Wang Jian carefully answered the phone, and a seemingly familiar voice came through. The caller then said he was from the police station and asked Wang Jian to come over immediately, saying that the group caught had agreed to compensate for all the damage to the vehicle.

"On what grounds? You randomly assaulted someone, violating the Public Security Punishment Law. We have the right to punish you. Tell us where your accomplice is!" the person said sternly.

Fortunately, Lu Jun had gone to repair the car, or he would have been brought along as well.

Wang Jian decided not to speak further, indicating silent protest. The other party, seeing that they could not get any information, waved a hand and had Wang Jian taken to the detention center.

Chen Yu anxiously waited for Ye Fengling's call, now placing all his hopes on her.
