Sitting in the corner of the last row of the bus, Chu Ying gazed out at the green hills outside the window, his mind filled with countless thoughts.

For the sixteen years away from home, the first ten were spent on the mountain, receiving hellish training from that old man, and the last six were spent fighting battles around the world. The young eagle of those days had transformed into a mighty eagle soaring through the skies.

But even a mighty eagle is a bird, and a weary bird knows to return home. So, Chu Ying abandoned everything from his past and returned alone to this hometown that existed only in his hazy memories.

“Pfft…” A foul smell emanated from the back row, gradually spreading throughout most of the bus.

“Who’s so lacking in public morals, even farting with a twist!” The passengers all covered their noses and cursed, looking back at the rear with unfriendly expressions.

Sitting next to Chu Ying was a woman in her thirties with a rather attractive appearance. Hearing the complaints from the other passengers, she shifted her body uncomfortably to the side, her face showing anger and disgust as she glared at Chu Ying. Her expression clearly told the passengers that the culprit was this “sharp” young man.

Chu Ying wore a wrinkled T-shirt with a faded “Armani” logo, clearly a cheap item from a street vendor. His faded camouflage pants had a few holes, and the cuffs were rolled up to his knees, revealing his combat boots. To her, his appearance was a mix of decadence and nonchalance, exuding a sense of coolness that indeed rivaled that of a “sharp” guy.

“This kid is quite handsome! He’s good enough to take the fall for me.” The woman thought to herself. His short, messy hair, deep eyes, stern face, and slightly pursed lips combined to form a look that could only be described as “sexy.”

“Eat less sweet potatoes, and you won’t fart!” Chu Ying smiled faintly at the woman and turned his gaze back to the window.

The woman was greatly embarrassed. Before boarding the bus, she had indeed eaten a roasted sweet potato, but she never expected this to happen. She had hoped to shift the passengers' attention, but was instead exposed by this young man.

But how could she admit such an embarrassing thing? She angrily retorted, “Hick, who are you talking about? Do I look like someone who eats sweet potatoes?”

To completely break ties with his past, Chu Ying returned to China from the Middle East alone, carrying nothing but the clothes on his back. After a month of dusty travel, his appearance was unimaginable, and it was not unreasonable for him to be mistaken for a hick.

The woman, on the other hand, was adorned with gold and silver, clearly not a nouveau riche or a mistress, and someone who rarely frequented street vendors selling roasted sweet potatoes.

Chu Ying was too lazy to deal with this kind of person, and his gaze remained fixed on the window.

The woman was secretly pleased. Your silence means you admit it, she thought, and continued to chatter, making everyone truly believe that the fart was Chu Ying’s.

Even a clay figure has a temper. Despite his good manners, Chu Ying was starting to lose his patience. Just as he was about to get angry, the bus jolted and came to a sudden stop with a “squeak.”

Five men wearing stockings and wielding razor blades burst in. The leader shouted, “Robbery! No one move, or you die!”

As he spoke, the razor blade in his hand flashed menacingly in front of everyone.

Seeing this, all the passengers were silent, and the woman ended her long tirade, placing her hands unconsciously under her buttocks and wriggling, clearly trying to secretly remove the four diamond rings from her fingers.

“We only want your valuables. If you cooperate, we’ll part ways amicably. Anyone who tries to be clever will regret it!” The leader said, nodding to the others.

The four men understood and split into two groups. Each group had one man with a bag and one with a blade, starting from the driver and moving backward, searching the passengers.

When had the passengers ever seen such a scene? Without waiting for the robbers to threaten them, they voluntarily placed all their valuable items into the two bags.

“It’s your turn, hand it over!” The bag was extended to Chu Ying, and another robber waved his blade in front of him.

Chu Ying smiled, slowly stood up, and raised his hands, saying, “Do I look like I have money?”

Before the robber could speak, Chu Ying pointed to the woman and said, “This lady clearly has money. You should choose your targets wisely!”

“You’re lying, I don’t have any money!” The woman was furious, rising abruptly and glaring at Chu Ying with venomous eyes.

“What’s that?” Chu Ying pointed to the two sparkling diamond rings on the woman’s seat and exclaimed.

“Bitch, get out of the way!” The leader walked over and slapped the woman, sending her flying. He picked up the two rings from her seat.

The robbers were delighted. They had only planned to rob a few thousand yuan, but they had hit the jackpot.

“You dared to lie to me, what’s that smell… so foul!” The leader was about to examine the rings closely but was overwhelmed by the stench. He cursed loudly.

The woman’s face turned pale. Now, who didn’t know that the foul smell came from her? Everyone looked at her with disdain.

“She still has two more on her hand! And on her neck! And on her ears!” Chu Ying chuckled, reminding the leader that this woman was aggressive and her valuables were likely ill-gotten. It didn’t matter who got them.

The woman was secretly furious. In her haste, she had only removed two rings, and the other two wouldn’t budge. She said angrily, “I can’t take them off!”

The leader laughed lecherously and said, “I’ll help you!”

Before she could react, the woman let out a pig-like scream. Everyone saw that her necklace had vanished, and her ears were bleeding, the earrings gone.

“Do you want me to take off the rings, or will you do it yourself?” The leader waved his blade at her hand, clearly ready to “kill the chicken to get the eggs” if she didn’t cooperate.

“I, I’ll do it myself!” The woman, no longer thinking about hating Chu Ying, nodded hurriedly.

The leader’s eyes, visible through the stocking, glinted with a predatory green light as he looked at her heaving chest. He leered and said, “Da Mao, Er Mao, take her down and take your time. I’m going to have some fun!”

“Yes, boss!” Two men came from behind the leader and dragged the woman off the bus, her screams echoing.

The leader turned to Chu Ying and said, “Your turn!”

Chu Ying shrugged and said calmly, “I have nothing. Don’t believe me? Search me.”

The leader pointed to the pendant around Chu Ying’s neck and said, “I don’t have time for that. Take it off, now!” He indeed didn’t have time; there was a woman waiting for him downstairs.

Chu Ying’s eyes turned cold. “I can’t give you this.”

The pendant was just an ordinary piece of jade, but it was the only thing left from his parents. Whenever he missed them, he would gently touch it, making it look translucent and the eagle pattern inside more vivid. Anyone who didn’t know would think it was a treasure.

“This isn’t up to you!” The leader sneered and lunged at Chu Ying with his blade, not to kill but to cut the pendant’s string.

“You’re asking for it!” A cold glint appeared in Chu Ying’s eyes. As the blade was about to touch him, he moved like lightning, grabbing the leader’s elbow and flipping his hand. The blade drew a curved line, and the leader’s scream echoed.

A terrifying gash ran from the leader’s eye to his mouth, blood splattering and flesh torn.

“Kill him, kill him!” The leader roared in anger.

Once he had acted, Chu Ying’s bloodthirsty nature could no longer be suppressed.
