"Perseverance has arrived at the Gemma System Space Station. Please, students, take your personal belongings and disembark in an orderly manner."
Lu Yin stood by the window, looking down at the Gemma System Space Station, which was already very far from the Solar System. This was the place where Perseverance first performed a wormhole jump.
For most people, the Gemma System Space Station was quite ordinary, but for Zhang Dingtian, Xu San, and other Earthlings who were stepping into space for the first time, everything was incredibly awe-inspiring.
The Gemma System Space Station was enormous, thousands of times larger than Perseverance. It was made entirely of unknown metal components, floating in space, with spacecraft everywhere. At first glance, it resembled a massive metal monster with its fangs bared.
Behind the Gemma System Space Station, there was a protective net formed by countless spacecraft. Even from a distance, Zhang Dingtian could feel the astonishing star energy fluctuations emanating from there. These were the strong beings who could wander the stars, and such beings existed within this space station.
Perseverance was placed on a huge frame. Below, beams of light descended, and students appeared one by one.
Most students did not need to go to the Imperial Capital Star. These students came from various parts of the Great Universe Empire and needed to transfer stations.
More than twenty students landed at the Gemma Space Station. After leaving Perseverance, they visibly relaxed.
Granny was among them, and she finally left Lu Yin.
Before leaving, Granny turned back to look at Perseverance, saw Lu Yin waving at her, and gave him a fierce glare, muttering something that was clearly not nice.
Lu Yin raised an eyebrow; this girl was asking for it.
Besides Granny, Willow, Bai Lie, and others also left. Their academies were not far from each other.
What surprised Lu Yin was that Yin also left.
Lu Yin stared at Yin's back, his gaze deep in thought. This person was hard to fathom. Cooperation? We'll see who can outplay whom. Before that, he needed to figure out the forces behind Yin.
A figure broke through the sky, and it was Xikemaluo.
Lu Yin glanced at the universe, then continued to observe the star map. Being in space, he truly felt the vastness of the universe. He was confident that he could cultivate the fifth star within a month. How strong would he be then? Generally, each additional star doubled the power. With four stars, he had suppressed the Exploration Realm's Qing Yu, making him invincible. With five stars, perhaps he could challenge the Fusion Realm students like Mono, who might not be his match.
The station master of the Gemma System Space Station was named Baruda, an Explorer with a combat strength of ten thousand, capable of wandering the stars. He had guarded the Gemma System Space Station for over two hundred years, diligently and conscientiously.
Station masters of such space stations did not need to personally guard the wormholes, but Baruda was different. For over two hundred years, he had personally guarded the wormhole, earning a reputation throughout the Great Universe Empire.
Xikemaluo appeared at the rear of the space station after crossing a great distance. He looked at the massive wormhole, then at the dense protective net of spacecraft nearby. At the center was Baruda's spacecraft.
With a creak, the spacecraft door opened, and a middle-aged man in battle armor stepped out. He leaped over several kilometers and appeared in front of Xikemaluo. "Station Master Baruda of the Gemma System Space Station, meeting General Maluo."
Xikemaluo respected this man and smiled. "Station Master Baruda, it's been thirteen years since we last met. How have you been?"
Baruda replied solemnly, "No enemy invasion has been detected in thirteen years."
"That's good. His Majesty has mentioned you many times. Thank you for guarding the frontier of the Great Universe Empire," Xikemaluo said.
Baruda immediately saluted. "I am a soldier of the Imperial Army. Guarding the frontier is my duty."
"You should have received the notification. A planet called Earth at the edge has just undergone evolution. Please, Station Master Baruda, closely monitor it and send troops to eliminate the failed products as soon as possible to prevent enemies from infiltrating," Xikemaluo said seriously.
Baruda's eyes narrowed. "The New Human Alliance?"
Xikemaluo nodded and looked toward Earth. "The evolved zombies must not be discovered by the New Human Alliance. Even if one zombie king is taken away, it will be a problem for our Great Universe Empire. You should understand the severity of this matter."
