"Who's there? Do you need something?" It must be someone he knew, so Li Jingming asked. If it was a scam call or a sales call, he would talk until the other party's phone bill was maxed out, not hanging up until at least two or three hours had passed.

"It's me, your cute little Crystal." Once Krystal confirmed it was Li Jingming on the other end, she started her coquettish tactics.

Li Jingming was taken aback. He didn't know anyone surnamed Xiao. Maybe it was Xie, or Xiao, or even Xio. "Who is this?"

"It's Krystal." Krystal felt she needed to keep up her coquettish act. "I heard that you and the others went out to play yesterday. How could you not invite me to such an important and meaningful celebration?"

"I think it was the important activity of eating barbecue that you couldn't miss." Li Jingming remembered Krystal's eating habits very well. She had a completely childish taste. Although they had only eaten together once, Krystal's visibly bulging little belly had left a deep impression on him. He was already indifferent to Krystal calling him "brother-in-law." If she wanted to call him that, fine. It wasn't like he was losing anything. What else could he do?

Since Jessica usually went home on Fridays, but didn't go home yesterday, Krystal stayed in the dorm to check if Jessica was really living with Senior Li Jingming. Otherwise, why would she not go home or back to the dorm last week and instead stay at someone else's place?

Recently, Krystal found out from the internet that Li Jingming was the boss of LK. She had been pestering Jessica to take her to LK for ice cream. How could she be unsure when she had seen Jessica eating for free at LK? The only one who could satisfy her endless love for mangoes was her "brother-in-law." Unfortunately, Jessica always said that Li Jingming was very busy and couldn't take her there.

When Jessica returned to the dorm yesterday, Krystal could smell the unique aroma of barbecue from a distance. The scent of Jessica's perfume was completely overwhelmed. How much beef must she have eaten? Krystal didn't think much of it at first, but the most infuriating thing was that Lin Yoon-ah pretended to hold her stomach and said that there was too much meat and she couldn't eat any more, so she had to come back. She only ate a little side dish and the cafeteria's soup for dinner. Krystal's resentment towards Jessica was off the charts. Couldn't she have called her? Even if they were eating barbecue abroad, she would have chased after them. How could she not invite her own sister to such a good thing?

"We went to support OPPA's performance, and OPPA invited us to celebrate." In fact, this was Jessica's idea for a celebration, aiming to make Li Jingming understand her better and introduce him to the people around her, creating a sense of unbreakable bonds. These were tactics she had learned from magazines, but she was hesitant about bringing Krystal along. This little troublemaker liked to talk too much and would do anything for food, so Jessica didn't dare to bring her out.

Krystal knew that her sister sometimes didn't tell the truth. She immediately started her own calculations. She realized that going through Jessica wouldn't work, as she always made excuses. The only way was to connect directly with her "brother-in-law." Krystal couldn't sleep well all night, thinking a lot. Finally, she successfully stole Jessica's phone while Jessica was napping. Jessica slept like a log and didn't even know her phone was under her pillow. The phone was locked, but Krystal knew the password. Her eyesight was good, and Jessica wasn't very cautious around her, so she had seen the unlock code.

After unlocking the phone and checking the call log, Krystal was delighted. "This is completely a case of a woman pursuing a man."

The call log was all green, showing that Jessica had made all the calls to one number. The contact name had been changed by Jessica (it couldn't be 10086), originally just a letter "J" for Jamie, and now it was "OPPA." Since she didn't know that Li Jingming's real name was Li Kan, Krystal didn't understand the nickname, but she was sure this number belonged to Li Jingming.

After watching the entire "Music Center" at the company, Krystal calculated the timing to avoid Jessica's sight. She directly called Li Jingming and also asked to celebrate with him. "Brother-in-law, you're so great. Even though there's no one today, you're always number one in my heart!"

"You two sisters are really close. Your sister also said she wanted to celebrate with me yesterday, but I ended up paying the bill and even had to pick her up and drop her off..." Li Jingming was speechless. He felt like a backup.

Krystal replied matter-of-factly, "My presence is the best celebration. Do you want me to pay? Even if you sold me, I wouldn't be worth a meal of Korean beef."

"You know, right? Fine, I'll come over later, and bring your sister along." Li Jingming knew the little girl wanted to make up for not eating beef yesterday, so he readily agreed. He liked such a cute child, especially since she was Jessica's sister.

"No way." Hearing that she had to bring her sister, Krystal dropped the honorifics and spoke very briefly. No way, if her sister found out she had specially contacted Li Jingming for a meal, she would be in big trouble.

"Then what if we go out alone? That's absolutely not possible." Li Jingming couldn't go out alone with Krystal, even though she was only fourteen.

Krystal was silent for a moment. She knew going out alone wasn't an option. "I've got it. I'll bring my cousin, and it will be fine." Krystal remembered the cute little snowball, Chae Seol-kyung, who was her cousin and a good friend, and used to be roommates with Kim Tae-yeon.

"I'm more and more convinced that you and Sica are sisters." Li Jingming was amazed by Krystal's solution. Jessica also always brought two or three friends when she came, just like Krystal now.

Although he had agreed to Krystal's request for beef, he still called Jessica. This was her younger sister, and he wasn't really her brother-in-law, so he didn't have the right to take a minor out alone. "Hey, Sica, it's me."

"Uh, OPPA, what's up?" Jessica was about to go eat and was happy to receive Li Jingming's call. Li Jingming rarely called her. In fact, Li Jingming didn't often call anyone, except for work-related matters.

"Did you give your sister my number? She called me today and asked me to take her out for Korean beef. I just wanted to let you know that I'll be with her, so you can be at ease." Li Jingming directly explained the purpose of his call.

Jessica frowned. "I didn't give my number to anyone. Oh, I put my phone on the left side of the bed, but it was on the right when I woke up. That little troublemaker!"

"Your sister can steal your phone?" Li Jingming, who had no siblings and a special status at home, found this very surprising.

"Uh, OPPA, come over later and find me. I need to teach her a lesson." Jessica didn't say not to come because she was also happy to have an excuse to go out with Li Jingming. If she always called him out for meals or outings without a reason, it would be too obvious. Jessica had her own philosophy of dating. Meetings with a good reason wouldn't seem forced or annoying.

"Chae Seol-kyung, you have three minutes to appear in front of me. I'm waiting in the company's practice room." Jessica called Krystal.

"Oops, caught." (A line Krystal often used in "Cutie Pie"). Hearing her Korean name, Krystal knew her sister was angry. She must have found out about today's incident. Her "brother-in-law" really shouldn't have told her. This was their little secret.

Three minutes later, Krystal obediently went to Jessica's practice room. "Sister, your most adorable little Crystal is here."

"Don't be cheeky. This is a serious matter. Did you steal my phone and look at it?" Jessica asked sternly.

"How did you know?" Krystal thought only the matter of wanting to eat beef had been exposed, not this.

"My phone doesn't have legs. How could it move from the left side of the pillow to the right? Do you think I'm an idiot?" Jessica demanded.

Seeing that she was caught, Krystal tried to reduce her punishment. "I just looked for brother-in-law's number. I didn't read those mushy messages."

"Mushy messages?" Jessica was shocked. This little troublemaker had even read her messages. "Oh, you say you didn't read them!"

"I guessed that your messages with brother-in-law would be mushy, so I didn't read them. Really." At this moment, Krystal felt she couldn't even convince herself, but it was still better to explain.
