Jerry and Ralph felt the overwhelming killing intent from Li She and immediately became much more sober. As mercenaries, they were naturally sensitive to killing intent. The killing intent emanating from this boss of the little soldier spread out like ripples, which must have required the slaughter of countless people to possess such substantial killing intent.
The two men exchanged glances, seeing fear in each other's eyes. They felt as if they were standing naked in the snow, being stared at by a fierce beast. The soul-deep fear made them tremble with fear.
"Thump" Jerry swallowed hard and said, "Can I join you? My brothers and comrades all died on that damned island. I want to avenge them!"
Ralph also nodded resolutely and said, "Count me in! Damn it! My younger brother also died on the island."
The little soldier, hearing their words, looked at Li She. With Li She as the boss, the decision naturally fell to him.
"You need to think carefully! Joining 'Infiltration' means you can never leave. Otherwise, I will make you wish you were dead!" Li She said coldly. As he spoke, the cold killing intent pressed down on the two men.
A sense of suffocation immediately came over them, as if they saw a scene of mountains of corpses piled up on the vast land. A god-like man stood proudly atop the countless corpses and bones.
Ralph bit his tongue, the pain making him more sober. With red eyes, he shouted, "Even if you are a real demon, as long as you can help me avenge them! What does selling my soul matter? I have nothing left! If you want my soul, take it!"
"Whatever it takes to avenge them, my life is yours!" Jerry followed.
Li She smiled and said, "Welcome to the team!"
As Li She's killing intent dissipated, Jerry and Ralph's chests heaved as they greedily sucked in air. The killing intent Li She had displayed was truly terrifying.
With the addition of 'Viper' Jerry and 'Hound' Ralph, the 'Infiltration' mercenary group's strength greatly increased.
Li She was always generous to his people. He had the little soldier give Jerry and Ralph some money to help settle the orphans and widows in the mercenary group.
The two men, who had been numbed by alcohol for a long time, were greatly invigorated by the hope of revenge.
Based on what Ralph and Jerry said, Li She spoke, "So, your two mercenary groups were almost completely wiped out in the small town? You didn't even step into the jungle?"
"Yes, to our shame, we never even saw the face of 'Silver Fox.' We were slaughtered by a group of monsters. That hundred-meter-long python was incredibly agile and huge. The Gatling heavy machine gun couldn't do anything to it. And those monsters, as big as lions, were extremely fierce. Our snipers didn't even have time to aim before their necks were bitten off," Jerry said.
Hearing Jerry's words, Li She nodded silently. These things were nothing to him, but for ordinary people, they were fatal. Just the sight of them was terrifying. Humans are always filled with fear of the unknown, which is a common human reaction. Not to mention, a team that didn't break after a 60% casualty rate was already elite among elites.
Having experienced a biohazard, what disgusting monsters hadn't he seen? "A real-world biohazard? Interesting," Li She thought.
As the leader of 'Infiltration,' he had to step up to the challenge.
Li She looked around at everyone and pointed to the little soldier, "Have Little Three and Little Four hack into the FBI's network and find out what 'Silver Fox' Parker Cooper obtained."
Then he looked at Jerry and Ralph and said, "Contact Chicago Printer Kent Wim and get some gas bombs!"
"Yes, boss," the little soldier replied.
Jerry and Ralph nodded excitedly. If they used gas bombs, it wouldn't matter what kind of monsters they were; they would all be eliminated.
With Li She's words, Little Three and Little Four sprang into action. In the dimly lit room, several monitors were set up, and the large computer was flashing.
Little Three and Little Four's hands flew over the keyboard, inputting commands.
Little Four, with a cigarette in his mouth, roared, "Ah! Let the FBI's ass bloom again!"
Little Three shuddered, glanced at his sister, and shook his head speechlessly. He quickly found the information about 'Silver Fox' Parker Cooper, downloaded it, and then left.
The brief hacking attack left the FBI's computer experts in a frenzy. By the time they tried to trace back, Little Three and Little Four had already brought the information to Li She like a treasure.
"Boss, look. This is what we went through great hardships to get from the FBI's computers. Tell us, how are you going to thank us?" Little Four said playfully.
Li She was puzzled for a moment, then nodded and said, "Thank you!"
"Is that it? You're not even going to give us some money as a reward? Just a 'thank you'?" Little Four complained.
