【1】Cultivation: Foundation Building, Essence Condensation, Pre-natal, Golden Core, Nascent Soul, Astral Projection, Soul Division, Body Integration, Tribulation Transcendence, Great Ascension (ten major realms)

This book focuses on the plot, so it may not provide detailed descriptions of these realms to avoid making readers feel like it's padding. Since the cultivation realms are extremely complex and this is an urban novel, to avoid making readers feel overwhelmed by the realm issues, Xiaodao has simplified some of the realms based on traditional levels (cultivation is a non-existent concept, please do not compare it with other materials, thank you!)

Foundation Building: Simply put, this is a process of strengthening the body's foundation to prepare for future cultivation. Cultivators at this stage are immune to all diseases but are very weak and have almost no offensive power.

Essence Condensation: Simply put, this realm is about enhancing the strength of the dantian's true qi, continuously increasing its concentration, etc. At this stage, one can perform some simple Dao techniques, and their offensive power begins to develop.

Pre-natal: Due to the sufficient concentration of true qi from the Essence Condensation stage, reaching the Pre-natal stage, the true qi in the dantian undergoes a qualitative change, becoming even more concentrated and transforming into a liquid state stored in the dantian. Cultivators at this stage have a powerful divine sense, can perform internal visualization, control flying swords, and have pre-natal true qi protecting their bodies, making them resistant to ordinary weapons. With a vast reserve of true qi, they can perform powerful Dao techniques.

Golden Core: True qi undergoes further qualitative changes, condensing into a golden core. Cultivators at this stage can transcend the cycle of life and death, meaning they can survive without eating. They can ride flying swords and fly through the heavens. Cultivators at this stage can call themselves Daoists.

Nascent Soul: The strength of true qi can no longer meet the needs, and the divine sense becomes powerful enough to condense into a nascent soul in the sea of consciousness. Cultivators at this stage can cultivate an external body. Because the nascent soul has a long lifespan, even if the physical body decays, the nascent soul can still survive. Cultivators at this stage are called True People and have crossed the threshold into the path of immortality.

Astral Projection: At this stage, the nascent soul can leave the body and travel through the nine heavens and nine hells, completely separating from the physical body.

Soul Division: Cultivators at this stage can split their soul, creating multiple external bodies.

Body Integration: The external soul merges with the nascent soul, and the external body becomes almost physical, like creating a new person with flesh and blood.

Tribulation Transcendence: As cultivation approaches the Great Ascension, the body already possesses the essence of the universe, a perfect combination of energy and spirit. On the other hand, an opposing force of energy is generated, and the two forces attract each other, leading to mutual annihilation, which is how the heavenly tribulation is formed. No matter where you are, you cannot escape it. The process of transcending the tribulation is a process of violating the laws of the universe.

Great Ascension: Consolidate the fruits of cultivation, gradually accumulating strength until perfection. Then one will ascend to heaven in broad daylight.

【2】Demon Cultivation: Body Tempering, Spirit Communication, Essence Gathering, Demon Core, Shape Transformation, Astral Projection, Soul Division, Body Integration, Tribulation Transcendence, Great Ascension (ten major realms)

Demon cultivation is similar to human cultivation in terms of realms. It's worth noting that cultivators can have flying swords at the Pre-natal stage, while demon beasts at the Essence Gathering stage do not have flying swords but can condense demon essence projectiles for long-range attacks. Due to their innate supernatural abilities, demon cultivators are generally stronger than human cultivators of the same realm.

However, demon beasts have low intelligence at the beginning, making cultivation extremely difficult.

Demon cultivators at the Shape Transformation stage can transform into human form.

【3】Evil Cultivation: Body Refinement, Essence Condensation, Desire, Malevolent Core, Evil Soul, Astral Projection, Soul Separation, Body Integration, Tribulation Transcendence, Great Ascension (ten major realms)

The realms of evil cultivation are similar to those of human cultivation, but the difference is that evil cultivators focus on strengthening their bodies, which is their foundation. They do not need flying swords; for evil cultivators, all their body parts are weapons.

Evil cultivation is a very niche cultivation system because it is very painful to practice, and most people prefer the more comfortable path of human cultivation.

【4】External Martial Arts, Internal Martial Arts.

External martial arts focus solely on techniques and strength, with proficiency and strength determining the level of skill, and there are no specific realms.

Internal martial arts, in addition to techniques and strength, also cultivate internal qi. This internal qi is different from the true qi of cultivation, demons, and evil cultivation. Internal qi is not derived from absorbing external substances but from continuously consuming food and extracting energy from it.

Internal Martial Arts Realms: Expert, Grandmaster, Transcendence, Cosmic, Mastery

Expert: Cultivate internal qi, techniques are proficient.

Grandmaster: Internal qi is pure, techniques are exquisite, with a unique understanding of internal martial arts, capable of creating their own techniques, and can establish a school and take disciples.

Transcendence: Internal qi is abundant, techniques are divine.

Cosmic: A unique world is formed within a three-foot radius around the body, invincible within three feet.

Mastery: Internal qi is versatile and can be released to injure others (refer to Feng Qingyang's strength in "The Smiling, Proud Wanderer").

【5】Xiao Cheng's Five Elements Escape Techniques

The five elements are metal, wood, water, fire, and earth, which need no further explanation.

As Xiao Cheng's realm improves, he will master more of the Five Elements Escape Techniques. The minimum cultivation required for each element is:

Metal (can barely be used at the Nascent Soul stage), Wood (can barely be used at the Golden Core stage), Water (can barely be used at the Pre-natal stage), Fire (can barely be used at the Essence Condensation stage), Earth (can be used at the Foundation Building stage, the life-saving skill is the first to appear).

【6】Other extremely niche cultivation systems will not be introduced here, and will be explained if encountered!
