Cheng Dafeng, an elderly man from Jiangning City, is nearly seventy years old. He served in the military and fought in battles, then returned home to practice the Cheng family martial arts, which he inherited, eventually achieving some success. Now, Cheng Dafeng runs a martial arts school called Cheng Family Martial Arts School, where he specializes in teaching the Cheng family boxing. At the beginning of the new century, martial arts schools and organizations began to appear across the country, and the Martial Arts Association was also established. Cheng Dafeng, with his formidable fists, became the vice president.

However, at the moment, Cheng Dafeng is very upset.

His grandson was beaten up.

Speaking of his grandson, Cheng Dafeng is truly frustrated by his lack of effort. Cheng Jin is quite strong, but he is somewhat clumsy, and the Cheng family boxing is known for its agility. Therefore, the family martial arts are not suitable for Cheng Jin, and he has not even learned one-tenth of the essence of the Cheng family boxing.

"Grandpa, can you please reset my bones? I've been in pain for almost a whole day," Cheng Jin said pitifully.

"Pain is good; it will teach you a lesson," Cheng Dafeng said, grabbing Cheng Jin's arm and examining it carefully. "At your young age, to be able to dislocate bones so easily is no small feat. The young are truly formidable!"

"Grandpa, can you beat him?" Cheng Jin asked cautiously.

"Hmph, that little brat is no match for me," Cheng Dafeng said, not tolerating any doubt about his martial arts skills. "When the time comes, Grandpa will teach him a lesson and make him remember it. We who practice martial arts should cultivate our character and not resort to violence."

"Grandpa is right," Cheng Jin naturally agreed.

Cheng Dafeng said nothing more. He carefully examined Cheng Jin's arm, hesitated for about three seconds, then pinched a fine tendon with his fingers. He quickly pulled the tendon, which was clearly visible, all the way to the wrist. With a quick press of his thumb, there was a "snap," and Cheng Jin's bone was neatly reset.

"Ouch, it hurts!"

Cheng Jin bit through the stick in his mouth, his face covered in sweat. "Grandpa, be gentle!"

"If you can't even bear a little pain, what will you do in the future?" Cheng Dafeng said casually, but his eyes became distant. He was still thinking about Su Wen's technique for dislocating bones. As an expert, he could see that Su Wen used a very aggressive method.

"Grandpa, did you figure it out?" Cheng Jin moved his arm, feeling no pain, but he was frustrated that his grandfather had let him suffer for almost a day just to study Su Wen's technique.

"I've figured out a bit, but I need to face him to know more," Cheng Dafeng thought.

"Grandpa, don't hold back when the time comes. Beat that guy to death," Cheng Jin urged, hating Su Wen deeply.

"I know what to do," Cheng Dafeng ignored Cheng Jin and walked to a wooden post, practicing his techniques with great skill. His punches and palm strikes were extremely agile, making the wooden post seem like a puppet.

...

Su Wen had already collected the remaining two Water Spirit Herbs.

After breakfast, he continued his usual routine of doing good deeds. He had had the system for almost a month, but he had only completed one of the three side quests. This meant that in the next month, only one new side quest would appear.

He still hoped to complete the other two side quests.

"Thank you, Brother Su!"

"Big brother, my grandpa says you are a good person."

"Coming here every day to help beggars and even treating the sick ones, this young man is truly kind."

Su Wen was now a familiar face in Jiangning, and almost all of the city's two hundred or so beggars knew him. Su Wen knew that some were genuine beggars, while others were just there to scam money, but he didn't mind as long as he could help those who truly needed it.

In the distance, the sound of police sirens could be heard.

Su Wen looked down the street and saw a long convoy of police cars, with the lead vehicle being a special police car.

"What's going on?" Su Wen thought of what Tang Long had said. "If I'm not mistaken, today is the day Zhao Zhifang is executed. Could someone really be trying to save him?"

He looked at one of the police cars and was startled to see Tang Long inside.

