"Yufan, can you please say a good word for me when you get the chance!" On a train heading to Busan, in one of the carriages, a man in his twenties said to a teenager sitting opposite him.
This teenager was Kim Yufan, and the man in his twenties was named Roh He.
After being warned by the four older sisters of Fin.K.L, Kim Yufan continued to stay at DSP Media for a week.
During this week, Kim Yufan had fully understood the internal situation of DSP Media, at least regarding his dormitory, who his vocal and dance teachers were, and when and where to go for classes.
When the week was over, DSP Media indeed fulfilled Li Haoyan's promise, which was to find the best middle school in Seoul for Kim Yufan.
After DSP Media's efforts, Gangnam Daeseong Middle School agreed to Kim Yufan's transfer request, but before the transfer, Kim Yufan first needed to get his grandmother's approval and the consent of his original school, Namsan Middle School.
Thus, Kim Yufan's trip home was naturally scheduled. Under the arrangement of DSP Media, Kim Yufan followed Roh He onto the train back to Busan.
"Bro, don't worry, I'll handle it!" Seeing the somewhat nervous Roh He, Kim Yufan couldn't help but smile and reassure him.
Roh He was originally a trainee under DSP Media and could even be considered one of the stronger trainees. Otherwise, he wouldn't have caught the attention of the company's upper management and become a reserve member of the newly debuted Click-B group.
Unfortunately, for some unknown reason, Roh He failed the final selection. It seemed that this failure had a significant impact on him, and he no longer had the desire to debut as an artist.
Under the guidance and advice of his seniors in the company, Roh He gradually changed his goal from becoming an artist to becoming the best agent.
In Roh He's mind, even if he couldn't debut as an artist due to various reasons, he could still become an agent. If he could train a superstar, the sense of achievement would be just as great.
It was not uncommon in the Korean entertainment industry for trainees who had struggled for years without debuting to switch to becoming agents or working behind the scenes.
Roh He also became an agent under DSP Media in such circumstances.
It had to be admitted that Roh He's abilities were absolutely excellent. Otherwise, he wouldn't have gained the recognition of the company's upper management and become Kim Yufan's temporary agent at the age of just over twenty.
Although he was only a temporary agent, Kim Yufan was very clear that if nothing unexpected happened, Roh He might become his main agent in the future.
Having his own agent, even if it was just a temporary one, made Kim Yufan stand out among the other trainees in the company, causing much jealousy.
He had faced some difficulties, but perhaps due to the company's upper management's attention and the protection of the four members of Fin.K.L, other trainees didn't dare to be too harsh. Moreover, Kim Yufan was smart and mature, and he wouldn't be bothered by gossip or difficulties.
Therefore, Kim Yufan's life at DSP Media for the past week had been relatively pleasant, though he had no friends. For someone with a solitary personality like Kim Yufan, having no friends was not a big deal; in fact, it was better this way, as no one would disturb him.
The company's attention also brought some pressure to Kim Yufan. The greater the expectations, the greater the disappointment. If he failed to meet the company's expectations, the company's upper management might go crazy and make his life miserable.
However, Kim Yufan had never doubted his own abilities and potential.
Not to mention his mature mindset and the experiences of his past life. More importantly, Kim Yufan discovered that he was inexplicably familiar with the future development of the Korean entertainment industry.
What classic songs, movies, super idols, and super groups would emerge in the future, and what major events would happen, all appeared mysteriously in Kim Yufan's mind.
After several days of trying to figure out what was happening, Kim Yufan decided not to worry about it. No matter what, this situation only brought endless benefits and no harm.
Kim Yufan and Roh He had only met a few hours ago, when DSP Media arranged for Roh He to take him home after he prepared to return.
Perhaps because he had adjusted his mindset, Roh He didn't feel jealous of the company's attention to Kim Yufan. More importantly, as a former trainee himself, Roh He understood the difficulties of being a trainee, especially for someone like Kim Yufan, who was so highly valued by the company and under even more pressure than other ordinary trainees.
Roh He had an outgoing, optimistic, and straightforward personality, which is why he could quickly recover from the failure of not debuting and decided to become an agent.
Thinking about these reasons, Roh He was very caring and considerate towards Kim Yufan. Plus, Kim Yufan was sensible and perceptive, which made Roh He increasingly like him. Although they had only known each other for a few hours, they had become quite familiar, and Roh He saw Kim Yufan as a close younger brother.
Seeing the somewhat nervous Roh He, Kim Yufan shook his head helplessly and tried to comfort him.
After a few hours of getting to know each other, Kim Yufan was very satisfied with Roh He's personality. Moreover, Roh He seemed to have a natural talent for being an agent, which was why he had gained the company's recognition and become Kim Yufan's temporary agent.
Kim Yufan was very satisfied with Roh He and had no objections to him becoming his main agent in the future.
After all, the relationship between an agent and an artist was somewhat sensitive. Unless there was no other way, an artist couldn't leave their agent. If that was the case, finding a familiar and capable agent was the best choice.
Hearing Kim Yufan's words, Roh He managed to smile, though he was frustrated by his nervousness in front of this young kid. However, considering that this was his first task as an agent, he couldn't help but be nervous.
Moreover, his task was to persuade Kim Yufan's grandmother to allow Kim Yufan to become a trainee under DSP Media.
Roh He, having been a trainee himself, understood how family elders viewed singers and the idea of spending most of their time as a trainee under a company.
Thinking about this, Roh He's frown deepened, and he subconsciously took a deep breath, looking at the calm Kim Yufan.
Perhaps, he wouldn't be able to persuade Kim Yufan's grandmother and would have to rely on Kim Yufan himself.
Roh He wouldn't be arrogant enough to think he could persuade a grandmother who had lost both her daughter and daughter-in-law and only had her precious grandson left.
Seeing that Roh He wasn't speaking, Kim Yufan also remained silent, quietly looking out the window at the passing scenery.
At some point, tall buildings appeared in Kim Yufan's line of sight, and he realized the train had entered Busan.
Seeing the train enter the city limits of Busan, Kim Yufan subconsciously thought of his "home" in his mind—the rusty security door, the fierce dog, and the rocking chair his grandmother loved to sit in on the balcony.
Of course, more importantly, the kind but aged face of his grandmother. Thinking of this, Kim Yufan felt a warmth in his heart, and he became even more eager to return home.