Baruda nodded solemnly. "I understand. I will immediately send troops to Earth to eliminate the zombie horde."
"Also, while eliminating the zombie horde, do not damage the planet. That planet temporarily belongs to the Purple Mountain King," Xikemaluo added.
Baruda acknowledged and immediately left.
Soon, Perseverance started again, rising and flying toward the wormhole at the rear of the space station.
As they entered the wormhole, everyone felt weightless, but it was just a moment. The next moment, everything returned to normal, except that the surrounding starry sky had changed. They had traveled from the Gemma System Space Station to another star system space station, leaving without stopping.
Xu San exhaled, the moment of entering the wormhole had frightened him. The darkness was not something everyone could face.
The distance crossed by the wormhole was quite vast. They had moved from the domain where the Solar System was located to another domain.
The universe was divided into star systems as the smallest unit. Above that were star clusters, each containing many star systems. Even broader were superclusters, each containing many star clusters. Then came the domains, which were the units of vast powers in the universe.
A domain contained many superclusters, with an infinite range. The Great Universe Empire encompassed thirteen domains, which almost divided the Canglan Territory in half.
Above the domains was the territory. The entire outer universe had seventy-two territories, and the Canglan Territory was just one of them. On average, each territory contained a hundred domains. In other words, the Great Universe Empire's territory was roughly one-tenth of the Canglan Territory, which had a hundred and twenty-five domains.
The Solar System was in the fourth domain. Just now, Perseverance had crossed from the fourth domain to the third domain. Their destination was the first domain, where the Imperial Capital Star was located, the center of the entire Great Universe Empire.
With a batch of students gone, the training area became much less crowded.
Lu Yin came to the training area and saw many familiar faces. As soon as they saw him, they left as if avoiding a plague. Lu Yin didn't care; he had no intention of getting along with anyone.
Once his identity as the Purple Mountain King was confirmed, trouble would come. He could foresee that he would be universally disliked in the Great Universe Empire. So what? His identity was fake, and he only needed the power to influence a domain in the future. Of course, he couldn't do that yet.
The training area simulated various environments, covering a large area.
Lu Yin wandered to the gravity zone, which was a good place to train his body.
The gravity zone had over a hundred gravity rooms, each large enough to accommodate more than one person for training, and they were all open.
Lu Yin found an empty gravity room and set the gravity to six times. After warming up, he gradually increased the gravity. As the gravity increased, his body became heavier, and the pressure on his internal organs grew. When the gravity reached thirty times, he was drenched in sweat. This gravity level was the limit for the Exploration Realm, and most Exploration Realm experts could only withstand up to thirty times gravity.
"Good enough, let's start training," Lu Yin muttered to himself. He began with basic exercises, which were simple but effective. He had used these exercises to train his body to the point where he could perform the Wave Palm without star energy. Now, with enhanced combat techniques, the Wave Palm and the Sky Splitting Palm were less effective, but he didn't want to give up these physical combat techniques. Without star energy crystals, he needed to quickly enhance the power of these two techniques.
Outside the gravity room, students looked at the gravity readings in surprise. "Thirty times gravity? Which senior is training? Is it Mono, Yan Gang, or Huo Xiaoling?" someone guessed.
"Maybe it's a veteran. There are Fusion Realm experts among the soldiers."
"The soldiers are the most likely. They can't absorb star energy crystals, so they can only train their bodies. I've heard that many soldiers can reach the Fusion Realm physical strength at the Exploration Realm."
"But they're just a bunch of trash. What good is a strong body? They're just battle slaves," a student sneered.
Nearby, a few soldiers looked unhappy but did not argue. They were from trial planets, and being selected to enter Perseverance was already a great achievement. However, they did not have the qualifications for the Great Universe Empire to重塑 their bodies, so they were indeed battle slaves.
"Alright, if you want to know who it is, just open the door," a student said impatiently.
Someone nearby immediately advised, "Disturbing someone's training can cause trouble. Thirty times gravity, it's likely a Fusion Realm expert. Are you sure you can handle it?"
The student's expression changed, and he ultimately did not move forward.
