Riot Blood

A series of energy drinks released to the public by Gatling Drum Corporation, headquartered in the United States, through a secret formula. It is legal.

One sip and the drowsiness disappears; one can and even the harshest late-night work becomes nothing. However, for some reason, it strictly prohibits consuming more than five cans within 24 hours. There are a few recorded cases of people who did so, but no one knows what happened to them. It is legal.

The company is frequently inspected by the government, and there are active investigations by civilians who claim, "There must be something illegal mixed in." However, it does not contain illegal drugs or caffeine in amounts that would violate the law. In other words, it is legal.

If the energy drinks released before the establishment of Gatling Drum Corporation were pistols, then Riot Blood is at the level of a railgun mounted on a battleship in terms of caffeine kick. Yet, it is legal.

Every year, protests and demonstrations demanding, "Stop distributing illegal drinks! Disclose the recipe for the drink!" are held in front of the headquarters building. However, the CEO personally conducts annual inspections of caffeine content and drug tests in front of the building, proving that there is nothing to be ashamed of. Incidentally, the latest products of the year are distributed for free to the demonstrators. This is also legal. In fact, it's probably the goal of the demonstrators.

There is an occult rumor that "While it is just an energy drink in terms of physical laws, the souls of warriors who died in madness and chaos throughout human history are dissolved in the drink, which is why it has such a strong effect. Eventually, divine punishment will befall them." However, the anonymous person who proposed this theory became an enthusiastic user of Riot Blood two months later. It is legal, as if recognized by God.

In Japan, a slightly diluted version is sold because it is considered too potent. However, American-made Riot Blood is traded through underground channels. This is also legal.

The reason why occult theories are whispered is believed to be due to the fact that all executives of Gatling Drum Corporation, including the CEO, wear black robes and triangular hoods, resembling participants in a cult religious sabbath. According to the company's statement, "We are all very shy and ordinary citizens, so we hide our faces." This is a very suspicious line of legality.

Incidentally, the name of Gatling Drum Corporation is not "drum of a machine gun" but "ram that is repeatedly fired."

Product Lineup

Riot Blood

The first and immortal flagship product. A monstrous energy drink that launched a full-scale assault on the energy drink industry, which was playing a Western-style game with pistols, with the latest fully armed battleship. Many users still love the original Riot Blood. The black Minotaur holding a ram is the symbol.

Riot Blood Undead

A product with the catchphrase "Even corpses wake up!" and the ominous warning "Do not let the contents come into contact with corpses under any circumstances." The result of applying the contents to a corpse is [deleted]. It is legal, meaning it is safe. The green zombie holding a ram is the symbol. It's very refreshing, but never let it touch a corpse.

Riot Blood Backdraft

A product that gives the feeling of a universal transformation, as if you can feel the caffeine circulating through your body with each breath. It is particularly popular among athletes who use their bodies in sports and is probably the most drug-tested in the Riot Blood series. However, it is legal. The red firefighter holding a ram is the symbol.

Riot Blood Quantum

Of course, a liquid that humans drink cannot emit light, HAHAHA... However, the can glows blue at night. This is a product that even heavy users couldn't touch until it was officially guaranteed to be legal by public authorities. Despite its ominous appearance, the caffeine effect is not that strong, but for some reason, after drinking it, you can eat any bizarre dish without hesitation, such as insects... or steamed meat. The smiley boy holding a ram is the symbol.

Riot Blood Tonight

Released this summer, Riot Blood has finally surpassed Hypnos! A new model and a new monster that can withstand two all-nighters with just one can. Despite being completely legal, for some reason, it has not yet been released in Japan, which is quite mysterious. The man in a suit holding a ram is the symbol.

Riot Blood RevolLantern

Not yet released, this new type of Riot Blood, code-named "RB-VI," was secretly developed for a dramatic effect over a short period. Originally intended for customers who need a high level of concentration in a short time, such as athletes and professional gamers, it gives a sensation as if the brain is exploding, but surprisingly, it is legal. The design was finalized to pay respect to the "dramatic promotional activities by ordinary people" in a certain island country. The pumpkin-headed Jack-o'-Lantern holding a ram in one arm and a lantern in the other is the symbol.

It's hard to incorporate such a gag setting into the main story...

The author likes Monster and Red Bull, but personally prefers 9MM.
