After reading the artist contract provided by Taiwan Universal Records, Jin Yufan squinted his eyes and thought for a moment, then picked up the contract again to read through it once more. After confirming there were no hidden traps in the text, he quietly sat in the chair, calmly waiting for Lu He.

To be honest, the contract provided by Taiwan Universal Records was really good, with no hidden traps. Jin Yufan could have signed it immediately.

However, no matter what, Lu He was still there. Lu He had come to Taiwan not only as his assistant and nanny during his activities in China but also, in a certain sense, as a representative of DSP Entertainment.

The contract was about Jin Yufan, and he could have signed it without Lu He's permission. But considering that Lu He represented DSP Entertainment, and more importantly, if he signed the contract without discussing it with Lu He, it would be a huge blow and provocation to Lu He's sense of presence and dignity.

Jin Yufan was quite satisfied with his partner, Lu He. Lu He worked very diligently and was responsible and ambitious. Most importantly, he was young and got along well with Jin Yufan.

Of course, the more important reason was that Lu He was a new addition to the ranks of agents, still a rookie, a blank slate, and had not yet become tainted by time and various experiences.

At least so far, Jin Yufan had not found any signs that Lu He might turn into the kind of vampire or tyrant agent that Lee Hyori had described.

In short, Jin Yufan was quite satisfied with Lu He as his agent and did not want DSP Entertainment to replace him. If they did, and the new agent was a tyrant, it would be something Jin Yufan definitely did not want to see.

Lu He's speed in reviewing the contract was not slow. Although he did not understand Chinese very well, Taiwan Universal Records had thoughtfully provided a Korean version of the contract.

A few minutes later, Lu He finished reading the contract in his hand and noticed that Jin Yufan had already finished reading the Chinese version. Lu He whispered softly into Jin Yufan's ear, "Yufan, I've looked it over, and there are no hidden traps. The contract is good, and it can be signed. Do you plan to sign it now, or do you want to discuss it further?"

Lu He knew what kind of person Jin Yufan was. His early maturity and mature demeanor meant that Lu He did not need to act like a nanny, controlling and directing him.

On the contrary, Lu He maintained a very proper attitude, not showing off or displaying his authority as an agent. Instead, he acted as a friend, only sharing his opinions and suggestions. The final decision was left to Jin Yufan.

"I don't see any problems. Since you also think it's fine, there's no need to hesitate. Let's sign it!" Jin Yufan nodded and said calmly.

Actually, there were no issues with the contract. Before Jin Yufan and Lu He came to Taiwan, Taiwan Universal Records and DSP Entertainment had already discussed and agreed on the terms of Jin Yufan's contract.

The contract that Jin Yufan and Lu He were now reviewing was the same one they had seen in Korea before coming to Taiwan.

DSP Entertainment had already confirmed that the contract was fine and could be signed. Jin Yufan and Lu He were reviewing it again to show respect to Peng Bin and to check if there were any changes from the version they had seen in Korea.

If there were changes, they would need to be cautious. If not, everything was fine.

"OK, you decide." Lu He smiled and indicated that he would follow Jin Yufan's lead.

"Brother Bin, the contract is fine. If it's okay, we can sign it now!" Seeing that Lu He did not object, Jin Yufan smiled and said to Peng Bin, who was sitting across from him.

"Oh, don't you need to discuss it further?" Peng Bin asked, puzzled by Jin Yufan's words.

"Ha ha, no need. The contract provided by Taiwan Universal Records is very good, and I am satisfied. Besides, this is my contract, and I can make the decision."

"Alright, then, here you go!" Peng Bin looked at Jin Yufan deeply, then smiled and handed him the pen.

Without any hesitation, Jin Yufan took the pen and signed his name on both copies of the contract. He gave one copy to Lu He to keep and the other to Peng Bin.

"Ha ha, Jin Yufan, welcome to the Universal Records family. As long as you work hard and have the capability, I believe you will never regret it." Peng Bin took the contract, looked at Jin Yufan's signature, and stood up from his chair, extending his hand to Jin Yufan with a serious expression.

"Of course, I, Jin Yufan, never regret my decisions. I believe in my own capabilities and in the strength of Taiwan Universal Records!" Jin Yufan and Lu He also stood up, and Jin Yufan shook Peng Bin's hand confidently.

"Ha ha, good. Let's work together to make Jin Yufan a top star in Asia!" Seeing Jin Yufan's confidence, Peng Bin's enthusiasm also rose, and he said to Lu He.

Lu He, as Jin Yufan's agent in Korea and assistant and nanny in China, knew that Peng Bin would need to build a good relationship with him. Besides, his first impression of Lu He was not bad.

"Let's all work hard!" Lu He, who was not a talkative person, but once he spoke, he would definitely follow through.

"Yufan, ah, hmm~~~ I'll call you Yufan from now on. Now that you are part of Taiwan Universal Records, what are your plans for your debut?"

Knowing that Peng Bin was his agent in Taiwan and the Chinese-speaking region, Jin Yufan did not hesitate to share the plan he had already considered.

"Considering my current age and lack of recognition, I will not consider acting for now. I will debut as a singer first. Once I establish myself in the music industry and gain popularity, I can then transition to acting."

Hearing Jin Yufan's response, Peng Bin smiled and nodded. "Good, that aligns with my thoughts. Although Taiwan Universal Records is very influential in Taiwan, our main focus and resources are in the music industry. Starting as a singer is the right choice. With our influence, connections, and resources, we can provide you with significant support."

At this point, Peng Bin hesitated for a moment and continued, "However, Yufan, I want to know what special skills you have, something that can make people take notice and value you. Although Taiwan Universal Records is powerful, we have a large organization with many people. There are too many singers and artists under our label. Without any special skills, it might be difficult to get the company's attention and more resources. You might have to wait a long time to stand out."

Peng Bin's words immediately made Lu He nervous. He looked at Peng Bin anxiously and then at Jin Yufan.

After all, Peng Bin's words were not wrong. As a foreigner coming to Taiwan Universal Records, if you do not have any special skills or abilities, Taiwan Universal Records would not allocate more resources to cultivate you. Why would they spend time, money, and resources on a Korean or a foreigner when they could focus on cultivating local talent? This was the advantage of being a local.

Looking at the silent and thoughtful Jin Yufan and the nervous Lu He, Peng Bin thought for a moment and then said, "Of course, it's not a problem if you don't have any special skills. At least I, Peng Bin, still have some influence in Taiwan Universal Records and the major TV stations in Taiwan. We can work hard and actively seek opportunities."
