For such a determined mainland kid, Zhang Yusheng was at a loss for words.
The Range Rover sped down the street, encountering nothing but green lights all the way... This was the benefit of being in the CT faction.
"Can you tell me now why you brought her along?"
Ye Yun replied, "A shield."
"What?"
Zhang Yusheng and the dazed and confused girl both exclaimed in shock.
Ye Yun explained, "Is it hard to understand? If the organization's target is all five of them or just this girl, they naturally won't harm her. In a critical moment, she can save our lives."
Zhang Yusheng almost spat blood, "That's too cold-hearted! How can you use such a beautiful girl as a shield? What if she isn't the target? Wouldn't she die for nothing?"
Ye Yun said solemnly, "If she isn't useful to us, the enemy's mission target will be one less, and we won't have to worry about protecting her."
The dazed and confused girl's face turned extremely ugly, and she angrily waved her small fists at Ye Yun.
Zhang Yusheng's expression turned dark, "I understand why you're in the T faction. At first, I thought you were different from those scumbags, but now it looks like you're just another one of them."
"You're wrong," Ye Yun said, "I'm different from them. I won't harm others casually, but I won't risk my life for anyone either."
"How old are you? Why are you so dark?"
"I also yearn for the light, but unfortunately, I'm already on the dark path." Ye Yun shook his head, "Believe me, the things that forced me to change are beyond your endurance."
Zhang Yusheng asked curiously, "What do you mean? If you yearn for the light, why didn't you join the CT faction?"
"There were no labels on the two doors. How was I supposed to know which path was good?"
Zhang Yusheng was taken aback, "What two doors?"
Ye Yun was also taken aback, "The two doors that let you choose your faction."
Zhang Yusheng looked strange, "Are you on drugs? There were no doors, it was just..."
He glanced at the dazed and confused girl in the rearview mirror, seeing her pouting and staring out the window, and then whispered, "We all accidentally got a ring and learned about the game, and eventually chose a faction, right?"
Ye Yun was shocked. He looked at Zhang Yusheng in disbelief and was surprised to find that the latter wasn't lying!
"Motherboard, Su Ya, what about you?"
"Boss, were you hallucinating?"
"I also bought a ring from a street vendor. When I got home to study, the ring changed, and I chose the T faction out of curiosity. Now... 555, it's really painful."
The words in the earpiece made Ye Yun's eyes widen, and a question formed in his mind.
"Why am I different from them?"
Seeing Ye Yun fall silent, Zhang Yusheng said, "Hey, were you just joking with me? Did you really see two doors? And there was no clear indication of which faction to choose?"
Ye Yun smiled bitterly and nodded.
"What a bizarre way..." Zhang Yusheng muttered, though curious, he didn't ask more.
On the surface, it seemed light and calm, but in reality, everyone took this matter very seriously.
The subway station in Mong Kok was soon reached. Ye Yun, Zhang Yusheng, and the dazed and confused girl jumped out of the car. Zhang Yusheng smiled bitterly and said to the dazed and confused girl, "Miss KULA, did you hear what he said? Do you still want to come with us?"
"I'm going! I want to see who's trying to harm us little girls." The dazed and confused girl waved her small fists and glared at Ye Yun with her rosy cheeks puffed up.
"Little... girls?" Zhang Yusheng glanced at the dazed and confused girl's chest and looked at Ye Yun.
Ye Yun had no time to deal with her. As soon as he got out of the car, he held the Desert Eagle and quickly ran towards the subway station entrance.
The subway station was already sealed off by a large number of police. Zhang Yusheng casually threw the keys of the Hummer to one of them and followed with his USP.
A police officer hurriedly followed, "Mr. Zhang, are we going down too?"
"No need, stay here and block the entrance. Don't let anyone in." Zhang Yusheng waved his hand.
The subway station was already empty, and it was unclear whether it was due to the efficiency of the Hong Kong police or the speed at which the public fled. Apart from the mess on the ground, there were almost no bloodstains in sight.
The station entrance had lights, but it still looked dark, like the mouth of a monster ready to swallow hearts, exuding an incredibly terrifying aura.
Ye Yun listened for a moment and pointed to the right, "It's over there."
As he spoke, he leaped off the platform and ran towards the direction where gunshots could be heard.
Zhang Yusheng sighed and said to the dazed and confused girl, "Miss KULA, follow slowly."
Before the dazed and confused girl could say anything, he also leaped off the platform and followed.
As they got closer to the gunshots, Ye Yun's shock grew.
It wasn't because of the ongoing battle, but because he realized that Zhang Yusheng was right behind him, not falling behind at all!
Come on, he's a top player in the T faction!
