"Click, click..."

The seat belts automatically unlocked, and one by one, the bald men opened their eyes and stood up. The air was thick with a frenzied atmosphere, as if countless ravenous wolves were baring their foul, bloody fangs.

These were all murderers, from those who had detonated space stations to those who had committed home invasions and highway robberies. In short, not a single one of them was a good person, and they exuded a strong, bloody aura from head to toe.

As for their hairstyles, that was the warden's personal preference.

A total of thirty-two people, thirty men and two women, plus Tang Fang, made up the entire team for the "Butcher Operation."

One by one, the bald men descended from the Sand Scorpion armed transport helicopter. A few of them even gave Tang Fang a sinister smile as they passed by. The woman with a black tulip tattoo on her chest winked at him and blew a kiss.

Tang Fang returned their gazes with cold eyes. He was not someone to be trifled with, much less a spineless fool.

Only after the last person left the cabin did he slowly get up and disembark.

"Click" The rear door closed, and the Sand Scorpion armed transport helicopter's engine started. After climbing to an altitude of a thousand meters, it opened the bottom hatch and dropped an armored box before accelerating away.

A short while later, with a dull thud, the box landed on the ground. After a burst of air, the box opened, revealing a full set of military-standard equipment: M-505 military knives, automatic rifles, temperature-regulated combat suits, night vision goggles, gas masks, medical gel, and more.

The group, who had been eyeing each other with disdain, now had bloodshot eyes as they rushed over. Tang Fang watched them coldly, not moving.

"Bang."

A gunshot rang out, and blood splattered. A thin man fell backward.

"Damn it, I told you not to push me, but you didn't listen. You brought this on yourself!"

"Ah, ah, ah."

Accompanied by cries of pain, a sturdy man with a square face and thick eyebrows lay on the ground, crawling backward. In front of him was a short man, who was tightly gripping a dagger and stabbing the thick-browed man's belly, creating one bloody hole after another: "Feels good? You've always bullied me, damn you. No matter how strong you are, you still end up with a white knife going in and a red knife coming out."

The originally reddish-brown ground became even redder. The setting sun cast a bloodthirsty and fierce light on everyone's faces, like that of wild beasts.

The scene was chaotic, but Tang Fang noticed that only three people remained calm, and the other criminals avoided them as if they were the plague.

A middle-aged man with a scruffy appearance and a beard as hard as steel nails had an unusually calm expression. The vicious curses, wild shouts, and splattering blood did not even cause a ripple in his dead eyes.

A young man with half his face burned, resembling a demon from hell, was laughing wildly, his laughter like the screech of a night owl, hoarse and cruel.

His name was Grosso, and Tang Yan's memory contained information about him: a former gunner of the "Sperm Whale" fleet, the mastermind behind the detonation of the Gien space station.

Another man, with bags under his eyes and the demeanor of a Solon Empire noble, had discarded his automatic rifle and was holding a long, sharp dagger, casually wiping it on his prison uniform.

Tang Fang recognized this man as well: Byron Alonso, the leader of the "Apollo" pirate group, who had robbed countless imperial transport ships and was later captured due to a betrayal by his subordinates. It was said that his ancestors had indeed been barons, and the bags under his eyes were just a result of his lowbrow and vulgar taste!

"OH, YEAH... YEAH..."

As everyone was fighting over the weapons, a woman's lustful moans suddenly came from a distance. Tang Fang glanced over and saw the woman who had earlier winked at him rolling around naked with a man who had a large lizard tattoo on his right arm, completely ignoring the amused, disgusted, or lustful gazes of the others.

"Clomp, clomp."

A man with a cross-shaped scar on his forehead slowly walked over, the sand crumbling under his military boots. As he passed by Tang Fang, he narrowed his eyes, a cold light flashing in his pupils.

"If I were you, I wouldn't do that."

Tang Fang's cold voice echoed in his ear, and the man froze, his hand reaching for the trigger inexplicably dropping. He suddenly had a gut feeling that if his hand moved another inch, he would be the one to die, not the kid.

All of them were veterans who had fought in wars and had a natural instinct for death. This instinct had saved him many times on the battlefield. Although he didn't know why the unarmed Tang Fang gave him such a sense of pressure, he didn't dare take the risk. He had just escaped from that dark, cramped box and didn't want to die without even having a sip of tequila.

Taking a deep breath, he walked away and sat down on a bare rock.

This strange scene caused several nearby prisoners to be greatly alarmed, and the scruffy man also glanced at him with surprise.

"Hausen didn't make a move and was scared off by a single word."

"What is Hausen afraid of? That kid is unarmed; a single stab would be enough to kill him."

"Hausen's senses are always sharp; he must have noticed something."

"Right, that kid is a current soldier and the nominal leader of this operation. Who knows if the military has equipped him with some secret weapon."

Tang Fang ignored their comments. Seeing that most people had chosen their weapons, he strode toward the weapons cabinet.

"Shh, shh..."

His footsteps were steady and rhythmic, but to those in front of him, each step felt like it was stomping on their chests, and the无形 pressure forced them to scatter to the sides.

Tang Fang walked to the weapons cabinet, organized his gear, picked up an automatic rifle, loaded the magazine, and took the infrared sensor. He then walked to a nearby sand dune, unscrewed the water canteen, and took a couple of sips. He looked at the sky; night was not far off.

The fighting finally stopped because no one wanted to spend the night on the ground.

Four dead, one injured. If the injured man wasn't taken back to the base immediately, he might not see the next sunrise.

"Are you done fighting?" Tang Fang stood up, his gaze sweeping over the group. "I don't want to be your leader, and I don't have the energy to manage you. If you don't want to follow me, do as you please. If you want to follow me, I can't guarantee your safety."

"I'll wait here for ten minutes. Those who stay will be following me. If you don't want to come with me, you can leave now."

His words left everyone stunned. Who among them hadn't shed blood? Who wasn't stubborn and defiant? They hadn't expected this kid to be even more reckless, actually taking the role of the commander seriously. Each of them was a tough character, and he was treating a chicken feather like an order. Was he lacking in brains?
