357 If You Make Me Happy

Back in the mainland, the Royal Palace was in turmoil. Since the afternoon when it was known that Hue Chi went after Yu Sha, the Royal Queen ordered people to go after Hue Chi, but his men were meticulous and swift, blocking every opportunity.

Those investigating the elevator were trying to look for clues of temperance, but all the CCTVs showed no evidence of temperance.

Though the electric mechanics were assigned to check the wiring and electricity monthly, they failed to inspect everything thoroughly. Sometimes, when one gets too comfortable with the job, one often forgets to take things seriously. Plus, there haven't been any malfunctions in decades and they let their comfort got the best of them. In the end, Kao Sheng and the investigators could not find that it was purposely set by someone who had motives.

Prince Hue Chi privately owned several properties. The Royal security tracked Hue Chi's plane that left the mainland and pinpointed a location, and with the aerial satellite, they found the Island. There was a large scale physical barrier surrounding the Island. With such a grand barrier, they knew that was the location he left to.

Bang! The King slammed his palm on the table. "Hue Chi, you're testing my patience!" Since Butler Zeu was absent, he had to find another person to crack the barrier. Butler Zeu was assigned to care for Hue Chi since young because he was well versed in barriers and his were slightly unique in that unless that barriers were undone by him, outsiders couldn't enter. The safety of the only heir was that much of importance!

As a result, Butler Zeu played a significant part in Hue Chi's life. He was with Hue Chi daily, more often than the royal couples who were busy dealing with state affairs.

It had been several hours and none had been able to suggest a method that could crack the barrier if they were to chase after. The King thought of ordering an airlift to the marine base and take the submarine to the island. If they were on sea, it would be easier to communicate on shore versus being in the air. The barrier was strongest above land and in the air.

But again, as a man, even though he was extremely displeased with his son's behavior to dispatch the military just for the sake of getting his son back from a single unknown woman, wouldn't it make them look pathetic? The King sat back down and touched his brows when his phone buzzed. He looked at the screen and saw it was from his wife.

"Mm." He answered unenthusiastically.

"He's at the northern Island?" The Queen asked frantically on the other line to confirm.

"Mm."

"He's bound to come back sometimes. Let him be." The King reasoned.

At this point, Aegus was heard in the background, "Tsk tsk, as a man, he should be allowed to date a woman or two before marriage. Everyone is throwing this out of proportion!"

The Queen hung up and sent a threatening glare at her baby brother. She sneered, "If later I found out you're part of this operation, I'll cut your limbs off."

Aegus calmed, "Relaxed, relaxed. Just let him be. He needs experimentation. Hehe heee." He laughed with an impure look in his eyes.

Annoyed, the Queen smacked her brother. What Aegus said was also true. Hue Chi should have dating experience, but they preferred it be with their women of choice, not someone from a different country who owns a small business barely standing off from the ground.

There is only so much Ma Chien can control in regards to suppressing the press. If there were to be a small leak or scandal of the Prince with such a woman, it could be hard to suppress since things can get shared and screenshot quickly.

Hue Chi led Yu Sha out to the patio overlooking the sea. Small torches were lighted around the edge, infused with flower scent. The chef waited for them with a cart tray of food.

Hue Chi pulled a chair for Yu Sha before seating himself. The chef waited for the two to properly sit and then uncovered the tray lid. Skillfully, he placed the dishes onto the table and excused himself.

Hue Chi and Yu Sha ate their dinner but Yu Sha wasn't one who like to eat silently. She like to chat with her mouth full of food.

She didn't want to argue with him about taking her back. Even if she argued, she knew he wouldn't listen anyways. "I don't have the energy to fight with you. So how long are we staying here?"

"Depends on my mood."

"What is that mean?"

Hue Chi leaned in closer, locked his eyes on her and replied, "If you make me happy."

Yu Sha choked on her food, quickly covered her mouth and cough. Her mind jumped to the most unimpure end of the spectrum and a color red flushed up her face. She cleared her throat. Once calmed down, she rejected, "I... I don't know how to make you happy."

"It's very easy." He replied.

She cut in. "I don't have the capability to."

"It's fine by me if we're here forever too."

Yu Sha shrugged. "Hah.. Sooner or later, your parents will be here knocking on the door. You think they'll let you be shunned in with a woman they don't like?"

He challenged. "Let's wait and see then."

Seeing his indifference replied, her heart felt slightly shambled. Maybe he knew his parents wouldn't abuse resources for such a trivial thing. They may not like her, but she wasn't an immediate threat.

"Don't you even think about weird stuff." She mumbled.

Hue Chi could only smile, seeing her worked up under the wrong impression.

Yu Sha didn't like the satisfied smile on his face. Whatever he was planning, she wanted to make it clear cut. "Wipe off that smirk on your face. Whatever your dirty mind is thinking, nothing is going to happen. Hmph!"