"I remember your skills are pretty good. The FBI's network isn't a big deal for you, right? Besides, you're my Little Four, why are you being so picky?" Li She ignored the fuming Little Four and took the USB drive, plugging it into the computer to browse the information.
"It's this thing! No wonder there was a giant python and the monsters you described," Li She said, pointing to the English text on the computer.
"Biological Enhancement Agent," everyone blurted out. "What is this?" Three Hands asked, puzzled.
Bob interjected, "Shit, I didn't expect it to be this kind of thing. Damn it! This was developed by the German Nazis during World War II to enhance the combat capabilities of individual soldiers. After injecting this agent, the German soldiers could become incredibly strong, with reflexes several times faster than normal. The scariest part is that it could reduce the sensitivity of the hypothalamus, making the body feel less pain."
"What happened later?" Little Three asked, interested.
Li She continued, "Later? With Germany's defeat, the project was abandoned. The research was taken by the Soviet Union, while the United States got the precision-guided weapons technology from Germany. I didn't expect the Soviet Union to continue experimenting with this during the Cold War. It seems the collapse of the Soviet Union gave 'Silver Fox' the opportunity to get his hands on it."
"So those monsters and the giant python were altered by this biological enhancement agent. No wonder all the bullets didn't work," Jerry said softly.
Looking at these so-called secret documents, Li She shook his head. "No, even the effects of the biological enhancement agent aren't that exaggerated. Even if the Soviet Union improved the German agent, it shouldn't have such an effect. Something must be missing."
Li She said softly, "It seems I need to take matters into my own hands." He opened his laptop, stretched his hands, and began to input commands rapidly.
His hands moved so fast that they left afterimages, leaving Three Hands and Little Four speechless. "Wow! Master! I thought I was pretty good, but it was always because of the poor computer. I didn't expect the gap to be so big."
Everyone was startled by Li She's rapid movements. Three Hands looked at his watch and swallowed hard. "Boss, you're not hacking into the FBI's internal network with just this laptop, are you?"
Li She looked up, surprised. "What's wrong? You used a computer to hack in, why can't I?"
"That... that's different. My computer is a supercomputer with modifications, and... Hey! How can you hack into the FBI's network with just a laptop?" Three Hands shouted in frustration.
Li She ignored the frenzied girl and continued searching for all information about 'Silver Fox.' Suddenly, he found a piece of information about 'Silver Fox' working as an agent in Thailand. In 1989, 'Silver Fox' used the alias John Lin to organize intelligence gathering in Thailand.
"So that's it," Li She smiled, understanding. After getting what he wanted, he exited the FBI's network, cleared his traces, and shut down the computer.
The FBI's internal network is attacked by various hostile countries almost every day, but being hacked into the high-level data area twice in one day was unprecedented.
The head of the FBI's cybersecurity was furious, "Are you all raised on shit? Is the FBI's internal network a Disneyland? Hackers can come and go as they please! You... you incompetent fools."
The technicians responsible for the network firewall could only endure it. Being hacked twice in one day and having important files downloaded each time was a terrifying event.
"Little Three, Little Four, you two are now responsible for investigating what 'Silver Fox' encountered and what he did in Thailand. It seems this biological enhancement agent is not simple. I suspect it's mixed with Southeast Asian 'Voodoo' techniques," Li She murmured.
"Are you serious? Boss, you've been reading too much Wei Shi. Voodoo? You must be kidding!" Little Four said sarcastically.
Hearing Li She's words, the little soldier nodded in agreement. "Boss is right. When I was fighting in Vietnam, I saw people who had been cursed, and their deaths were bizarre."
"Hey, Little Soldier, that doesn't sound like something a former revolutionary soldier would say. Didn't our great leader Mao teach us that there are no ghosts or gods in this world?" Little Four said disdainfully.
Li She, who had experienced traveling through countless worlds in 'The Order of the Divine Thief,' didn't believe that there were no supernatural beings in the world. Who else but the all-powerful deities could create such a heaven-defying artifact?
"You haven't seen it, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. There are many things in this world you haven't seen or don't know," Li She said softly.
"Hey, boss, since we haven't seen it, can you take us to see it this time?" Little Four asked hopefully.
Li She shook his head. "No, your skills are too poor. I would have to protect you, and you'd just be a burden."
Hearing Li She's words, Little Four pouted.
