The hall turns quiet, Wang You Fu is holding his thermos and sitting down on the back. Hearing this, he couldn’t help to cough and smiles.

Everyone is laughing so hard.

But those female students, who are timid, don’t dare to laugh. They just hold their laughter, they are afraid that Lu Xing Yan would find trouble with them.

Lu Xing Yan looks around, he licks his lips.

What is so funny?

He looks at his friends, who are laughing.

He doesn’t care about the others, he just feels annoyed when Li Cheng Fan and Zhao Lang Ming laugh.

He kicks Li Cheng Fan’s leg. LI Cheng Fan just stops, he is holding his laughter.

But it’s too funny, Li Cheng Fan couldn’t control himself.

Lu Xing Yan has no way out to stop all the people from laughing, so he just looks at the stage again.

Chen Xing Ruo doesn’t laugh, she acts so calmly and naturally. Her face shows that “What do you want to do?” and “Are you enchanted because of my beauty?”

Because on the Wednesday, their mathematic and geography teachers have a collective opinion, they plan to do extra lessons for the next Saturday.

So they couldn’t leave school for the holiday.

At first some students want to have a good rest on Saturday but hearing how the grade 12 students are so busy. Chen Xing Ruo is disturbed from her sleep and couldn’t fall asleep again. She simply gets on the bed and goes to have a jog with Di Jia Jing around the school

Shi Qin and Li Ting are ones that could sleep in whatever situation. They even don’t move when Di Jia Jing and Chen Xing Ruo leave.

Chen Xing Ruo and Di Jia Jing go downstair. Di Jia Jing notices that Chen Xing Ruo brings something so she asks: “Xing Ruo, what is that?”

Chen Xing Ruo looks at her phone and just passes it to her.

Di Jia Jing just flips it open and asks: “This reading comprehension essay, the vocabulary seems to be beyond the scope of the syllabus.”

“This is from an economic student.” Chen Xing Ruo glances at her: “Yesterday the time you shared, didn’t you say that you are reading The Economist?”

Di Jia Jing pauses and rolls up her hair. She smiles: “I just try to do extensive reading, after all it’s too beyond of the scope.”

She says it then notices from the top of the paper “The Economist”.

Chen Xing Ruo: “Oh.” She doesn’t say anything else and just looks at her phone.

The morning seems cold .

There are around five to six students running around the school. There are few people are strolling story around the field with book on their hands.

Chen Xing Ruo stops near the gym and does a warm up.

Di Jia Jing follows her.

There are a group of male students are playing with the ball.

Di Jia Jing looks at them and says: “They look like Li Cheng Fan, Zhao Lang Ming and friends.”

If there are Li Cheng Fan, Zhao Lang Ming, there should be Lu Xing Yan. Chen Xing Ruo looks over and notices it’s too far to see them clearly. But she could see their figure.

Chen Xing Ruo: “Your sight is very great.”

Di Jia Jing: “………”

Chen Xing Ruo actually says it sincerely but on Di Jia Jing’s ear, it sounds like provocation

She explains: “We’ve been classmates for so long, so I’m familiar with them.”

A group of male students come over and she just could see them clearly.

Indeed those people are Chen Xing Ruo and friends.

“Chen Xing Ruo! Di Jia Jing!” Zhao Lang Ming greets them.

Li Cheng Fan also speaks: “See, these two young woman are great at taking their body. They jog in the early morning.

Lu Xing Yan seems to be sleepy, he looks tired.

Lu Xing Yan is surrounded by his friends, he seems to be so sleepy.

He wears his basketball suit, he wears his headband. He is handsome boy yet he looks he would pass out soon.

Chen Xing Ruo feels a bit thirsty, she notices that he has a bottle of water on his hand. She says naturally: “Lu Xing Yan, give me your water to drink.”

Lu Xing Yan just passes it to her naturally too. He also teases her lightly: “You have short legs, why should you go jog.”

Chen Xing Ruo just ignores her, she drinks his water. After she is done says: “You are not Jordan, why should you play basketball?’

Lu Xing Yan laughs.

Chen Xing Ruo is quite in good mood. “Lu Xing Yan, couldn’t you show a bit of energy. I think you would be too dispirited? Are your dream extracted your energy?

Lu Xing Yan suddenly be so clear-headed, he almost asks the question “how do you know about it?”

“If you are not awake, then you should sleep more. If you could place your energy to play basketball on your study, why couldn’t you try hard to get 400.”

“…….., how long would you keep on talking about 400?”

“You couldn’t get that mark, and you don’t let me to talk about it?”

Actually this is not Chen Xing Ruo’s mistake. Now she is staying at Lu family’s house, Pei Yue always talks and complains about Lu Xing Yan for unable to get 400, 400 and 400. It makes Chen Xing Ruo’s mind is full of 400.

Lu Xing Yan lifts up his chin and be bold. He just says: “Okay, what would you do if I could get 400?”

“What do you want?”

He considers for three minutes and his eyes show that he is joking. “Then if I could get it, you should promise a request from me, as for the detail…… The time I have thought about it, I would tell you. At most you would work for me for few days. Don’t be afraid.”

Chen Xing Ruo looks at him and be silent for a while, she suddenly says: “I notice that you are not that good at studying, it’s great that you could dream about it.”

