Watching Chu Ying's gradually disappearing figure, the innkeeper's eyes showed a look of deep thought and reminiscence, muttering, "He really does look like him..."
Back at the inn, the drowsy innkeeper merely glanced up before returning to his daydreams. Chu Ying smiled casually and walked upstairs.
Before he could even knock, he heard the sound of things being smashed inside the room, clearly audible throughout the floor. Fortunately, it was daytime, and business was slow, with no other guests. The innkeeper also tolerated her antics due to Wen Jing's identity as a police officer.
After just two knocks, the door opened, revealing Wen Jing's excited face. She pulled Chu Ying into the room, closed the door with a bang, and pointed to the lock parts spread out on the bed, proudly saying, "I've taken apart all the locks. Are you satisfied, Master?"
Chu Ying just glanced at them and burst out laughing. The locks were indeed taken apart, but most of the parts were damaged. He hadn't realized this girl had a violent streak; the smashing sounds must have been her using brute force to break the locks.
"Jingjing, the point isn't just to take the locks apart. I want you to familiarize yourself with their structure and then reassemble them. You've taken them apart, but how are you going to put them back together?" Chu Ying always spoke earnestly when addressing a beautiful woman.
Wen Jing's face turned red as she retorted, "You didn't say that at the beginning, and now you're blaming me. If you're so capable, put the undamaged parts back together and show me."
"Watch closely!" Chu Ying smiled lightly, his hands moving like lightning. He casually picked up a few parts from the array before him, seemingly without hesitation, as if the lock's structure was imprinted in his mind. In no time, he had assembled a new lock.
In Wen Jing's astonished gaze, the newly formed lock immediately turned back into a pile of scattered parts.
Chu Ying raised his chin arrogantly and said, "How about that? Cool, right?"
Wen Jing rolled her eyes and said, "Cool my ass. I'm a bit tired and don't want to learn today. Clean up the stuff on the bed; I'm going to sleep."
Chu Ying protested, "I'm your master, you know. How can you make your master do such things? No respect at all!"
"Ha! Can't you show a bit of gentlemanly manners?" Wen Jing stretched, her ample chest almost bursting out of her police uniform, making Chu Ying's mouth water. He quickly swallowed.
"Serving my disciple is a traditional virtue of a master!" Chu Ying glanced at Wen Jing's chest, his hands moving slowly on the bed, trying to prolong the view of the almost exposed beauty.
"That's more like it!" Wen Jing showed a victorious and smug expression.
Chu Ying leered at Wen Jing's breasts and chuckled, "Would my precious disciple like me to give you a massage? I guarantee you'll feel great!"
Wen Jing felt overwhelmed and coldly said, "Don't forget I'm a police officer and can throw you in jail anytime!"
"Yes, ma'am!" Chu Ying laughed and saluted.
Wen Jing, however, wasn't amused. Instead, she looked surprised and said, "Have you been in the military?" Chu Ying's salute was extremely standard, even more so than most police academy students. Only professional soldiers could achieve such precision, which made her suspicious.
"No, why?" Chu Ying quickly covered up, feigning confusion.
Wen Jing scolded, "Don't try to fool me. Your salute is even more standard than mine."
Chu Ying laughed dryly, "Maybe I've watched too many cop shows, and I've always dreamed of being a police officer, so I just copied what I saw."
He sighed slightly and continued, "Unfortunately, I didn't have the luck. I didn't study hard when I was young, so I missed out on becoming a police officer. But if I can marry a police officer in the future, it would fulfill my lifelong dream."
Wen Jing blushed, feeling increasingly embarrassed. This guy was getting bolder. She muttered, "Pervert!"
Suddenly, Wen Jing's eyes caught a pink package on the bed. The words "6th Sense" were particularly prominent, and a provocatively posed woman was on the cover. She picked it up and felt it, finding it soft and squishy. "What's this?" She had been raised strictly and had no idea what this was.
Chu Ying's heart sank. This was a gift from the innkeeper, which had somehow fallen out of his pocket and was now in Wen Jing's hands. If she found out what it was, even though he hadn't done anything, this beautiful policewoman would likely be furious.
"Let me see!" Chu Ying put on a curious expression and tried to grab the pink package from Wen Jing.
Wen Jing flipped her wrist and easily dodged. Before Chu Ying could react, she had already torn open the package and taken out the condom. A faint fragrance spread from the condom, filling the air between them.
Chu Ying's mouth twitched. Usually quick-witted, his voice now stuttered, "This looks like a balloon, right?"
Wen Jing stretched the condom, her face turning bright red as if burned. She scolded, "You perverted, shameless wolf! This isn't a balloon; it's a condom!" She had seen this on TV ads and immediately recognized it.
Chu Ying's mind raced, and he suddenly put on a fearful expression, hugging himself and saying in a terrified tone, "What are you going to do? I haven't even gotten married yet. You can't molest me!"
"You—!" Wen Jing was speechless. This thing was clearly prepared by him, yet he was now accusing her. She had seen shameless people, but never one this shameless.
Chu Ying suddenly realized, "Oh, it's not yours. It must have been left by the previous guest. I'll go complain to the innkeeper. How can he not clean the room properly?"
As he spoke, Chu Ying was about to slip away. He didn't want to face this violent girl right now.
"You—come back!" Wen Jing called out to Chu Ying. If this were to get out, she might as well be dead. She wished she could find a hole to hide in.
"Okay." Chu Ying became extremely obedient. This wasn't the time to talk. He quietly cleaned up the bed and said softly, "Aren't you tired? Rest for a while. We have activities tonight."
"I'm not tired now!" Wen Jing sat on the bed, pouting. She was afraid that if she fell asleep, this pervert might do something to her.
"I'll sleep for a while. Remember to wake me up at eight tonight." Chu Ying fell asleep immediately. At this critical moment, the less he interacted with this violent girl, the safer he would be.
In just a moment, Chu Ying's breathing became calm. Wen Jing looked at his chiseled face, unable to understand how such a handsome man could be so perverted. If he genuinely pursued a girl, would he really fail?
