The sharp-nosed, monkey-faced man exclaimed, "You don’t know? Have you been away from Mount Danci for too long?" He lowered his voice and leaned in, speaking mysteriously, "This news, we wouldn’t tell just any demon. Since you know us, I’ll tell you. Recently, all the demon caves on Mount Danci have been saying that there’s a person called the Three Teachings Child in the human world. Whoever eats him will become immortal. We three heard this news, and we ate the demon who told us, so no other demons know. Then we rushed here as fast as we could, ready to cross the fence and go to the human world."

The rough and rude man added, "Although we’ve told you this secret, you can’t think of eating the Three Teachings Child first. If you do, we’ll eat you. You eat the Three Teachings Child, we eat you, and it’s as if we ate the Three Teachings Child."

The thin man sighed, "But we can’t cross the fence!" At this, the rough and rude man and the sharp-nosed, monkey-faced man both frowned and sighed.

The red-robed man nodded seriously, "I see. Rest assured, brothers, I promise I won’t compete with you for the Three Teachings Child. I just want to ask, how do you plan to eat him?"

The sharp-nosed, monkey-faced man said, "You’re a righteous and smart demon. Since my original form is the 'most satisfied in the world,' why don’t you be our little brother? That way, when we roast the Three Teachings Child, we can give you a piece."

Before the red-robed man could answer, the thin man said, "Roast it? We agreed to boil it." The rough and rude man interjected, "What? Raw is better. When we left the mountain, we met a smart kid who ate all kinds of raw meat. It must be better raw." The thin man argued, "We just lost a bet to him. I’m the smartest in the world. I say we roast it!"

The three began to argue, each insisting that their method was the best. The red-robed man stood to the side, smiled, and suddenly disappeared.

The three continued to argue, and the sharp-nosed, monkey-faced man pulled the other two, "Stop, stop, let’s let the little brother decide. Whichever method he agrees with, we’ll use. Hey, where’s the little brother? He’s gone!"

The three realized the red-robed man had disappeared. The thin man was frustrated, "He left so quickly, without even saying goodbye. He must have something important to do!"

The rough and rude man slapped him on the head and shouted, "Nonsense! He must have taken advantage of our argument to go to the human world and eat the Three Teachings Child. It’s all your fault for arguing, letting that 'Qi Ta demon' get ahead!"

The sharp-nosed, monkey-faced man, scratching his chin, thought, "No, no, you’re too stupid. That 'Qi Ta demon' is our little brother. We can’t cross the fence, so how could he? We need to figure out how to cross the fence first."

With that, the three sat down and began to think seriously. The rough and rude man’s tongue, forked, flicked in and out. The thin man’s tail, curled, swayed. The sharp-nosed, monkey-faced man’s mouth, turned into a sharp beak, pecked. It seemed they were struggling with the problem, and all three looked troubled.

In the sky, above the clouds, Yue Zhongping, holding his stomach, was laughing uncontrollably. Li Yi, standing beside him, with his usual stone-cold face, said, "Is it really that funny to play with those fools?"

Yue Zhongping, who was the red-robed man, laughed wildly, "Hahaha... really... hahaha... very... hahaha... funny, hahaha... I’m dying of laughter... hahaha."

Li Yi couldn’t help but say, "Hmph, I can’t tell who’s the fool, the ones being played or the one playing them."

Upon hearing this, Yue Zhongping suddenly stopped laughing and, with a serious face, said to Li Yi, "The one who can’t tell is the fool!" Then, he burst out laughing again.

Li Yi, rolling his eyes, threw up his hands and shouted, "Enough!" He turned and walked away.

Yue Zhongping, seeing he wasn’t going back to the Riyue Pavilion, stopped laughing and called, "Hey, where are you going?"

Li Yi, without turning back, said, "Eating the Three Teachings Child for immortality, I don’t know who started this rumor and spread it on Mount Danci, inciting a bunch of stupid demons. I don’t know what their intentions are. You’re just playing with fools, so I’ll have to go."

Yue Zhongping flew up to Li Yi and grabbed him, "You’re going to Mount Danci? I’ll go. Lu Zheng and Xin Er can’t do without you!" With that, he vanished into thin air.

Li Yi, looking at the empty space where Yue Zhongping had disappeared, said, "Breaking through the void, only you can do that! Why not use the blood escape technique, humph!" He glanced at the three demons sitting by the fence, shaking their heads and muttering, "Fools!" Then he, too, vanished into thin air.
