Su Wen looked at Tang Xiaoyao, somewhat disbelieving. Most girls would be terrified at the sight of a gun, but not only was Tang Xiaoyao not afraid, she had even killed someone with it. Adding to that, she had just thrown a grenade, which didn't seem out of place at all.

"Admire me!" Tang Xiaoyao waved the gun.

"Admire you? Get out of here quickly." Su Wen glared at Tang Xiaoyao. As he spoke, her phone rang. Seeing the caller ID, it was Tang Long. Su Wen looked at Tang Xiaoyao and snatched the phone.

"Uncle Tang, is that you?" Su Wen asked.

"Su Wen, have you rescued Xiaoyao?" Tang Long sounded incredulous. "I just called you, but no one answered. I thought something had happened. Tell me your situation now."

Su Wen hurriedly replied, "My phone just broke. But it's okay, I've rescued Xiaoyao. All seven mercenaries are dead."

Tang Xiaoyao quickly added, "Dad, one of them was killed by me."

Tang Long was taken aback for a moment. After a brief pause, he said urgently, "The situation is very bad. Zhao Zhifang's senior brother knows he's been tricked and is now fleeing to the Frozen Harbor Dock. Our police and military are stuck in the city and can't catch him. If he escapes, it will be much harder to catch him in the future."

"Uncle Tang, what's really going on?" Su Wen frowned.

"Su Wen, Zhao Zhifang was secretly executed last night," Tang Long said solemnly. "Everything we did today was to set a trap for Zhao Zhifang's senior brother. His name is Fang Dahong, the third-in-command of the Quicksand Mercenary Group. This group is notorious and poses a great threat to our country. About thirty percent of the drugs that flow into our country are supplied by them. Not only that, they are also connected to several pirate groups at sea, and through various channels, they engage in human trafficking. I've also heard privately that they are smuggling weapons into our country and even causing border conflicts. As for other evil deeds, they are countless. This mercenary group, which is mostly made up of Chinese people, is a cancer to our country."

Su Wen's face darkened. "Such people deserve to die."

Tang Xiaoyao gritted her teeth. "Hmph, Su Wen, let's go. We'll kill him."

Su Wen was taken aback. He looked at Tang Xiaoyao and said in surprise, "How can a girl like you talk about killing so casually? Fang Dahong isn't that easy to kill."

"Is that so? I'm not that easy to kill either." A voice came from behind them.

Su Wen's body trembled. He turned around and saw a man standing behind them. The man had a crew cut, wore a neat black suit, and had sharp features. His muscles bulged, making him look very strong.

"Fang Dahong!" Su Wen blurted out.

Without hesitation, Tang Xiaoyao raised her gun and fired.

"Hmph!" Fang Dahong sneered. His eyes were extremely sharp, and he dodged to the side the moment Tang Xiaoyao fired.

The bullet missed, and Tang Xiaoyao fired several more shots, but none of them hit Fang Dahong. Su Wen was shocked. Dodging bullets was a common scene in TV shows, but seeing it in real life was still astonishing. The principle of dodging bullets generally relied on keen observation and predicting the timing and direction of the shots.

"Damn, it looks really cool, but if I had a submachine gun, I'd see how you dodge," Su Wen thought to himself.

Dodging a single bullet was easy, but when a barrage of bullets came, it was almost impossible to dodge. At that point, even the best martial arts skills would be useless. Tang Xiaoyao's frown deepened as she became more nervous. The sound of "click, click" indicated that her gun was out of bullets.

"Out of bullets." Tang Xiaoyao stuck out her tongue.

"Normal." Su Wen was unfazed. He looked at Fang Dahong, who didn't have a gun either. The next step was hand-to-hand combat. He had heard that Zhao Zhifang and his senior brother were experts in Xingyi Quan, a martial art he didn't know much about, but it sounded powerful. He was about to face Cheng Dafeng, and fighting Fang Dahong first would be good practice. He felt a bit excited.

Since practicing physical techniques, learning Fenjin Cuogu Shou, and receiving the powerful Tai Chi from Yang Xiao, Su Wen had a lot of skills but no place to use them. Practicing alone was slow, and he hadn't reached proficiency in Fenjin Cuogu Shou, let alone mastery.