What he didn't know was that Zhang Yusheng was even more shocked. He couldn't believe that despite running at full speed, he still couldn't catch up to that big boy.
The two of them ran at full speed and soon reached the tunnel where the battle was taking place.
Ye Yun's pupils contracted. He was surprised to see a train, still smoking, overturned on the ground, with dozens of armed men hiding in various places, surrounding a black shadow.
In the overturned train, some lights were still flickering, illuminating the numerous civilians inside, whose fates were unknown.
Blood trickled from the sharp edges of the twisted train, slowly forming countless small streams on the ground.
Clearly, such a terrifying accident had caused the worst injuries to the passengers inside the train.
Seeing Ye Yun stop in shock, Zhang Yusheng also stopped beside him and sighed, "When the immortals fight, the mortals suffer."
Ye Yun sneered, "Is that your evaluation as a CT member?"
"Seen too much, heart naturally turns cold."
Zhang Yusheng was about to say more when he suddenly leaned back, a bullet grazing his forehead.
The smell of gunpowder rushed to his nose, and Zhang Yusheng straightened his body and roared, "Can't you see there are people here!?"
"Shut up and get in!" someone shouted from a distance, equally angry.
"Can't even take down one person with so many people, all of you are useless." Zhang Yusheng cursed, took a step forward, and leaped straight onto the overturned train.
However, the man jumped back down almost immediately, breathing heavily with his back to the train.
Ye Yun frowned, "What's wrong?"
"Nemesis," Zhang Yusheng's face turned pale.
Ye Yun's body tensed, and he also faced the train, "How is this possible? Weren't they tracking the hooded man with the white flesh and blood mark on his back?"
"How should I know!"
Zhang Yusheng bit his lip to snap out of his fear, and his USP turned into a Remington M870 shotgun, "Do you have a powerful weapon?"
"Sure." Ye Yun's Desert Eagle was replaced with the +2 Neosde shotgun.
"Let's go!"
In the heat of battle, there was no time for more talk. Zhang Yusheng grabbed the top of the train car and flipped up, firing a shot at the black shadow from a distance.
Bang!
The sound of the Remington's muzzle didn't stand out among the chaotic gunshots echoing through the tunnel, but it was clear that the black shadow, which had been moving like a flash under the attack of several gunmen, paused in mid-air.
However, this pause allowed numerous bullets to hit it.
"Roar!!!"
A strange roar echoed, and the black shadow flashed again, weaving through the rain of bullets.
And its target was clearly Zhang Yusheng!
After jumping onto the train, the tunnel lights revealed its full form. The slender, agile figure, the alien-like sharp teeth, and the long tail could only belong to Nemesis.
"Fire!"
Someone hiding behind the support columns in the wide tunnel shouted, taking advantage of Nemesis' brief appearance to concentrate more bullets on it.
But few hit!
The monster's speed was too fast, like a dog chasing its own tail, spinning and weaving on the roof, dodging bullets while moving closer to Zhang Yusheng.
Zhang Yusheng sneered, standing still and not firing, using himself as bait.
This action clearly enraged the intellectually impaired Nemesis. The monster suddenly stopped, letting several bullets bounce off its black skin, and a few seconds later, its body turned into a black blur, charging straight at Zhang Yusheng!
Close! In! Inches!
Almost instantly, Zhang Yusheng and Nemesis were face to face, the former almost able to smell the foul breath from the latter's mouth.
Nemesis didn't seem to plan to shoot its teeth but wanted to tear this guy who ignored it to pieces. As it approached, its sharp claws were already aimed at Zhang Yusheng's ribs!
But surprisingly, a hint of doubt appeared in Nemesis' chaotic mind.
This doubt came from the mocking smile on Zhang Yusheng's lips.
Kill! Kill! Kill!
Nemesis didn't hesitate for even a fraction of a second, and its overwhelming killing intent turned into a simple, direct action.
But at that moment, Zhang Yusheng, standing on the edge of the train roof, leaped backward even faster, firing his Remington shotgun continuously!
Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang...
In a second, several flames spewed from the muzzle, and the wide-range shotgun pellets hit Nemesis, shattering its hard outer shell and bones, and splattering greenish-black blood!
However, this only made Nemesis pause a few inches in mid-air. The fierce and violent monster, even with injuries, remained determined—kill you!
But unexpectedly, facing the lethal threat, Zhang Yusheng's smile widened, and he glanced down, muttering, "It's your turn."
Following his gaze, Nemesis subconsciously looked down at the tunnel floor and instantly opened its white teeth, letting out a scream filled with anger and fear.
Because it saw, below its airborne position, a human holding a large silver-white anti-material sniper rifle aimed directly at it!
