Bathed in the faint light from his phone screen, Chu Ying could see the fierce look on his face and the fierce gleam in his eyes. He got out of the car and ran towards the construction site.

Although Huanzi had no blood relation to him, in Chu Ying's heart, besides Chu Xin, Huanzi was his closest family, his one and only brother!

Now that Huanzi had been beaten, no matter who did it, that person would have to pay the heaviest price!

The workers' dormitory was easy to find; it was a temporary mobile house. Since it was summer and the workers had nothing valuable on them, the door was not locked. At this moment, the room was filled with loud snores. These workers had played all day and had walked back from the town to the mountain, both mentally and physically exhausted. They were completely unaware of Chu Ying's arrival.

Since everyone was male and the weather was hot, there were no formalities. They all wore only their underwear and slept on wooden beds with only a mat laid out. Chu Ying quickly found Huanzi. Before he could speak, Huanzi turned over slightly and asked in a low voice, "Is it Da Ying?"

Chu Ying placed the packed food he had brought back on Huanzi's bedside and also lowered his voice, "It's me, what happened?"

"Let's talk outside." Huanzi got dressed and went out of the mobile house with Chu Ying.

Under the dim yellow light, Chu Ying noticed the bruises on Huanzi's face and the swelling around his mouth. However, it didn't seem too serious, and his heart, which had been hanging, slowly relaxed. But his anger did not subside; it only grew stronger. He was determined to take revenge for his brother!

"Who did this?" Chu Ying asked coldly. In fact, he had already guessed. The person who beat Huanzi was definitely one or all of Ma Tao, Huang Qiang, Zhang Baogang, and Fathead Ma. These people didn't dare to do anything to him directly, so they resorted to this underhanded method against those close to him.

Huanzi chuckled and stammered, "It was quite dark at the time, and I had drunk a lot. I didn't see who did it. Anyway, I'm fine now, let's just let it go!"

Chu Ying smiled bitterly in his heart. Huanzi was like this; even after being beaten, he still wanted to make peace. But he knew Huanzi was doing this for him. Even if Huanzi was foolish, he would have heard from Li Dong and others about what had happened in the past few days since his return. So Huanzi didn't want to cause trouble for him.

Huanzi was simple and honest, but he had a stubborn side. A good example was when he fought to the death to prevent Ah Biao and others from forcibly demolishing his house. If he didn't want to say something, even if Chu Ying talked his head off, he wouldn't say a word. Chu Ying didn't want to make Huanzi uncomfortable, so he said, "Alright, I won't ask."

After a pause, Chu Ying smiled and said, "How have the past two days been at the construction site? Are you tired?"

Huanzi finally relaxed and smiled, "Don't worry. Your brother may not have many skills, but he has endless strength. And Old Li treats us well. In this month, we've earned more than we would farming in the valley!"

"Li Dong and Ah Biao haven't caused any trouble?"

Huanzi nodded, "These people aren't bad at heart. They were just lazy and unwilling to work hard before. But they've been doing well these past two days and have quickly gotten along with the others."

Chu Ying thought that these guys would perform even better in the future, and it would be good to let them get some training at the construction site.

Earlier in the mobile house, Chu Ying noticed that the other workers all had well-developed muscles from years of physical labor, while Li Dong and Ah Biao were all fat and weak. They needed to be fundamentally transformed to become strong.

Chu Ying took out the phone he had bought during the day and handed it to Huanzi, "This is for you."

"I don't need this up in the mountains. You keep it." Huanzi pushed the phone back. Although it wasn't a high-end phone, Huanzi had never used one before, and he didn't really need it since he saw the people he knew every day.

Chu Ying put the phone in Huanzi's shirt pocket and smiled, "I have one, and I also bought one for Xin Xin. It will be more convenient for us to stay in touch."

Hearing this, Huanzi accepted it and asked, "By the way, where is Xin Xin? You didn't send her back to school, did you?"

Chu Ying said, "Xin Xin is sleeping in the office." After a pause, he continued, "I want to discuss something with you."

The two sat on the nearest stone. Huanzi smiled, "Whatever you decide is right. I don't know anything, so you don't need to discuss it with me. Just make the decision yourself."

Chu Ying shook his head, "This is about Xin Xin. You are her big brother, so we need to discuss it."

"Xin Xin? What's wrong with her?" Huanzi's expression was urgent, showing his concern for the little girl.

Chu Ying said, "I plan to transfer Xin Xin to a school in the city. The high school entrance exam is tomorrow. Although her grades are good, staying in the mountains all the time isn't good for her. Even if she gets into high school, she will be out of touch with society, which is not good for her future development."

Huanzi had never thought about this before. He assumed that since Xin Xin was a good student, getting into high school was a sure thing, and from there, university was not far off. Now, hearing Chu Ying's words, he began to think about it.

After a long pause, Huanzi nodded, "I didn't think about it that much before. Now that you mention it, it makes sense. Let's send Xin Xin to school in the city!"

After a pause, Huanzi's face showed a bitter smile, "But I heard that it's hard to get into city schools. We have no connections and no money. Do you think the school will accept Xin Xin?"

Chu Ying smiled, "I'll take care of it. As long as you, her big brother, don't object!"

As long as it was for Xin Xin's benefit, Huanzi naturally had no objections. He laughed, "We'll work harder. We must turn Xin Xin into a golden phoenix!"

The two chatted for a while. Since Huanzi had to work the next day, Chu Ying didn't want to keep him from resting. He sent Huanzi back to the mobile house and said in a serious tone, "If anything happens in the future, call me immediately, got it?"

Huanzi nodded in agreement and asked, "Where are you staying these two days? If you don't have a place, you can stay here. There's plenty of space, and a few more people won't be a problem."

Chu Ying, of course, would not agree. He was Ling Siyi's personal bodyguard, and staying here would be considered dereliction of duty. If Ling Siyi caught him on this, he might not get paid, and Xin Xin's education in the city depended on this salary.

After some thought, Chu Ying said, "I have a place. Don't worry about me. By the way, school is starting soon. Xin Xin will stay on the mountain for now. If you have time, go see her."

Huanzi, of course, was more than happy. Being able to stay together with his siblings was the happiest thing for him.

Leaving the mobile house, Chu Ying let out a long sigh. The matter of Huanzi being beaten would not be left unresolved. He would not let this person off easily.

As he thought, Chu Ying returned to the Hummer.
