Chapter 43

(PS: During the new book period, I urgently need various recommendations, Three Rivers votes, and collections. Please give your support, dear readers!)

The next day, the school announced the results of the assessment.

The 300 selected初级机动战士 (初级 meaning '初级' or '初级' level) will receive a monthly resource allocation of 20,000 star coins, up from the 2,000 star coins for regular students! The top three students will receive a one-time reward of 150,000 star coins worth of cultivation resources; the students ranking from fourth to tenth will each receive 50,000 star coins worth of cultivation resources.

As for the special reward for the first place: a dedicated mecha. Director Xu Tingfeng of the military academy's logistics supply department has assured Instructor Muliya that he will arrange for Qin Huang to receive the best-performing Bronze One-Star mecha, and it will be brand new.

"…In two days, the new equipment allocated by the military will be delivered by a specialized transport fleet. At that time, you can personally bring your students to select! You can choose however you like!" he said to Muliya.

As the head instructor of the mobile warrior training program, Muliya was naturally very concerned about Qin Huang's matter. She felt reassured after receiving his assurance.

However, Qin Huang was currently agonizing over something.

The young man was always cautious and meticulous, accustomed to planning before taking action. Especially after being noticed for his unusual performance in the online battles, he became even more careful in this regard.

After Yuan Beibei challenged him, he was quite concerned about this powerful female student. Although she was not in his class before, her source energy index of 23.5 was no joke.

To ensure he knew his enemy, the young man then sought out some of her battle videos to watch, planning to understand her fighting style and formulate a suitable strategy. Ideally, he hoped to discover some of her weaknesses or flaws in advance.

However, this led to a problem. The female student's combat style was extremely similar to that of the "Beibei Cat" in the network.

If it was just a few battles, he wouldn't have suspected anything, but in the network, they were old rivals! They had fought over twenty times, and he was more than 90% certain that they were the same person!

This was not hard to understand. They were all using the internal combat network of the military academy, and on Dinnan Star, there were only a few mobile warriors of this age and with such outstanding strength. The probability of them meeting in real life was quite high!

The young lady was not stupid. If he could notice the unusual, then when they met in real life, she would definitely recognize the same issue as soon as he made a move!

Qin Huang couldn't imagine what Yuan Beibei's reaction would be if his true identity was exposed! Not to mention, she had a powerful cousin, the woman with the ID "Goddess Han Yue," who was undoubtedly Cheng Shuhan!

If he fell into the hands of these two sisters and, by extension, their family, his only fate would likely be to be locked in a secret prison and dissected like a lab rat! The big shots would use every conceivable method to torture him to get the secrets from his body! Even suicide would be a luxury!

So the best way was not to fight her.

But this idea was quickly dismissed by Qin Huang! Avoiding her challenge might make him a coward, but the key was that if he refused her, others would also challenge him! He couldn't always avoid battles, right?

If he did, not only would the students look down on him, but the instructors would also start to doubt his abilities. So this was a hurdle he couldn't avoid; he had to find a way to handle it perfectly.

After much thought, he finally decided that in the future, he would try not to use the Void Hunter Type 3 in real life, even though it was a mecha he was very familiar with. To prevent his biggest secret from being exposed, he would have to choose other mecha models and change his combat style, even if it meant a period of adjustment.

"Perhaps… I can activate the strategic AI core again!" he thought.

The AI core contained vast amounts of knowledge and data about mechas. Finding some powerful mecha combat techniques was not a problem, which would help him keep his secret.

Moreover, he was now a mobile warrior with strength close to the second stage, having practiced the Alaya Vijnana Heart Method for several months. His vitality was several times stronger than before, fully capable of withstanding the significant consumption of activating the AI core.

Thinking this, Qin Huang carefully checked his room and then lay down on the bed, pretending to rest. Soon, he fell into a deep sleep.

In just a moment, a familiar multicolored aura slowly emerged from within him, emitting a faint, mysterious aura. At the center of the aura was a black obsidian-like polyhedral crystal, exuding an indescribable sense of authority.

As the crystal appeared, his vitality flowed towards it like mercury, but with his deep reserves, he no longer felt the weakness and discomfort of the past.