"Uncle Tang is personally overseeing this. It seems someone really is trying to save Zhao Zhifang," Su Wen thought, his eyes becoming sharp.

"Big brother, look at that person over there. Isn't his outfit strange?" A little beggar tugged at Su Wen's sleeve.

Su Wen was startled. He noticed a man dressed in black, like someone from "The Matrix," who appeared to be on a phone call but kept his eyes on the police convoy.

Su Wen made a gesture for the boy to be quiet and took out a handful of one-yuan coins. "Here, big brother gives you this. Go buy something to eat and I'll come see you tomorrow."

"Thank you, big brother!" The boy, unaware of the danger, ran off excitedly with the coins.

Su Wen looked at the strange man and slowly walked over.

The man had an earpiece in his ear and was speaking softly.

"Captain, Tang Long has set out, but we still can't determine which car your junior is in."

"Indeed, as I suspected. Tang Long used to serve in the Dragon Tooth mercenary group and is very experienced. It will be difficult to rescue him. Tang Long is tough to deal with. Be careful, and once you succeed, immediately leave Jiangning."

"Yes, Captain!"

"New information: Team B has taken hostages. You don't need to keep watching. Go and join Team B immediately."

The man acknowledged and was about to leave.

But when he turned around, Su Wen snatched his earpiece and struck his neck with a hand knife.

"You..."

The man looked at Su Wen and fainted immediately.

Su Wen, catching him off guard, quickly subdued the man and then called Tang Long.

Tang Long, in the police car, frowned. If it were anyone else, he would have hung up, but thinking of Su Wen, he hesitated and answered, "Su Wen, what's the matter?"

"Uncle Tang, I caught a suspicious person on the street. He has a gun of unknown model, a military dagger, and a radio communication device," Su Wen said, quickly searching the man. "Oh, and he mentioned taking hostages. Has Uncle Tang received any calls?"

Tang Long's face changed. "Trouble!"

Su Wen was startled. "Uncle Tang, what's wrong?"

"Su Wen, thank you for the information. I just received another call. Wait a moment." Tang Long answered another call, and his face grew increasingly grim. Finally, he slammed his fist on the police car window.

"Chief, what's wrong?" The police officer driving the car was startled.

"They've taken Xiao Yao," Tang Long said, his face twisted in anger and his breathing heavy. He immediately thought of Su Wen and called him. "Su Wen, tell me where the person you subdued is."

"Jinjiang Road intersection," Su Wen said casually. "Uncle Tang, send someone to take him away quickly. I don't have time to watch him."

"Su Wen, Zhao Zhifang's senior has taken Xiao Yao. He wants me to release Zhao Zhifang, or he will kill Xiao Yao," Tang Long said quickly. "You are the only one who can help Uncle Tang now. The person you caught must know where Xiao Yao is. Help me interrogate him, and I will find a way to save Xiao Yao."

Su Wen took a deep breath. "Uncle Tang, do you have time to save Xiao Yao now?"

Tang Long was silent.

"Uncle Tang, if you trust me, leave it to me!" Su Wen hesitated. He couldn't stand by and do nothing, especially for his father's brother's daughter. "I will do my best to save Xiao Yao, but I need Uncle Tang to stall Zhao Zhifang's senior for a while."

Tang Long wanted to refuse, but he was reminded of Su Wen's sharp eyes and the incident that night. Su Wen had pinned a man's hand to the wall, showing a ruthlessness that rivaled his father's.

"Su Wen, Uncle Tang trusts you, just as he trusted your father," Tang Long said solemnly. "After this is over, I will tell you everything about your father. Be careful, and once you find Xiao Yao's location, send me a text message."

"Okay, Uncle Tang." Su Wen hung up, looking forward to learning more about his father.

He looked at the man on the ground and fell into deep thought.

Just as he was thinking about how to get the information he needed, a voice came from the earpiece in his hand: "East Harbor abandoned building, Building 3, fourth floor, gather quickly! Repeat: East Harbor abandoned building, Building 3, fourth floor, gather quickly! Wait for the evacuation order!"