Chen Xing Ruo: “Whether you could get 400 or not, it’s not my business. So why should I promise you.”

She pulls Lu Xing Yan’s headband and makes it covers his eyes. “Keep on dreaming.”

Wow, how could it not progress in the normal story of a play?

The time Lu Xing Yan is stupefied, Chen Xing Ruo passes the bottle of water back to him.

Chen Xing Ruo just leaves and continues to jog.

This woman is too…..

She was drinking his water yet she acts that way.

Lu Xing Yan pulls out his headband and wears it again. Then he opens up the water bottle again. He finishes all the water.

The time he is done, Li Cheng Fan just notices what happened. “Not right, Yan Ge, Chen Xing Ruo drank that water before.”

Lu Xing Yan looks at him and says nothing.

So what?

I just want to drink so I drink it 🙂

Chen Xing Ruo and Di Jia Jing finishes three rounds of running then go outside to buy breakfast.

Then, Chen Xing Ruo immediately goes to the classroom to have self-study session. Di Jia Jing says that she forgets to bring her things so she needs to go back to the dorm. They both go on their separate way.

The time Di Jia Jing is back, Li Ting and Shi Qin are up.

LI Ting is getting ready, she is applying her facial cream. The time she sees Di Jia Jing is back, she greets her.

Di Jia Jing also greets her and looks around. “Where is Qin Qin?”

“She goes to wash her clothes as there are only few people washing their clothes at this time. “Ay, Jing Jing, you bring breakfast.”

Di Jia Jing wants to say something more but she suddenly she stops. “Ay, this, I couldn’t give it to you. This is breakfast bought by Xing Ruo for Qin Qin. She goes to the self-study session so she asks me to help her bring it back.”

Hearing that Li Ting just says “Oh” and shows her unhappy face.

Di Jia Jing puts the breakfast on Shi Qin’s table and asks Li Ping: “I still have biscuit and milk. Wait, I’ll give it to you.”

Li Ting smiles and holds her: “Jia Jing is the best.”

Di Jia Jing smiles and says nothing.

Last night Li Ting said that this morning she would go to stroll around with the female students from the other class. Someone would help her to skip the class.

So she just eats the breakfast, which is given by Di Jia Jing, and changes into a beautiful dress. She just leaves.

Shi Qin comes back and notices that Di Jia Jing is inside the dorm, she asks. “Ay, JIng Jing, where did you go this morning?”

“I went to jog around with Xing Ruo. She goes to the self-study session. i have things to take so I come back first.” Di Jia Jing flips around her books and says: “Oh right, I bring you a thin pancake, I supposed it’s a bit cold.”

Shi Qin tidies up her clothes, she feels a bit hungry so she is happy to get food. “Jing Jing, you are very good roommate! I’m so hungry.”

“It’s handy.”

Di Jia Jing smiles.

During the midterm, the make up for missed lessons weekend isn’t hard to bear anymore.

During the break, there’re people who discussing about the school’s anniversary.

This time the schools’ anniversary would be held at Ming Li’s big assembly hall.

Ming Li’s big assembly was just renovated two years ago. It could accommodate 1500 people. But for the high school, there are more than 4000 people so it couldn’t accommodate all of them.

So everyone is discussing how to get inside, He Si Yue suddenly comes inside the classroom with a pile of tickets. He stands up on the stage and informs everyone: “The ticket for the school’s anniversary is here. Every class would only get ten tickets. If anyone of you want to go, you can take it from me. First comes first….”

He just says it and then people just come over and yell “ ME, Me ME!”

Everyone just snatches the tickets, it’s gone in less tha a second.

It makes He Si Yue doesn’t know whether to laugh or cry.

He gets off the stage and jokes with Chen Xing Ruo: “This time it should be because you will perform that day so everyone is so excited to watch you.”

Chen Xing Ruo says nothing. Lu Xing Yan just smiles lightly. He says: “Why should they fight for it, it’s only school’s anniversary event. Boring.”

“……”

Chen Xing Ruo looks at him with a gaze “Then be sure not to come over.”

Finally it’s the mid-term exam week.

This time the examination questions are easier than the last month examinations.

After the exams, everyone is relieved and relaxed.

The day after tomorrow would be the school’s anniversary, so after the last exam, at first Chen Xing Ruo planned to go to the music room to practice music. But everyone seems to be curious for the answers for the exams.

Lu Xing Yan looks at how most students are surrounding Chen Xing Ruo. Those students keep o talking rapidly.

He and his friends are chatting with each other: “Chen Xing Ruo is too awesome, she is beautiful and could study well.”

Li Cheng Fan: “Right, don’t know what would the other classes think about her. They should feel annoyed. Now they are coming to find Chen Xing Ruo.”

Lu Xing Yan is a bit puzzled: “They are not asking you the answers, why are you guys so proud of yourself?”

Li Cheng Fan is magnanimous: “Chen Xing Ruo is part of our class, shouldn’t be proud collectively?”

“…….”

“Shut up, she shouldn’t want we to be proud of her.”

Li Cheng Fan is persistent one, he just refutes: “Yan Ge, you are so wrong. Ruo Jie (sister Chen Xing Ruo) is a beautiful and kind one, she is not a bad person like you said. Why should you be jealous of her….”

Zhao Lang Ming also says it.
