Chapter 86

At this moment, although Qin Huang did not know the exact location of the Wu De brothers, he could guess that they were looking for him.

Therefore, before setting out, he had secretly agreed on several coordinates with them. After landing, as long as there were no emergencies, he would head to those places to wait.

So, on the ninth hour after arriving on the planet's surface, Qin Huang rushed to the first coordinate, a hilly area by the sea, but found no sign of them.

"...There's something under that rock!" Qilan suddenly said.

Qin Huang looked around and operated the mecha to walk to a tall boulder a hundred meters away. He released an engineering robot to search, and indeed found two crudely made metal plates from a cave at the bottom of the rock.

The raw material for the metal plates was a part from a mecha, cut and processed with a light sword. On them were crudely etched strange hieroglyphs of unknown meaning.

Qin Huang examined them and breathed a sigh of relief. These symbols were the communication codes he had agreed upon with the Wu De brothers, and they were one-time use, so even if outsiders saw them, they wouldn't know their secret.

"Great, the two of them are safe, and Lin Ximei has also joined them. With three people acting together, the safety factor is much higher!" he said to Qilan.

The Nine-Tailed Fox raised her delicate and beautiful forelimbs, rubbed her snowy white fox ears, and thought, "If that's the case, I don't think you need to go and meet up with them!"

"Many people are focusing their attention on you. If you act together with them, the target will be too big. When a fight breaks out, who will have time to take care of others?"

Qin Huang pondered for a moment and nodded. "You're right. That makes sense. Let's act separately then, and take the opportunity to find more good things!"

Despite being explored and cleared by the Federation military multiple times, this primitive planet remained largely undeveloped due to the lack of large-scale immigration. The surface was rich in all kinds of rare plants and mineral resources. According to the military's information, even just wandering around the surface with a mecha could yield some rewards.

With the help of the Nine-Tailed Fox, Qin Huang was like a top-tier player, collecting countless exotic flowers, fruits, precious tree hearts, younglings and eggs of high-level beasts, and special metal ores along the way!

Even after he decided to share the biological resources with Qilan, the remaining items quickly filled up all the compartments of the mecha. After more than ten hours, he had already summoned the military warship three times to receive the spoils and tally the combat points.

With his current strength, there were very few beasts on the planet's surface that could pose a threat to him. Wherever he went, the native beasts that could escape his hands were few and far between.

All these advantages combined were the reasons for his rapid increase in combat points and steady rise in ranking.

"...There seems to be a rare big thing over there. It's up to you whether you dare to deal with it!" Qilan suddenly said.

Qin Huang's expression brightened, and he immediately asked, "What is it? Do we need to use our trump card?"

"Take a look yourself!"

Qilan pointed to the screen, where a mountain peak over 300 meters tall suddenly appeared among the mountains, about twenty kilometers ahead.

Qin Huang recognized it at a glance among countless peaks because its appearance was truly unique. It was entirely crystal-clear and emerald green, extremely smooth and glossy, not at all like a natural product, but more like a meticulously polished giant jade artifact!

As they got closer, they could see many black holes of various sizes irregularly distributed on the surface of the mountain.

"What is this? A naturally formed high-quality jade? Such a color should be worth a lot of money, right?"

Qin Huang muttered, quickly checking the information in his optical brain. He found that it was indeed a top-grade jade material, but compared to what was inside, it was insignificant!

Realizing this, he immediately operated the mecha to approach, circling the jade mountain from a kilometer away, carefully scanning and recording the precise terrain around it, before discussing the strategy with Qilan.

The black holes on the surface of the jade mountain were dark and silent, with no idea how deep they were or where they led. According to the mecha's odor analysis, a gas with strong hallucinogenic effects was detected around the holes.

Military records showed that no matter how fierce the beasts, if they dared to approach within 500 meters of the mountain, they were basically sentenced to death, with very few exceptions!

"Elorias Multi-legged Rock Python," this was the name of the beast lurking deep within the mountain.

Compared to the common beasts outside, this creature was highly intelligent, extremely fierce and bloodthirsty, with bizarre and hard-to-defend attack methods and powerful destructive capabilities. More importantly, it was a social beast!

According to Qilan's sensing ability, there were at least a dozen life signs hidden deep within the mountain, meaning that there were at least dozens of Elorias Multi-legged Rock Pythons living inside.

Such a population size made them invincible within hundreds of kilometers, making them the undisputed regional overlords.

"If we use multiple high-explosive armor-piercing missiles to clear the way, destroying this mountain should not be a problem, but I'm afraid these cunning beasts will run away!" Qin Huang mused.

Although the Elorias Multi-legged Rock Pythons liked to live in such mountains, they also had extensive underground tunnels. If they were at a disadvantage, they could easily escape through these tunnels.

"It's fine. You can use powerful weapons to bombard them. Even if they are completely burned, as long as their heads remain roughly intact, it's fine!" Qilan said.

"Alright!"

Qin Huang nodded, put away the ion laser sword in his left hand, opened the weapon storage compartment on the mecha's abdomen, and took out a 60-centimeter-diameter, silver-glowing, iron-gray ellipsoid, with multiple complex dark green patterns etched on it using an unknown method.

He hesitated for a few seconds before grabbing it, then circled the mountain with the mecha, aiming for a larger cave at the top, and fired three high-explosive armor-piercing missiles in quick succession!

Under the precise guidance of the fire control module, the three missiles, trailing a streak of blue smoke, entered the cave one after another, hitting their target without a miss!

"Boom..."

The muffled explosions echoed, reverberated, and overlapped inside the mountain, causing the entire peak to tremble!

At the moment the missiles exploded, Qin Huang rushed into the cave, throwing the iron-gray object inside with all his might, then shot straight up to a kilometer in the sky.

"Poof!"

With a not-so-loud explosion, a large cloud of black gas, shimmering with faint golden light, rolled out of the cave, almost enveloping the entire mountain.

Suddenly, from deep within the mountain, came a series of urgent and strange hisses. Several creatures, as thick as water barrels and covered in earth-colored scales, quickly rushed out of the surface holes, fleeing madly, with more following behind!

These social beasts, equivalent to Bronze Three-Star mechas, seemed to have sensed the impending disaster, which was why they were so frantic. However, once the mysterious sphere truly exploded, it was too late!

On the ground, a bright fire cloud, hundreds of meters in diameter, slowly blossomed, instantly depleting the oxygen in the surrounding space, triggering an even more devastating explosion!

The beautiful jade mountain trembled, finally unable to withstand the terrible pressure, disintegrating from the inside out until it completely shattered, causing a rain of rocks!

"This is your secret weapon? It looks pretty powerful!" Qilan said in surprise, not expecting the attack to be so exaggerated.

"Yep! This is an enhanced cloud bomb, with a source energy matrix to boost its destructive power. I modified it myself, and it's indeed quite powerful!" Qin Huang smiled.

To pass this trial safely, he had made extremely thorough preparations. In addition to optimizing and upgrading the mecha, he had also secretly obtained a batch of special equipment and ammunition from Sha Zhenghai, specifically to quickly deal with such troublesome enemies at critical moments.

If he followed conventional tactics and lured the Elorias Multi-legged Rock Pythons out one by one to kill them, it would take a long time, and these cunning beasts might not even come out to die.

"Alright! Let's quickly go and collect the spoils!" Qilan said eagerly.
