Chapter 78

**Intense! Focused! Bright! Filled with a resolute intent to kill!**

That was everything Unlucky Wolf saw in Ye Yun's eyes in an instant!

At the beginning, the gun's muzzle; at the end, the center of the forehead.

Between these two points, the air boiled with the aura of death!

"Ah!!!"

Unlucky Wolf, while being thrown back, let out a roar, his body swelling explosively, and his clothes shattered like dancing butterflies flying into the air!

*Bang!*

The sniper bullet collided with the forehead, unexpectedly sparking a few sparks with the sudden change in Unlucky Wolf's body, and was deflected away!

Unlucky Wolf himself fell onto a row of seats, smashing them to pieces, and only after sliding several meters did he get up, but...

The person before him was no longer Unlucky Wolf.

Ye Yun landed, ready to fire a few more shots, but he was stunned by the sight of the enemy not far away.

Unlucky Wolf... this body had completely transformed into a human form covered entirely by a pure silver armor, looking as if the Golden Saint Garment had turned into silver, filling his entire body!

Even his head was completely covered by a silver-white shell, with only a pair of red, flashing eyes exposed.

"v23 bloodline..."

Zhang Yusheng, holding his abdomen, walked to Ye Yun's side, his tone low and angry: "One of the most powerful C-grade bloodlines, I didn't expect him to have achieved full coverage!"

Ye Yun asked, "Full coverage?"

Zhang Yusheng replied, "That means over 80% development."

"Stop talking nonsense! Don't tell me you're giving up!"

A cold wind brushed past the two, and Vanessa had already lunged forward.

"Vanessa!"

"Unlucky Wolf!"

They shouted in unison, and the boxing glove-clad fist and the silver-armored fist clashed with a dull sound. Unlucky Wolf's feet left two marks on the ground, and the seats behind him were shattered.

But Vanessa was even worse off, being thrown back, her slender and graceful body landing on the steps, causing stones to fly everywhere. Vanessa also spat out a mouthful of blood!

"She's right!"

Zhang Yusheng flicked his hand, and a shadow leaped from his body, drawing a parabolic arc in the air and landing with a single palm strike. The wind between his palms was clearly torn apart by the white airflow.

Unlucky Wolf, though half his face was covered by a mask, still let out a cold laugh. He spun and advanced, his right arm extending straight and punching upward, colliding with Zhang Yusheng's shadow palm!

The two clashed, and Ye Yun keenly noticed that Zhang Yusheng had already turned into a shadow and dissipated, while the shadow that had clashed with Unlucky Wolf had turned into a solid form, spitting blood and falling back.

"Is this guy really that strong!?"

Despite his shock, Ye Yun's intent to kill remained. As Zhang Yusheng was pushed back, he stepped forward and leaped again, his eagle-like eyes looking down at Unlucky Wolf's forehead from above, and he repeatedly pulled the trigger of his M40A1!

*Bang bang bang bang...*

A series of gunshots echoed in the hall, and Unlucky Wolf's body was pushed back, but at this moment, Ye Yun realized that his sniper rifle was no longer causing any damage to this man.

"Your gun is useless!" Vanessa and Zhang Yusheng simultaneously attacked Unlucky Wolf, and while the three were fighting, Vanessa shouted, "Your gun doesn't have enhanced bullets or special ammunition, and you don't have any gun skills. Ordinary bullets can't break through v23's external armor!"

"Damn!"

Ye Yun put away his sniper rifle, and seeing that Zhang Yusheng and Vanessa were still no match for Unlucky Wolf, he could only feel anxious.

Although he didn't know the exact strength of Unlucky Wolf and Zhang Yusheng, his understanding of Vanessa was very high. Just a quick close-range punch had already dispelled all of Ye Yun's侥幸心理 (lucky thoughts) after his attributes had increased, and such a woman was still no match for Unlucky Wolf...

In an instant, all of Ye Yun's confidence was shattered.

It wasn't that his heart was weak, but in such a battlefield, in a fight filled with high-ranking players, he, a corporal player with only attributes and a defensive skill, couldn't help but feel a strong sense of powerlessness.

"What are you hesitating about!? Hurry up and join!"

As he hesitated, the two had already fallen into a disadvantage, and Vanessa couldn't help but turn back and shout, "A proud member of the Kusanagi bloodline, are you planning to let us lose and then challenge him alone?"

It wasn't that Vanessa was impatient; in fact, Ye Yun had already noticed that although Unlucky Wolf's v23 bloodline was very balanced, with strength, speed, and defense all being comprehensive, his strength was only slightly better than Vanessa's. In a one-on-one fight, it would take some effort to defeat her.

The problem was that when Vanessa and Zhang Yusheng fought Unlucky Wolf, they were at a disadvantage because Zhang Yusheng... was holding them back?

Ye Yun couldn't help but feel a sense of irony.

In fact, compared to the more straightforward attack styles of Unlucky Wolf and Vanessa, Zhang Yusheng's fighting style was extremely impressive. A shadow that could freely switch positions and move gracefully, with each punch and kick relying on speed and high defense, made him look much better than the straightforward attacks of Vanessa and Unlucky Wolf.

However, for some reason, Zhang Yusheng's powerful attacks always felt a bit off to Ye Yun, but he couldn't quite put his finger on why.

In any case, Zhang Yusheng was always being pushed back by Unlucky Wolf, disrupting Vanessa's attack rhythm, and the two were gradually being pushed back.

After observing for a while, Ye Yun's eyes suddenly lit up, and without a word, he rushed forward.

In fact, his joining the battle didn't make much of a difference to the three fighters... After all, for a novice who had only obtained the Kusanagi bloodline for less than two months, his only advantage was the attribute boost from using the bloodline. However, none of the three fighters were necessarily inferior to Ye Yun in any attribute, so whether his joining could turn the tide was uncertain...

Just as Unlucky Wolf was smirking, he suddenly took a punch to the abdomen from Vanessa, temporarily distracting him from dealing with Ye Yun, and he decided to focus on fighting Vanessa.

The small-scale battle among the four didn't have many highlights. As mentioned earlier, before Ye Yun used his flames, the three were genuinely engaging in hand-to-hand combat, with the only highlight being Zhang Yusheng's shadow that moved up and down.

However, within half a minute of Ye Yun joining, a glint appeared in Vanessa's eyes, and Unlucky Wolf's heart skipped a beat.

Before Ye Yun joined, the combined attacks of the two were fierce but somewhat chaotic. Zhang Yusheng always turned into a shadow and rushed to Unlucky Wolf, delivering powerful attacks (like the heavy punch C in the Kusanagi style, where the shadow stays behind and the main body attacks). However, Unlucky Wolf's v23 bloodline was highly developed, and he seemed to understand Zhang Yusheng's attacks well. When Zhang Yusheng struck, Unlucky Wolf would choose the hardest part of his body to counter (such as his elbow or knee). This way, he wouldn't be injured, but Zhang Yusheng would be deflected away.

Unfortunately, Zhang Yusheng seemed to be driven by anger, and every time he recovered, he would launch a strong attack, blocking Vanessa and disrupting her attack rhythm when he was pushed back... In fact, if Zhang Yusheng consistently used light attacks (operation key + A), the damage would be less, but the shadow would be deflected, not affecting Vanessa. However, using heavy attacks forced Vanessa to be cautious to avoid injuring her ally (Vanessa: What a pig of a teammate!).

But with Ye Yun's joining, everything changed!
