Several disciples excitedly began to practice martial arts, while Yang Yu hurriedly returned to his residence without disturbing Liu Xueyao. He lay on the sofa and entered the Palm Teaching Space.

The system is about to upgrade.

Yang Yu was very excited. He had had the Super Palm Teaching System for quite a few days, and the Level 1 system had already brought him many benefits. What about Level 2?

Yang Yu was looking forward to it.

"Your Excellency, the Super Palm Teaching System meets the upgrade conditions. Do you want to upgrade now? The estimated upgrade time is ten minutes."

Yang Yu calmed down: "Upgrade!"

"Upgrade confirmed, upgrade in progress. Please wait!"

...

Ten minutes is not long.

"System upgrade complete."

The familiar voice of the intelligent program came, and Yang Yu was excited. The upgrade was complete.

"Your Excellency, the system has been upgraded and the Level 2 new functions have been activated."

"Upgraded to Level 2 and new functions have been activated?" Yang Yu was very excited, "What are the new functions? Tell me quickly!"

Yang Yu was already impatient.

"Contribution Point System!" The intelligent program seemed to understand Yang Yu's feelings and directly revealed the new function.

"What is this new function? From the name, it seems similar to exchange points." Yang Yu muttered to himself.

"Your Excellency guessed right. Contribution points are actually an extension of exchange points. However, exchange points apply to the Palm Teaching, while contribution points apply to the disciples of the Hua Tian Sect."

"Oh, how exactly do contribution points apply?"

"It's quite simple. Your Excellency can assign tasks to disciples through the contribution point system. Disciples accept tasks, complete them, and earn contribution points. They can then exchange these points for items from you."

Having played online games for a few years, Yang Yu understood immediately.

"This function is quite good, but if disciples exchange items from me, where do I get so many items for them? The system wouldn't have such an obvious bug, right?" Yang Yu frowned and asked.

"The Super Palm Teaching System has no loopholes." The intelligent program said first.

"Continue!"

"Your Excellency, contribution points can be understood as a trading currency between you and the disciples. When disciples exchange items from you, you give them items and naturally receive their contribution points. In the system, you can convert the contribution points you receive into exchange points, so the contribution points you have are essentially exchange points."

Yang Yu understood: "This makes sense. How do contribution points and exchange points convert?"

"1 exchange point equals 10 contribution points."

"So, I'm just a middleman, right!" Yang Yu smiled. This way, disciples would have to complete tasks to obtain training resources, and the more tasks they complete, the more resources they would get, and the stronger they would become.

"Your Excellency, you are not just a middleman. For example, the tasks the system assigns to you, you can completely assign to the disciples. This way, as long as the disciples complete the tasks, it counts as you completing them."

Yang Yu nodded. This was indeed a good thing, but he suddenly thought of something better: "Intelligent program, can I assign tasks to disciples? And can I decide the contribution points for each reward?"

"Yes, Your Excellency can assign a certain number of contribution points to the tasks you post, but this needs to be within a certain range. If it's too easy to get contribution points, I don't think that's a good thing; it could be a disaster."

Hearing the intelligent program's words, Yang Yu fell into deep thought. Just like a country's financial policy, too much or too little circulating currency can cause economic problems, such as inflation or deflation.

Balancing this is the most important thing.

"Can I arbitrarily set the prices of various items in the system, for example, the Xishui Pill, which requires 10 exchange points, or 100 contribution points, if I set the price to 120?"

"In theory, this is possible, but you would need to pay the system 12 exchange points instead of 10. In principle, Your Excellency can change the price difference, but you cannot profit from it."

"Damn, I thought I could earn some exchange points, but it looks like I still have to do tasks honestly." Yang Yu sighed, having to accept this unfortunate reality.

"Unfortunately, I must inform Your Excellency that in the future, the tasks the system assigns to you will no longer have exchange points, only lottery opportunities, and the lottery will also change accordingly." The intelligent program continued.

"What? No more exchange points? What do I do? Disciples can use contribution points to exchange for items, but what about me? What do I do!" Yang Yu was anxious. This was a matter of life and death for him.

Hearing Yang Yu's words, the intelligent program slowly said: "Your Excellency, with your intelligence, you should be considered above average, but why haven't you seen through the true benefits of this contribution point system?"

"The true benefits?" Yang Yu was stunned.

"Let me explain it simply." The intelligent program seemed to have adapted to Yang Yu's lack of intelligence, "Your Excellency, there are many things that can be exchanged with contribution points, including martial arts manuals, right?"

"Yes."

"Good. If a disciple wants to learn a certain martial art, they need contribution points, right? And this martial art is obtained through the lottery, without spending any exchange points. This creates a profit. The contribution points used to exchange for the martial art are converted into exchange points, which are yours, and a martial art can be repeatedly exchanged by disciples."

Yang Yu suddenly understood.

For example, if all the disciples spent 10,000 contribution points this month, which can be converted into 1,000 exchange points according to the system, and 1,000 contribution points were used to exchange for a martial art, then these 1,000 contribution points are 100 exchange points, which is his profit.

"Wow, there's this benefit." Yang Yu became excited. If he had 10,000 disciples and the exchange value of the Luohan Fist was 100 contribution points, he would earn 1,000,000 contribution points, or 100,000 exchange points, just from this one item. The thought was terrifying.

"Your Excellency, do you understand now?" The intelligent program asked.

"I understand. I think I'm going to get rich." Yang Yu became excited. Wasn't this the sign of getting rich?

"Your Excellency, please note the current situation of the Hua Tian Sect. There are only 13 disciples, and the exchange points they can contribute are very few." The intelligent program didn't forget to pour cold water, "Also, you don't have many martial arts, and you can't expect new disciples to complete tasks and earn contribution points right away!"

Yang Yu nodded.

In the end, the issue still revolved around recruiting disciples to quickly upgrade the system. However, overall, the value of the contribution point system was still considerable, and the future development path of the Hua Tian Sect was becoming clearer.

"Intelligent program, the system has upgraded to Level 2 and activated the contribution point system. I wonder if there will be other functions in future upgrades?" Yang Yu asked casually.

Hearing this, the intelligent program praised: "Your Excellency is impressive, you guessed it. I can responsibly tell Your Excellency that each time the system upgrades, a new function will be activated."

Yang Yu couldn't help but feel curious: "I wonder what other functions there are?"

"Heaven's secrets cannot be revealed!" The intelligent program refused to answer, which made Yang Yu a bit depressed.

However, the fact that a new function is activated with each upgrade is quite worth looking forward to. He vaguely remembered that the lottery had also changed after the upgrade, but he didn't have any lottery opportunities now, so he couldn't see it.
