Cheng Chen was still sitting there, and his leg wasn’t shaking anymore. He was staring at Xu Nian, and it was hard to tell if his expression was happy or unhappy.

“……” Xu Nian could only sit there obediently and drink tea.

Shi Liansheng said, to fan the flames, “How come I didn’t know that you guys were dating?”

Cheng Chen furrowed his brows. “What are you doing? Hurry up and hand it over!”

Xu Nian saw that Cheng Chen was about to take matters into his own hands, so he hurriedly said, “Boss, are you sure you don’t want to reconsider?”

“Reconsider what?” Cheng Chen jutted out his chin, and elevated his haughtiness. “Didn’t you say that you wanted to date me?”

Chen Di, who was still immersed in his thoughts of how to properly take care of the affairs of the abandoned man who was thrown away by his boss, stuttered out, “S-say what??”

“Dating.” Cheng Chen said, while ripping up the contract, he then enunciated, word by word, “Fall in love!.”

Xu Nian：“……”

Cheng Chen very dramatically and coolly threw the paper shreds in front of Xu Nian, then solemnly said, “Starting tomorrow, I give you permission to pursue me.”

After he’d finished speaking, Boss Cheng let his leg momentarily shake with restraint, stood up and fixed his shirt collar, then turned around and walked out.
