When I got home from work today, that rascal Wu Yunfei was already sitting on my sofa.
Maybe it was because he had sobered up and felt embarrassed for everything that happened yesterday, he seemed very obedient today. He even took the initiative to reheat the dishes in the kitchen.
(︶o︶) That guy really made me lose face yesterday, of course he should do some chores!
But, I had an instant-heat cooker in my house, why was he still taking so long in the kitchen?
I was a little curious, so I stealthily opened the kitchen door and found that guy sitting despondently on a small stool.
“What’s wrong?” I asked.
He seemed to be frightened as his body unconsciously shivered a little.
“Why do you walk around like a ghost with no noise at all.” He grumbled.
There will obviously be no noise when walking with slippers on… Did he want me to nail a metal palm under my shoes?
When that guy saw that I hadn’t uttered a word, he hesitated for a moment before suddenly asking me if I knew where he had spent the night yesterday.
( ̄_ ̄|||) Of course I knew where he had spent the night!
I didn’t know why this guy went crazy all of a sudden and adamantly refused to get in the car yesterday. In the end I still had to help him get a hotel room beside the bar.
However, I didn’t tell him these things and just shook my head, pretending not to know anything.
“Yesterday you simply said you went to the bar to play, I didn’t get to ask anything before you abruptly hung up the phone,” I said.
That guy’s expression instantly changed. It appeared as though he was very concerned about the fact that he had woken up in a hotel room out of nowhere.
I couldn’t help but laugh. I was about to tell him the truth before that guy promptly started laughing exaggeratedly. He used a frivolous tone to say: “Yesterday I meant to call you to invite you out to play, too bad a jobcon like you doesn’t have luck with women! That bar had so many pretty ladies who were totally your type.”
I was confused about why he had lied.
That bar yesterday obviously didn’t welcome female customers. From which angle had he managed to see a girl? It seemed that this guy was indeed drunk yesterday night…
Perhaps he noticed that I didn’t quite believe him, so that guy wiggled his eyebrows and continued to come up with a story, “Yesterday night, I entered a room with a super gorgeous girl and even engaged in three hundred big battles with her through the night…”
Emmmmm If I partially-believed his words in the first half of the sentence, then I could totally confirm with the latter half that this guy was just profusely bragging to me!
After opening a room yesterday night, I intended to directly leave him there alone and come home by myself, but that scoundrel suddenly threw another drunken fit and insisted on having me sleep with him.
I am hundred percent sure that I was the only person sleeping on the same bed as him yesterday night!
What three hundred big battles? What kind of joke was this!
He was so drunk that he didn’t even have the ability to stand properly, could it be that the girl sat on top of him and moved herself?
I rolled my eyes and remained quiet.
Since he was happy making up foolish stories, then I would let him be.
QAQ I worked this hard on a thankless job ! If something like this shall happen again in the future, I will surely ignore him!

Ever since that rascal Wu Yunfei lied to me yesterday, the atmosphere between us became slightly delicate.
He probablyrealised that I had seen through his lie, as he became quieter than usual. He didn’t even send me a single message the entire day.
This was supposed to be what I had always wished for, but for some unknown reason my heart felt desolated the entire time, as if something was missing.
○| ̄|_ He was clearly in the wrong in the first place, then why do I feel guilty?!
Later, I couldn’t help but send him a message to ask him what he’s doing.
That guy took very long to answer me, and merely sent a short three words.
“Not doing anything.”
Was he… trying to pick a fight with me??
I thought more about it, he probably felt a little unhappy that I didn’t fetch him from the bar that day, and he even woke up in an unfamiliar hotel.
I could generally understand his feelings, but he wasn’t even a girl, must he be so petty?
The more I thought about it, the more I felt wronged.
That guy usually teases me yet I never had any complaints about it, and now I had merely pulled a small joke on him and he declared a whole cold war against me…
Cold war then cold war! It’s not like we had never done this before, and it is always that guy who gives in first anyway!
Thinking about this, I quietly turned on the ‘Do Not Disturb’ function under his name in my contacts list and continued with my work.
I tried my very best to concentrate, but my head was constantly occupied by that sand sculpture.
For example, why did he lie to me saying that he had gone out to hunt for girls that night? Also, what did he mean when he called out for his ‘Husband’…
I couldn’t help but turn to my secretary for advice, and asked him under what circumstances would a grown man call a person as his ‘Husband’.
The secretary presumably thought that I was giving him some sort of a brain-twister question and hesitated a bit before telling me his analysis, “I think that there are three plausible situations: Firstly, that person is trying to refer himself as ‘Husband’ but accidentally mispronounced it; Secondly, that person is a fan of some male idol, since fans nowadays like to refer to their idols as ‘Husband’ or ‘Wife’; Thirdly, that guy is gay…”
I immediately eliminated the third situation.
I rather understand this guy Wu Yunfei well, he always loves to flirt with young ladies whenever he’s free, that man is without a doubt, as straight as steel.
Between the first and second scenarios, I think it is more likely the latter. Judging from that guy’s usual behaviour, I don’t think he is the type to chase wildly after idols.
I registered a side account on Weibo to check what that guy usually posts.
En… most of the content is of him eating and playing around. He would occasionally remember that he is primarily a fashion-blogger and try to come up with some fashion-related posts to hoodwink his followers.
I wanted to see if he had ever liked posts from male idols before, but ultimately I realised that other than my official Weibo account, he has only ever liked posts from girls…
Okay ba, looks like I could rule out the second case.
Other than contacting me, that guy probably asked a girl he liked out that night, but that girl probably stood him up. So I, as his childhood friend, had to go through the entire trouble of running there in the middle of the night to pick him up.
Emmmmm I’m truly a kind-hearted person ah!
