Fake 26: Neighbor

And finally, the weekend arrived, but there was no contact from Aoi.

It seems someone is moving into the room next to mine, which has been vacant for the whole time. Movers have been carrying luggage since morning.

Putting that aside, where on earth is Aoi planning to move?

Considering doing activities as a party, I think she will probably move to an apartment within 500 meters from here. However, she didn’t tell me exactly where till the end.

So, to do activities as a party hereafter, will we have to meet up in front of a station or something similar?

Lunchtime arrived, but Aoi still hasn’t contacted me.

At that time, I became anxious, worrying if she wouldn’t contact me anymore.

The intercom of my room rang, which is very rare. Maybe, it is the person who has moved into the next room.

After replying, I moved to the front door and peeked through the peephole, but there was no one.

? What is going on?

Thinking it was strange, I opened the door slightly, sure enough, there was no one.

Don’t tell me, is this a prank?

“Rin-kun”

……Just now, I think I heard my name.

“Rin-ku~n”

No mistake, I can hear it.

I opened the door in confusion and looked around outside. Aoi was standing beside the door.

“Aoi…… Why are you here? I’m surprised you know the way around here well. Have you finished moving?”

“Fufuu. It’s already finished.”

“Glad to hear it, but where? A place where you can reach here by walking?”

“You see~. My new home is here.”

“Huh? What do you mean?”

“Like I said, my new home is here.”

While saying that, Aoi was pointing at the room next to mine.

“Yup, seriously.”

Apparently, Aoi has actually moved into the room next to mine.

It is unbelievable; even so, it seems Aoi, the idol of the school, is my party member and my neighbor starting from today.

“Ah~ if it doesn’t bother you, want to come in? Your room hasn’t been tidied up yet, right?”

I led Aoi into my room, but I’m sure the earlier me wouldn’t even imagine Aoi being the first girl to enter my room.

Though there won’t be anything particular happening, I became nervous.

“Heh~h, as I thought, this room has the same layout as my room. Moreover, it’s much tidier than I expected.”

“Well, I don’t have that much stuff after all.”

“You’re right. There isn’t even a TV. Is Rin-kun a person who doesn’t watch TV?”

“Rather than not watching it…… although it’s a little embarrassing, I didn’t have the money to buy a TV when I just moved in. So, I haven’t bought one since then.”

“Then, is it not because you dislike watching TV?”

“Yes, I don’t dislike it. Putting that aside, have you eaten lunch yet?”

“I haven’t, since my things are still unpacked.”

“If you like, want to eat some? Although I only have cup-ramens.”

“Is that alright?”

“No worries, since you seem a little hungry, just eat it if you want.”

Having said that, I fetched two cup-ramens, boiled some water, and started preparing them.

“Then, what do you usually eat!? I eat cup-ramens most of the time.”

“Rin-kun……that’s no good. It is okay to eat it once in a while, but not every day.”

“Well, you see. Even if you tell me that, I can’t cook, you know……”

“............I understand. For now, I’ll be having cup-ramen.”

“Yup, let’s do that”

And then, after pouring the boiled water into two cup-ramens, we waited for about three minutes and started eating.

“Surely, this is delicious.”

“Isn’t that right? That’s why……”

“You can’t”

Aoi has cut off my food supplies.

I’m sure she said ‘I understand’ just earlier; what’s gotten into her?

In the first place, if you tell me cup-ramens are no good, all of the edible things in this house will disappear, you know. I wonder if Aoi is telling me to starve to death?
