Listening to the sound of the military world.

March 15, 609 ZY, 09:30:00.

Civilization Level: Level 2.

System Activation Level Required: Level 1.

This was another gate similar to the one labeled "Main World," but it was one of the lower gates in the tower. Unlike the previous gate, the characters on this one were black, and if you looked closely, you could see a faint light, indicating that this gate had been activated and was currently usable. The most significant difference was the time below the words "Military World," which was ticking.

Why was He Ping standing in front of this gate? Because he had made a decision that could very well affect his entire life. Something he thought he had long lost suddenly had a perfect opportunity to be reclaimed. Anyone in this situation would do everything possible to seize this opportunity, and He Ping was no exception. To return to his original world, to save his father who had been framed, and to reclaim everything he had lost, He Ping was determined to do whatever it took!

To activate the gate to return to his original world, he needed to upgrade the so-called portable armory system to Level 2. To upgrade the system to Level 2, he needed 1,000 war points. To obtain war points, he needed to sell the weapons and equipment produced by the armory. Selling weapons and equipment sounded simple, but upon closer thought, it was not just about selling weapons and equipment; it was also about selling war and death!

Who would he sell the weapons and equipment to? The first thing that came to He Ping's mind was the thousands of troops he had encountered before entering the tower. It was clear that the troops were divided into two sides, and they were likely preparing to engage in battle. However, He Ping's sudden appearance between the two armies had disrupted their plans. Even more bizarrely, after killing a longbowman, the unknown child had vanished, leaving everyone on the scene thoroughly puzzled.

He Ping calmed himself and slowly pushed open the gate labeled "Military World." On the other side of the gate was the same location where He Ping had been earlier. It seemed that while he could move to the tower at any time, he could only return to the last location in other worlds. At this moment, He Ping had not yet taken a step, so while he could see the scene on the other side, he was still invisible to the people there.

He Ping saw that all the soldiers, whether Asian or European, were in a state of combat readiness. The conflict between the two sides was about to erupt, and due to He Ping's sudden disappearance, everyone on both sides was on edge. Even the high-ranking commanders in both camps were uncertain about the situation and were communicating with their subordinates in languages He Ping did not understand.

"Detected unknown and unlearned language, analyzing..."

"Analysis complete: Tianhua language, difficulty level 3; Auckland language, difficulty level 3."

"Language infusion system activated, starting infusion..."

"Ugh!" He Ping first heard a few flat voice prompts, followed by a slight pain in his head. Before he could react, the pain disappeared, and in the next moment, He Ping immediately understood the meaning of the words. The scene on the other side of the gate had not changed, but he could now understand everything everyone was saying.

"Second Brother, what do you think just happened? How did a person just disappear like that?"

"You ask me, who should I ask? Just because you call me Second Brother, you think I know everything? Why don't you think about it yourself?"

"I'm not smart, that's why I'm asking you."

"At least you know you're not smart, which means you're not beyond saving. Look at Dog Egg over there; I think you're much smarter than him."

"True, how can Dog Egg compare to me?"

"Did you figure out what just happened?"

"Uh..."

...

"Brother Niu, that kid was amazing! He actually caught the arrow shot by the longbowman!"

"So what? Our general can do the same. The issue isn't catching the arrow; it's that he threw it back and killed the longbowman who shot him."

"That's true. I've been a soldier for many years, and I've never seen anyone with such strength."

"Plus, he's just a kid. Imagine how powerful he'll be when he grows up."

"Exactly, exactly!"

...

"Hey, guys, did you see that kid? He looks like one of us Tianhua people, but what's with the clothes?"

"He's definitely a Tianhua, but I've never seen clothes like that. They look well-made. Could he be from some hidden noble family?"

"Third Brother, you watch too many stories."

...

"Hey, Jimmy! Did you see that?"

"Of course, a person just disappeared. I'm not blind, how could I miss it?"

"Do you know what happened?"

"Ask Bill; he knows more."

...

"Damn, damn, damn! Peter was killed by that kid!"

"Peter is a fool. Who told him to act on his own without orders?"

"Actually, you know, Peter is a new recruit. It was his first time on the battlefield. He got nervous and his hand slipped, releasing the arrow."

...

"That kid looks like a Tianhua, don't you think, Edward?"

"Judging by his appearance, yes, but I've never seen clothes like that."

"Could he be from a remote area, far from the border?"

"Possible."

...

Listening to the whispers of the soldiers, He Ping was exasperated. While he did get some information about the so-called Military World from their conversations, most of it was trivial. It seemed that the cultural level here was generally low, and the soldiers were mostly illiterate. He would have to get useful information from the generals, so he focused his attention on the generals on the Asian side, specifically the Tianhua side.

A middle-aged general who seemed to be the leader said, "Wen Fang, why did a Tianhua child appear on the battlefield? Why didn't the scouts detect him?"

A young man who looked like a deputy general replied, "General, the scouts scouted the area, but they found no issues."

"Hmph!" The general snorted and turned to a middle-aged man dressed as a scholar, speaking respectfully, "I hope Mr. He Chuan can enlighten me."

The middle-aged scholar sighed and said, "General Zhao, what we should focus on now is what to do next."
