Coming to the deck, Lao Er was still there, studying the piece of yin wood. Seeing Ye Yuan arrive, he asked, "Have you figured out what it is yet?"

Ye Yuan didn’t waste words and directly told Lao Er that it was very likely a piece of golden-thread nanmu yin wood. Lao Er, upon hearing this, also said that Ye Yuan’s luck recently was simply indescribable.

Finally, he said to Ye Yuan in a flattering tone, "Brother, sell me a piece. You have such a large piece, you won’t use it all. My dad really likes tea. If I make him a tea tray from golden-thread nanmu yin wood, he’ll be overjoyed."

Ye Yuan considered for a moment and replied, "Alright, I’ll give you a piece, but don’t go around telling everyone."

"How can I do that? I’ll buy it, don’t be so formal with me, Brother."

"No, I won’t sell it. If you want it, I’ll give it to you, or forget it." Ye Yuan replied directly.

Don’t look at Lao Er being carefree most of the time; he was actually the most meticulous among the four roommates.

During the four years of school, he spent a lot of money on Ye Yuan, but the good thing about him was that he always made you realize it only after the fact.

Once, because something happened at home, Ye Yuan’s living expenses were reduced, and for a period, he only ate two meals a day.

Lao Er then pulled Ye Yuan to eat at restaurants outside campus for several days, claiming he was heartbroken and needed comfort.

He kept taking Ye Yuan out to eat until a senior classmate found out and caused a scene, revealing that Lao Er was a flirt and they had broken up. There was no real heartbreak at all.

Lao Er did many such things over the years. Whenever there was a problem, Lao Er was always the first to notice.

Now, Ye Yuan wasn’t in urgent need of money. He originally just wanted to make some furniture and bracelets from the wood. Since Lao Er needed it, he would give him a piece.

"Thanks, brother."

Lao Er also knew that Ye Yuan wasn’t short of money now, though he couldn’t compare to Lao Er’s family, he was still considered a millionaire by ordinary standards.

Ye Yuan instructed the crew to remove the outer hard skin of the wood and store it in the ship’s hold.

They stayed in international waters for two more days, during which they caught a few nets of fish with average results.

These times, he let the crew do the fishing themselves. He didn’t want to use his cheating ability too often, especially with Lao Er on the ship.

After two days of fishing in international waters, Ye Yuan decided to return.

They had been out for some time. During the return journey, Ye Yuan caught two more nets of fish, one of which included five large yellow croakers, a pleasant surprise.

The fishing boat docked safely at the pier in Pinghai County, where Wang Yueshan was already waiting. Ye Yuan had called him in advance.

Boarding the fishing boat, Wang Yueshan was delighted to see so many premium seafood items. They negotiated the price, and the total for the seafood was 31 million yuan, which Ye Yuan hadn’t expected.

As Wang Yueshan put it, he gave Ye Yuan a premium price for the premium seafood, most of which he directly procured for his family’s hotel, which was much more expensive than what seafood merchants paid.

While Wang Yueshan was busy unloading the seafood, Lao Er pulled Ye Yuan aside. He planned to go directly to Shangjing and find a master carver to process the tea tray for his dad.

Ye Yuan didn’t try to keep him and had Ding Er buy the necessary tools from the county. He cut a piece of yin wood according to Lao Er’s specifications and packaged it.

After seeing off Wang Yueshan and Lao Er, Ye Yuan returned to Fish Bay Island with the fishing boat. The island was now basically completed.

Fish Bay Island had a fresh look, shaped like a crescent moon, running north to south. The south side was a small hill, with a cliff facing the sea. At the base of the cliff was a small reef, where ships couldn’t dock.

The north side was a plain, where the pier was built. Not far from the pier was the workers’ dormitory, built in two rows with each room having an independent bathroom. Behind the dormitory was a seawater desalination system.

A ring road around the island was under construction. Although the island wasn’t large, walking around it would be quite troublesome.

Ye Yuan’s family villa was at the foot of the hill, a considerable distance from the workers’ dormitory.

At the original site of the Ye family village, some processing workshops were built. Since the equipment hadn’t been purchased yet, they were all temporarily idle.

In the middle of the island, a large cold storage facility was built, with a few small warehouses nearby.

Between the warehouses and Ye Yuan’s family villa, a crew rest area was constructed, equipped with various fitness and entertainment facilities.

Ye Yuan originally hadn’t planned to build these, but after observing that the alien technology robots could eat like normal humans, converting the food into energy, he decided to build them for the robots.

Seeing how well the modern industrial facilities blended with the natural environment on the island, Ye Yuan felt very proud. This was the island where he had grown up for over twenty years, and it was getting better and better under his hands.

Back home, his sister’s family was also there. After discussing with his brother-in-law, they decided to build a resort on the empty land near the villa by the sea. This idea came to Ye Yuan when Lao Er and the others came to visit.

Although he didn’t plan to open the island to the public, he wanted to have a place for friends to stay. He couldn’t have everyone stay at his house.

After giving his brother-in-law some money, they discussed the details of the resort for over an hour before returning to the living room.

His mother wanted to keep his brother-in-law’s family for dinner, but his brother-in-law said he had things to do in the county and left with his sister and niece.

After dinner, Ye Yuan returned to his room. The breeding farm was now completed, and his father had asked him during dinner when he would introduce the fish fry.

Ye Yuan hadn’t forgotten that he had bought a lot of abalone fry from the Blue Sea abalone breeding base. After so many days, with the system’s feed, he wondered what the abalones looked like now.

Entering the space, Ye Yuan went to the sea where the abalone fry were. Seeing the abalones, he almost couldn’t believe his eyes.

"Are these really the abalone fry I bought a few days ago?" Ye Yuan muttered to himself.

He saw large abalones quietly lying at the bottom of the reef.

He remembered that he had put the abalones into the space in two batches.

The first batch was 100,000 abalone fry bought from Blue Island, and the second batch was a few hundred abalones caught from a nearby reef. The sizes of the second batch varied, and he couldn’t remember the exact details.

Now, the smallest abalones in his space were about the size of a four-headed abalone, and the largest were already the size of a two-headed abalone. He wasn’t sure if this was due to the feed or the benefits of the space for the abalones’ growth.

Looking at the lobsters and some rare fish he had casually thrown into the space, although they grew faster than those outside, they were nothing compared to the abalones.

It must be due to the feed. This showed that the feed was extremely effective, but it also posed a problem. If others knew he could grow 2 cm abalones into four-headed abalones in a month, his secret would be exposed soon.

After much thought, Ye Yuan came up with an idea: to dilute the space feed with regular feed.

The next day, Ye Yuan went directly to the abalone breeding base where he had bought the abalones. The same person in charge received him, and he bought another 100,000 abalone fry, paying and leaving without a word.

Watching Ye Yuan leave, the person in charge muttered to himself, "There aren’t many people who can kill abalone fry in a month. I haven’t heard of any recent viruses."

This person thought that Ye Yuan had killed all the abalone fry he bought last time, which was why he was buying more so soon.
