"Damn it." Wang Dong gritted his teeth, watching the man who was flying upward, and slightly crouched, as if preparing for a powerful jump.

"Wait, Wang Dong." Aisibei suddenly spoke up, saying, "How can you fight bare-handed? Take your weapon!"

"My weapon?" Wang Dong was taken aback, then looked at Aisibei and asked, "What weapon?"

It wasn't that Wang Dong was stupid, but with Aisibei wearing only a thin piece of clothing, there was no place on her that could possibly hide a weapon.

"Come here, this is my weapon, and now I will let you use it!" Aisibei placed her hand on her chest, then formed a claw and pinched the air. A golden light appeared in her palm, accompanied by a faint electric-like energy that crackled and dissipated. A cylindrical object appeared on Aisibei's chest, as if it had grown out of her flesh.

Wang Dong's eyes widened; every event today was a new challenge to his worldview. Aisibei's hand didn't stop; instead, she reached out and gripped the cylindrical object, slowly pulling it out.

Gradually, Wang Dong realized—it wasn't a cylinder, but the hilt of a sword!

After pulling it out a short distance, Aisibei slowly stopped and looked at Wang Dong, smiling gently. "Wang Dong, the next part needs you to pull it out. Otherwise, Xin Du won't recognize you."

"Is this sword called Xin Du?" Wang Dong slowly walked up to Aisibei, extended his hand, and gripped the hilt of Xin Du, saying softly, "Xin Du, let's fight for her!"

With a "hum," Xin Du trembled slightly in Wang Dong's palm, and the thought that accompanied the vibration brought a smile to Wang Dong's lips.

With a "swish," accompanied by Aisibei's light grunt, Xin Du was completely pulled out of Aisibei's body, revealing a long, slender sword with a golden glow in front of Wang Dong.

What surprised Wang Dong was that the shape of Xin Du was very similar to an ancient Chinese Tang sword, but its two-meter length made him gape in astonishment—how could Aisibei, with her petite figure, wield such a long sword? As he thought about this, his gaze flicked back and forth between Xin Du and Aisibei.

"What are you thinking about, you pervert!" Aisibei, noticing Wang Dong's gaze, bared her teeth like a hissing kitten, but her cute expression made Wang Dong laugh.

"Nothing, nothing at all." Wang Dong smiled and walked up to Aisibei, then wrapped his left arm around her armpit, holding her tightly in his embrace, and whispered, "Now, I have power and a weapon. It's time to fight back!"

"Ooh!" Aisibei's mood seemed to be infected by Wang Dong's, and she cheered playfully, saying, "Go, Wang Dong, take down that rude guy!"

"Whoosh... Huh!" Wang Dong took a deep breath, crouched slightly, and then pushed off the ground with great force. A powerful reaction force transmitted to his feet, and in the next moment, he looked at the rapidly approaching hole on the rooftop, squinting his eyes.

Just as Wang Dong was approaching the hole, the man on the rooftop suddenly inhaled sharply and said hurriedly, "He's coming!"

Then he crossed his hands in front of him, and one by one, crimson magic arrays appeared in his palms, layer upon layer. The man glared at the hole he had broken through and muttered, "I want to see how your flesh and blood can withstand this move, 'Sixteen Blazing Cannons'!"

In the next moment, Wang Dong, holding Aisibei, burst out of the hole, and what greeted them was a sky full of flames.

"Whoosh!" Wang Dong's pupils contracted sharply. Without time to think, he quickly swung Xin Du from left to right, slicing the fireball in front of him neatly in half, just like a watermelon cut by a fruit knife.

Wang Dong used the momentum of the swing to rotate his body, turning his originally upright flight into a horizontal one, and then he and Aisibei slipped through the gap in the sliced fireball.

"Boom... Boom... Boom..." A series of explosions echoed behind Wang Dong, and in the glow of the flames, he clearly saw the man's extremely pale face.

"Fiend! Sword! Xin! Du!" The man enunciated each word, then said with a dark expression, "I'm curious, where did you get this sword? As far as I know, you don't have any spatial items, right?"

"Do you think I would tell you my trump card?" Aisibei jumped out of Wang Dong's embrace, her agile movements belying her injuries. Wang Dong, looking at Aisibei, asked in confusion, "Your injuries..."

"Already healed." Aisibei smiled at Wang Dong, her eyes filled with tenderness. She walked to his side and said, "Because of you."

"Me?" Wang Dong pointed at himself in surprise. What had he done to heal her?

"It's very simple~" Aisibei smiled and raised her finger, then glanced at the man and said, "Do you mind if I give him a little lesson?"

"..." The man looked at Aisibei, took a deep breath, and exhaled, saying, "Go ahead!"

Now, he wasn't thinking about how to defeat the opponent but how to escape—indeed, his combat power was stronger than Wang Dong's, but he was still a low-level Hunter.

Although Wang Dong's combat power was inferior to his, after receiving Aisibei's high-level inheritance, Wang Dong's innate potential was now far superior to the man's, and with the Fiend Sword Xin Du...

It was like a white equipment item that had been enhanced to the top level might still not be as strong as a purple item at its initial state—especially if the purple item had special effects, making the white one even more useless.

Aisibei glanced at the man and then smiled at Wang Dong, saying, "I am a vampire, and vampires have a behavior called creating a retainer."

"Creating a retainer naturally has different levels."

"The lowest level is a blood puppet, a mass-produced retainer with low intelligence, not very useful, just cannon fodder."

"The next level is a blood slave, with its own intelligence and slightly higher combat power than a blood puppet, but still not very useful, so they are generally used as servants."

"The next level is a regular retainer, which is one level lower in bloodline than the creator. For example, if I am four-star, then I create a three-star retainer. Unless the retainer has a special encounter and obtains precious blood to break through the bloodline limit and evolve into a three-star, the regular retainer can only be two-star. Once the retainer breaks through, all regular retainers will evolve into three-star, which is the power of bloodline."

"The next level is no longer a retainer; for vampires, this level is a special existence..." At this point, Aisibei's face turned slightly red as she said, "And the act of creating this level of retainer is also a bit special for vampires..."

"Cough, in short, this level is more like an inheritance!"

"I gave you my blood, and now you are a four-star potential vampire, while I will lose all my power for a period of time."

"Inheritance is a very dangerous act for vampires because if I lose all my power and am killed, you will lose all your power and become a normal person."

"But if you, who inherited my power, are killed, my power will return completely."

Wang Dong was taken aback and said, "So, if I die, your power will return to its peak?"

"Yes, but... I don't want that kind of power." Aisibei shook her head and said, "I am in such a sorry state because I have given up all my power, which is why I was defeated by this level of trash..."

At this point, Aisibei let out a cold snort, but clearly, her mind was entirely on Wang Dong. She didn't say more about the man and continued, "Now, you and I are a symbiotic pair. Until you grow to my level, I am your source of power, and you are my temporary restraint."

"And after you became a vampire, the massive life force you gained was fed back into my body, healing me." At this point, Aisibei looked at Wang Dong and stuck out her tongue, saying, "So, I can recover completely because of you~"

"So... vampires are like this..." Wang Dong rubbed his hair in frustration. To be honest, he wasn't very good at theoretical things.

"Wait, so... I'm already a vampire?" Wang Dong suddenly realized something and pointed at himself, a bit helplessly.