In the depths of his consciousness, the vast sky remained, with multicolored crystal lights swirling around him, like mysterious beings dancing tirelessly under the eternal beauty of the stars.

Qin Huang sighed inwardly, not lingering, and walked towards the two-meter-high white jade round platform in front of him. The pale blue hemispherical AI core was quietly perched on it, its smooth surface faintly glowing with a golden light, exuding a sense of authority and depth.

This time, his interaction with the AI core lasted longer, but the other party did not actively respond, merely opening the database for him to access the information he needed.

Although the AI core contained many advanced cultivation techniques, few could rival the Battle Emperor Star Decision. They were the most precious treasures of human civilization during its golden age! As for the Alaya Vijnana Heart Method, which could continuously optimize human genes and elevate the essence of life, there were only a handful of such supreme techniques!

Given Qin Huang's current strength, his options were limited. He couldn't consider the low-level techniques, and the high-level ones had extremely strict requirements for the practitioner's strength! The best option would be a technique with a low cultivation threshold, high lethality, quick results, and suitable for his combat style.

By the time the young man finished his selection and exited the crystal, it was already evening, and the city lights were just beginning to shine.

A knock on the door, and Wu Neng's voice came from outside: "Boss, dinner is ready."

Qin Huang responded, got up from the bed, and opened the door.

The dinner was extremely lavish.

With all three of them now members of the初级 mobile warrior training program, their treatment had significantly improved, so the variety and nutritional value of the food on the table were much higher!

Nourishing red jade rice, grown on the best agricultural planets in the Federation; tender and delicious silver-lin snowflake beef, from the most famous livestock planet in the neighboring country; golden flower yellow-spotted fish from the deep sea; premium caviar, like black pearls; and high-quality aged red wine, among other delicacies!

With the identity of a初级 mobile warrior, all expenses at the school were covered by the government! The military academy always invested heavily in resources for the future core military forces!

"…Is this the life of the elite? I… am content with this life!" Wu De gobbled down the mountain of steak on his plate, occasionally exclaiming in satisfaction.

Qin Huang glanced at him and said, "Take it easy! If you keep this up, you might get so fat you can't even fit into a mecha. The instructors don't need a super-eater!"

"Where? I'm already very restrained!" Wu De swallowed a large piece of beef and said with an innocent look, "I'm trying to lose weight. My average food intake is already a third less than before. Do you know how much determination it took for me to reach this level, Boss?"

Despite his words, the amount of food on his plate was enough to feed an elephant with plenty to spare!

"Is that so?" Qin Huang snorted, "Then cut it down by another third! In a month, reduce it to the amount for a regular mobile warrior. This will ensure you quickly return to a normal size!"

"Agreed!" Wu Neng immediately said.

In fact, with Wu De's massive appetite, he had to prepare the equivalent of a dozen people's meals every day, plus a lot of organic nutritional supplements, to satisfy this glutton. Reducing his burden was something he welcomed!

"What? How can this be?" Wu De immediately objected, his face filled with indignation, "Boss, this is murder, outright murder, do you know? Even the gods cannot deprive a person of the right to eat. I will go to the instructors to report your inhumane behavior…"

"If the instructors knew about this, they would definitely agree with us!" Wu Neng laughed, "You don't want to be expelled from the school one day because of your weight, do you? Have you ever seen a mobile warrior as fat as you?"

"…This…" Wu De's face stiffened, and after some thought, he had to reluctantly agree, sighing.

Qin Huang thought for a moment and said to Wu Neng, "The school has given us two days to handle internal affairs. We'll be moving to new dorms tomorrow! After you finish this, go home and visit! The training program will officially start the day after tomorrow. Be prepared for anything that might happen!"

With the upgrade in status, their accommodation, meals, and cultivation resources would all improve. From tomorrow, they would no longer have to share a dorm with regular students but would have their own private suites, though not very large, with all the necessary facilities, and the comfort level would be incomparable.

"Anything?" Wu Neng was taken aback and asked, "You mean the top students will find excuses to cause trouble for you?"

Qin Huang smiled coldly, "Exactly! I want to see which blind fools will come forward. They won't truly submit until they are thoroughly beaten!"
