The warmth in the tent comes from a flame in a copper basin on the top of a metal bracket on both sides in front of a huge animal skin. The core of the flame was green and does not appear tricky. It’s a bright and fresh green, giving people a feeling of vitality.
This huge animal skin was covered with golden stripes, not only the entire tent skin inside, but also spread down and still extended. Lastly, a huge animal head was placed in front of this carpet-like thing. —Opened eyes, a pair of huge half human head-sized eyes, congested as a whole as bright as a ruby.
Su Ce saw the man standing on the right side of the beast’s head and holding out a hand to support it. He was a strong man wearing leather armor on top and furry half-cut leather trousers underneath. He had a short hair and stood on his head like a thorn. The outline of his face was very hard, there are several scars of different depths.
Well, I believe a little more on this man who is several years old. Su Ce thought.
Tan Tu looked at Su Ce carefully and when he noticed his eyes were clearly in focus, he quickly asked, “Ah Ce, are you...alright?”
Su Ce looked up at him silently, seeing the undisguised concern from the Orc’s face. He replied, “It’s all right.”
Tan Tu immediately put out a big smile.
Seeing his heartfelt joy, Su Ce didn’t overdo it and look back at the Patriarch, “Hello.”
Sa Ta watched the interaction between the two and smiled, “Su Ce, listen to Tan Tu. Would you like to join our tribe?”
Su Ce hesitated but still nodded, “...Yes.”
Tan Tu’s smile could hardly be taken back. Sa Ta was amused by his silly appearance—from all males in the same situation. Then he said directly, “Well, since you have become a member of the tribe, as a female, you can freely choose where to live.”
Tan Tu wanted to say something, but Sa Ta’s eyes stopped him. He could only be anxious there.
Su Ce pondered and asked, “Is there any choice? I don’t know much about this.”
Sa Ta laughed, “Generally, because you’re new here and you’re not familiar with the composition of the tribe, you can choose to live alone or live with your guide.”
Of course, his guide means Tan Tu.
Su Ce actually preferred to live alone, but when he saw Tan Tu’s face full of expectation, he shook lightly. Also, if he lives alone, it would be inconvenient for him to find out something...
Seeing that he was still thinking, Sa Ta continued, “If you choose to live alone, I will hold a small party at night to let everyone know you. Then I will choose several strong males to patrol the vicinity of your residence at night to avoid any danger. During the day, I will let several females to introduce you of the situation in the tribe...but if you live with your guide,” He looked at Tan Tu, “Then all this will be handed over to Tan Tu. Your safety will be Tan Tu’s responsibility. He is also one of the strongest warriors in the tribe and has enough ability to protect you.”
As a Patriarch, he didn’t hesitate to talk to his people, especially males at some specific times in front of his sweetheart, to speak well.
Su Ce’s heart wavered even more.
He has to say after coming to this strange place, the first living creature he encountered was Tan Tu and had been saved by him a few times... Even if this guy looked a little embarrassed, it makes his uneasy mood gain some certain stability. Su Ce knew this was an alternative ‘nestling complex’, and in fact, Tan Tu never made him feel uncomfortable.
Apart from the two words ‘female’ and ‘male’ which makes him feel bad now.
Perhaps he already understood something...but this speculation really made him...complicated. If his conjecture was true.
Tan Tu watched his sweetheart thinking. His beautiful side face seemed to glow. He had never seen any female with such charm!
—Here, we have to mention the appearance of Su Ce.
Su Ce’s eyes were slighty narrow. The canthus are just right, but it hasn’t reached to the point of phoenix eyes. His nose bridge very straight. His mouth isn’t that big. He rarely smiles so his lip line is a little tight. The skin is slightly whiter than ordinary men but only within the normal range, due to the infrequent exposure to sunlight in the office and other genetic reasons.
The hair is black, not thick or thin, but each was very docile and tall about one meter seven or eight.
In general, each part is not particularly outstanding, just quite. Has a serious face.
Seriously, Su Ce lived for twenty-five years and never been in love—it doesn’t mean he isn’t good looking nor is it because he doesn’t have a man’s responsibility. After all, he was an excellent student and worked hard along with his Senior. He’s the company’s second-best at cleanliness. Anyway, it should be the women’s best standard to choose a spouse, right?
But when women saw his face, they all retreated.
First of all, no one wants to be observed as if they were some documents.
Second of all, no one could hold a man with a serious face all the year round and is strict with his girlfriend as he is with his subordinates.
Third, no one could get used to such a regular and almost non-entertaining life...even brushing one’s teeth, taking a bath and going to the toilet regularly scheduled. What kind of trouble is it?
Therefore, Su Ce remained single on his twenty-five years. He had no history of love, no heart, and no history of affection... If the affection for Yang Han’s care was also considered, then, one?
When everyone saw Su Ce except Yang Han, they always felt there was a daunting aura in him that makes them retreat before they could get close.
Tan Tu was different. He doesn’t feel this kind of aura at all.
To put it simply it’s the beast-people’s self-odor that’s too strong that Su Ce’s temperament becomes a unique personality, even a unique charm.
Especially for Tan Tu who’s in love, Su Ce’s advantages are all seen by him. The disadvantages in the eyes of outsiders are all into his adorable points...so Tan Tu thinks Su Ce is extremely beautiful!
And now, Tan Tu is working hard for Su Ce to live with him.
Su Ce didn’t know but Tan Tu was very clear about it. As a guide, if he could persuade Su Ce to live with him, then the blind date meeting tonight could be avoided.
Yes, it’s a blind date meeting.
If foreign females join their tribe, if they really want to join in, it’s undoubtedly better to marry the male of the tribe in order to be peaceful and happy.
If foreign females are single, they’re usually brought back by outgoing males—the males are the guides for females to enter the tribe—if the females have no love for him, or he have a partner, or he refuses the male’s love, or chooses to live alone, the Patriarch will introduce him to the whole tribe, which is like a disguised matchmaking conference.
The Patriarch will choose several males in the tribe who are fond of the female, let him protect outside the female’s residence at night, or pursue him by various means.
So if Su Ce agrees to live with Tan Tu, it would at least acquiescence to Tan Tu as the guide’s priority pursuit. But if he refuses, Tan Tu would stand on the same starting line as other males.
However, Su Ce didn’t know this.
In spite of this, Su Ce was defeated by Tan Tu’s extremely nervous look. Rather than letting many strangers hang around the door, it’s better to be with someone who’s familiar and friendly to him...
When Su Ce clearly said, “I’ll live with Tan Tu”, he saw Tan Tu’s smiled brighter.
Su Ce didn’t expect that even his guess was outrageous—
For example, he thought the male was an Orc and the female was an ordinary human like him and there might be a special connection between the two... but he also failed to guess that
...there are actually no women in this world!
He didn’t even think that the Orcs of this world have formed their own unique civilization through countless generations of evolution, and in order to continue to reproduce this tribe, the tribe had established rules... it restricts every Orc, at the same time it also protects.