"Tang Long will take ten more minutes to get here. You're young and have some skills, but you won't last ten minutes against me. When I kill you two, it will be revenge for my junior brother," Fang Dahong said slowly, full of confidence.

"Fang Dahong, if you want to kill us, you'll have to show your true skills. Tang Xiaoyao, step back. I think this guy's skills are good, and I want to test them out. It will also help me complete a task," Su Wen pushed Tang Xiaoyao back.

"Complete a task?" Tang Xiaoyao didn't understand.

"Have you never played an online game? How can you gain experience without fighting? Without experience, how can you level up and become stronger? If I beat this guy, I might significantly improve my martial arts skills and complete the task," Su Wen explained, making it sound more mysterious.

No one knew about the Great Dao Recycling System, so they could only find his words strange.

But the idea of completing a task was quite fitting. Fang Dahong was like a living mini-boss, and fighting him would increase the completion rate of Side Quest 2. This action was also a good deed, so the completion rate of Side Quest 1 would also increase.

"Nonsense!" Fang Dahong sneered, then suddenly leaped, kicking directly at Su Wen's chin.

"Damn, I haven't even started yet..." Su Wen rolled to the side, and he heard a loud "boom." A part of a container behind him caved in, and the kick must have had the force of several hundred kilograms.

"Hmph!" Fang Dahong retracted his foot and looked at Su Wen calmly. "You do have some skills, and your reflexes are good."

Su Wen laughed sarcastically. "Your grandpa Su isn't just good; he's very good. You won't escape today."

Fang Dahong didn't respond and charged at Su Wen. His punch aimed straight for Su Wen's chest. Seeing the punch, Su Wen used Fenjin Cuogu Shou to grab it, but the punch slipped out of his hand and hit his chest.

Su Wen staggered back several steps and spat out a mouthful of blood.

Fang Dahong didn't give Su Wen a chance to catch his breath and attacked again.

Su Wen wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth. He realized that Fang Dahong was very strong, and his beginner-level Fenjin Cuogu Shou couldn't control his joints. The best strategy was to fight head-on. With 1.4 vitality, he was about as strong as a half-grown adult, though his overall physical condition was slightly weaker than Fang Dahong's, but not by much. After all, there was no such thing as invincibility in this world.

Su Wen used Tai Chi techniques, moving left and right, and used a cross-hand technique to clash with Fang Dahong. Both of them stepped back, and Su Wen felt a sharp pain in his arm. In terms of strength, he was at a disadvantage.

The probing ended there.

Fang Dahong was slightly shocked. He used Xingyi Quan techniques, but Su Wen used Tai Chi, which seemed to have become more aggressive, with explosive power in each punch.

Two minutes had passed, and Fang Dahong knew he couldn't wait any longer. He looked at Su Wen and decided to kill him at all costs. Su Wen also sensed the impending storm. He clenched his fists and recalled what Yang Xiao had said. Yang Xiao had emphasized that boxing techniques must be combined with breathing, and the lower body must be stable. The breathing technique required three long breaths and one short exhale.

Gradually, Su Wen's breathing became even. Each time he exhaled, it seemed like a mist came out of his nose, gathering and exploding after about a second, a very strange phenomenon. If Yang Xiao were here, he would be amazed, as Su Wen had quickly reached a high level of the three-stage breathing technique.

Fang Dahong also noticed something was off, but his approach was different from Yang Xiao's, so he couldn't see the deeper aspects.

"Kill!"

Fang Dahong's speed increased by thirty percent, and his strength grew. He charged at Su Wen, his punches terrifying, each one like a steel file and a hook, each step like a plow and a root, using his full strength.

Su Wen remained calm, letting the punches come and go like the moon reflecting on a river.

Each time he faced Fang Dahong's attacks, it was during his exhale. During the three inhales, he countered, each move better than the last. They were evenly matched. Su Wen didn't realize that in these few minutes, he was actually completing a task.

The completion rate of Side Quest 2 skyrocketed again!
