The scream was not far from Ye Qing. Turning around, he discovered that the place where free juice was being given out was in chaos, with many customers screaming in terror.

Nearby sales assistants and male employees, hearing the screams, quickly dropped what they were doing and ran over.

Ye Qing also ran over quickly, using his size to push through the crowd.

However, the scene before him made his heart leap to his throat.

The cute little girl who had reminded him not to eat inside was now lying in pain next to the display stand, her left hand stuck in a large juicer that had had its plastic casing removed.

Before he left, the supermarket staff had been demonstrating to customers how to clean the stainless steel inner chamber and the auger. But how could this happen in just a few seconds?

"Nian Nian, my Nian Nian!" The little girl's mother, tears streaming down her face, was in a panic and despair, kneeling beside her daughter.

"It's not my fault, really not my fault," the female employee who was demonstrating the machine was also terrified, her face as white as paper: "I just pressed the cleaning function button, and this little girl slipped and fell onto the machine."

The crowd was full of panicked voices, saying things like "Oh my God, this is terrible."

Several employees who had rushed over were also flustered, shouting to call 120.

Another employee ran quickly to the hardware section, grabbed a common toolbox, and tried to use a screwdriver to dismantle the machine.

A thin stream of fresh red blood slowly seeped out from the end of the auger, and the little girl had forgotten the pain, looking at her left hand in disbelief.

Her mother's desperate crying beside her made her feel lost, and she looked helplessly at the surrounding uncles and aunts, her eyes meeting Ye Qing's pained gaze.

"Everyone, back off!" Ye Qing shouted at the crowd trying to push forward.

The crowd, startled by Ye Qing's shout, instinctively took a few steps back.

Ye Qing quickly glanced at the screws on the machine, picked up a screwdriver from the toolbox, and, together with the employee who had brought the toolbox, began to dismantle the plastic casing.

"Quick, find a bandage or a rubber band to tie around her arm to prevent excessive bleeding," Ye Qing shouted while dismantling the casing.

In the mechanical processing industry, one often hears many cases of machinery injuries. His own factory had encountered such incidents, and he had heard countless stories from workers and his father.

This juicer's design was relatively safe, but because the employee was demonstrating its operation, the plastic casing had been removed, and the cleaning button had been pressed, causing the auger inside to rotate.

A series of coincidences led to an unexpected accident.

While feeling heartbroken, Ye Qing could only pray that the power of the auger was not too high.

The little girl's mother was in tears, pleading with Ye Qing for help.

Two more male employees came to help, slowly lifting the machine to allow Ye Qing to remove the base. The bandage to slow the bleeding was securely tied, and the onlookers were frantically dialing 120.

However, the little girl's hand was already mostly inside the stainless steel cylinder. After Ye Qing removed the base, he found that the auger was completely stuck in the stainless steel cylinder. Forcing it out would only tear off her fingers.

Moreover, the stainless steel cylinder was a seamless pipe, making it impossible to dismantle.

After an initial observation, there were two fortunate aspects.

First, the little girl's left hand had been pulled into the auger palm-first. If it had been the back of her hand, her fingers would have been crushed.

Second, the bleeding was not too severe, indicating that her injuries were not as serious as initially thought.

A man with a manager's badge, drenched in sweat, ran over from somewhere. The situation had already been reported to him via walkie-talkie. He first scolded the female employee harshly, then came over to comfort the child's parents, saying they would take full responsibility.

Ye Qing took a pair of pliers, quickly cut the motor wires, and removed the mounting screws, allowing the motor to be separated from the stainless steel cylinder.

He carefully examined the motor label on the frame, then tried the cleaning button on another machine to observe the auger's rotation speed.

"The situation is not that bad. When the cleaning function is activated, the motor rotates slowly. The voltage is very low during slow rotation, so it won't cause much harm."

Ye Qing gave the little girl a determined look: "Let's go to the hospital first. The doctor will assess the situation. One of you should hold her hand, and I'll drive her to the hospital."

A male employee volunteered, holding the little girl's wrist with one hand and the thick-walled stainless steel cylinder with the other. Ye Qing picked up the little girl and ran quickly to the parking lot of the opposite building.

It was about ten miles to the Zhongyun City People's Hospital. The ambulance would have trouble getting there in just a few minutes, so his Lagonda could save time.

"Thank you, big brother," the little girl, pale-faced, said, tears streaming down her face from the pain in her hand.

"You're welcome, little sister. What's your name?"

"My name is An Nian Nian, big brother... Will my hand be okay?"

"Of course, I've seen the situation, and it's not serious," Ye Qing gave her a determined look.

An Nian Nian's mother stumbled behind them, at a loss.

The drenched supermarket manager, along with two employees, took another car to the hospital.

Crossing the road, ignoring the surprised looks of passersby, Ye Qing ran to his car and had the supermarket employee and the little girl sit in the back seat.

Once everyone was seated, the Lagonda roared out, the engine's roar setting off the alarms of nearby parked cars.

He ran two red lights and arrived at the Zhongyun City People's Hospital in just seventeen minutes.

It was working hours, and the hospital was well-staffed. As soon as they entered the outpatient hall, several nurses ran over to meet them.

The stainless steel cylinder blocked the X-ray, making it impossible to observe the bone damage, so An Nian Nian was directly taken to the operating room, and Ye Qing and the others were stopped outside.

In the operating room, the nurse replaced the specialized bandage and used scissors to cut off An Nian Nian's left sleeve. Two doctors in surgical gowns came out of the sterilization room and carefully examined the hand stuck in the stainless steel cylinder, finding that the auger was tightly wedged, making it impossible to remove.

Using a medical endoscope, they examined the other end of the stainless steel cylinder and found that An Nian Nian's fingers were not severely damaged, but they had turned blue and purple due to lack of blood flow.

"Call the fire department to dismantle it," one of the doctors instructed the nurse to make the call.
