The Rose Tavern is the most popular bar in the red-light district.

Aunt Rou is the owner of the tavern. She stands two meters tall, with a body as thick as a water vat and a face full of stubble. Shaving her legs and beard are the first and second things she does every morning after waking up. Not only does she look like a burly middle-aged man, but her voice sounds like one too.

However, she is actually a genuine woman, and in her youth, she was a stunning beauty who even had her own pirate crew. It is said that her current appearance is due to her accidentally entering an ancient civilization's forbidden area and being stung by a legendary male demon bee. This caused her to produce twenty times the amount of male hormones as a normal man, turning her into a complete man.

After this incident, she disbanded her pirate crew and, along with a few loyal followers, came to the Blue Sea Planet to open this tavern. The once-renowned Rose Pirate Crew is now the Rose Tavern.

No one knows how much of this story is true, but Guding always finds it hard to associate the fierce Aunt Rou with the legendary beautiful pirate with a terrifying bounty.

Guding’s part-time job every evening is to serve as a waiter in the tavern, serving dishes to customers. However, most people come here just to drink, and few order food, so he is mostly idle.

Pushing open the door to the tavern, it was as packed as usual.

“Guding, you’re late again today. The boss isn’t in a good mood...” The bartender, who was mixing drinks, lowered his voice and winked at Guding.

“In my experience, she’s never in a good mood.” Guding shook his head helplessly and walked straight to the kitchen.

Passing by the restroom, he saw the door slightly ajar. He glanced inside and saw Aunt Rou lifting her skirt with one hand and shaving her legs with the other.

“Never seen a woman shave her legs before?” Aunt Rou raised her eyelids and then slammed the restroom door shut.

Even though the tavern was packed, it was the same as usual—few people ordered food. After serving a few dishes, Guding was completely idle. Seeing an empty seat at the bar, he sat down. “A glass of Milka.”

“Coming right up!” The bartender, named Bartender, is a small, thin man, about the same height as the 15-year-old Guding. However, his bartending skills are excellent, and at least half of the tavern’s regular customers come because of him.

“You like Milka too?” A young man in his early twenties turned his head and smiled. He didn’t look like a pirate at all but more like a nobleman’s son.

In fact, Milka is a non-alcoholic drink, a mixture of dairy and fruit juice. Even female pirates generally disdain it. Guding is allergic to alcohol; a small sip of a 10% alcohol content drink like Binks can knock him out and make him sleep deeply.

“You don’t look like a space pirate,” Guding’s gaze swept over the young man’s wine glass and lingered on the sea-blue gemstone ring on his left middle finger. He began to silently mourn for the other party. In the red-light district, the first rule is not to show off your wealth, or you might not know who did you in. Noble sons are the easiest to make this mistake; being robbed of their wealth is a minor issue, but being kidnapped for ransom or worse, being killed, is a bigger problem.

“You’re not the first to say that,” the “noble youth” smiled faintly and took a sip of his drink.

Several groups in the tavern had already secretly targeted this young man.

A glass of pale white and purple Milka was quickly handed over. Guding took the glass and drank it in one gulp. “Another one!”

“Judging by your age, you should still be in school, right?” the “noble youth” smiled and struck up a conversation.

“Yeah, at the Blue Sea Planet Basic Military Academy. I’m about to graduate,” Guding nodded. The young man in front of him didn’t have the usual arrogance of a noble, which made Guding hesitate about whether to tell him to leave this place of trouble.

“Oh, the military academy...” The “noble youth” smiled and nodded, but a cold glint flashed in his eyes, unnoticed by anyone. However, that cold glint didn’t seem to be directed at Guding but was a natural reaction to hearing the words “military academy.” He covered it up well and asked, “Do you plan to join the military after graduation?”

“No, I want to be a space pirate,” Guding answered almost without thinking.

The “noble youth” was taken aback but then laughed. “Being a space pirate isn’t easy. You’ll be hunted by the Federation Army and bounty hunters, and there will be conflicts among pirates. Joining the Federation Army means you’ll never have to worry about food and shelter. Isn’t that better?”

“The Federation Army has too many rules. I still think being a space pirate suits me better,” Guding shook his head.

“In that case, which pirate crew do you plan to join? Our pirate crew isn’t bad. Have you considered it?” The “noble youth” didn’t mention the name of his pirate crew.

“Thank you for your offer, but I want to establish my own pirate crew,” Guding firmly refused.

“Is that so?” The “noble youth” didn’t seem disappointed but patted Guding’s shoulder. “Then you’ll need to find some reliable partners. No matter how strong you are, your power is limited alone.”

The tavern was noisy, but something strange was happening in another part of the red-light district.

On a quiet street, a female corpse nailed to the wall by a black long stick suddenly came to life. After taking a few deep breaths, she forcefully pulled the black long stick out of her chest and threw it aside. She ran her hand through her long hair, and a small black object the size of a thumb appeared between her fingers. A look of relief flashed across her face as she inserted the object into her ear.

Inside the tavern, the “noble youth’s” wristwatch suddenly flashed, indicating an incoming call. He put the earpiece in and pressed the answer button.

“Boss, the mission failed. The thing was taken by someone else, and we don’t know what force it was. I faked my death to escape and even lost my smartwatch,” a woman’s voice clearly reached the “noble youth’s” ears.

“I see. Withdraw. The Blue Sea Planet is no longer safe,” the “noble youth” said without any attempt to hide his voice, which was clearly heard by everyone in the tavern.

After hanging up, the “noble youth” threw down two star coins and turned to leave.

“Hey, I’m Guding. What’s your name?” Guding shouted at his back.

“Judgment Pirate Crew—Kord Brad.” The “noble youth” paused, turned his head slightly, and said, “I have a feeling we’ll meet again.”

The noisy tavern fell silent the moment the “noble youth” revealed his name.
