"Allow me to introduce you to the Viscountess Red Lotus," the silver-armored knight said, pointing to the Red Lotus Lady.
"I pay my respects, Lady," Chen Xifeng and the others bowed together.
"There's no need for such formalities," the Red Lotus Lady walked up to Bai Cangdong and smiled, "Follow me, I'll take you to the Earl's residence."
"Sir Silver-Armored Knight..." Bai Cangdong looked at the silver-armored knight. Although this woman was very alluring, she was also very dangerous, and it was not advisable to have too much contact with her.
"You should go with the Lady," the silver-armored knight did not help Bai Cangdong out of the situation but instead pushed him.
Bai Cangdong had no choice but to follow the Red Lotus Lady into her carriage. The tall female knight drove the carriage slowly from outside. The inside of the carriage was exceptionally luxurious, with a pink interior adorned with many sparkling gems, a soft white carpet laid on the floor, and a wooden rack attached to the side of the carriage filled with expensive wine and glassware.
The Red Lotus Lady leaned against one corner of the carriage, her long legs, usually hidden by her long skirt, revealed a section of her smooth, jade-like calf, the graceful curve captivating.
"Boy, are you afraid of me?" The Red Lotus Lady extended her bare foot, hooking Bai Cangdong's slightly lowered chin and slowly lifting his head.
Bai Cangdong quickly retreated, leaning against the corner of the carriage, barely avoiding the Red Lotus Lady's bewitching foot.
"How could I be afraid of you, Lady? I'm just worried that being alone in the carriage with a lady might tarnish your reputation," from Bai Cangdong's perspective, he could see the entire length of the Red Lotus Lady's leg under her skirt, making him involuntarily swallow his saliva. This woman was truly bewitching.
The Red Lotus Lady giggled, her laughter causing her to tremble like a flower branch, "I didn't expect you to be such a humorous person. I, the Red Lotus Lady, am known for my licentiousness. What reputation do I have left?"
Bai Cangdong didn't know what to say and remained silent.
"Now that you know my identity, I'll ask you again. Are you willing to become my knight?" The Red Lotus Lady slowly removed her hat and veil, revealing a face of incomparable beauty.
Her brown hair curled in waves, her eyes deep and dark like a pool, with a shimmering light within. Her skin was fair and flawless, and her slightly parted, diamond-shaped red lips were temptingly inviting.
After seeing the Red Lotus Lady's true appearance, Bai Cangdong's heart couldn't help but tremble. Even before seeing her face, she was already irresistibly alluring. Now, with her true appearance revealed, the allure increased tenfold, making him want to press her down and ravage her.
Taking a deep breath, Bai Cangdong tried to calm himself, "Lady, I am just a common baron and am not worthy to be your knight. Please forgive me."
"Are you going to refuse me again?" The Red Lotus Lady looked at Bai Cangdong with a glint in her eyes.
"Please forgive me," Bai Cangdong said firmly.
The Red Lotus Lady's expression didn't change as she looked at Bai Cangdong and said, "Since you are unwilling to be my knight, I won't force you. However, I am a widow, and my appearance cannot be desecrated by outsiders. Since you are not my knight and have seen my face, you will have to compensate with your eyes."
With that, the Red Lotus Lady suddenly pounced on Bai Cangdong like a cat, her fingers aiming for his eyes.
Bai Cangdong was shocked. The space in the carriage was too small, leaving no room for him to move. He could only shift his body to avoid her long fingers, narrowly escaping blindness.
The Red Lotus Lady, not stopping after her first failed attempt, almost pressed her body against Bai Cangdong and struck at his eyes again.
Bai Cangdong had no choice but to block her, while also carefully moving his body to find a suitable position to avoid her next attack.
In the narrow space, the two silently struggled, each movement precise and dangerous. Any mistake from Bai Cangdong would cost him his eyes.
Bai Cangdong only dodged and blocked, not daring to really attack the Red Lotus Lady. Not only was she a viscountess, but as the younger sister of Earl Daolun, any harm to her would result in a tragic end for him.
However, the Red Lotus Lady showed no signs of stopping, her attacks becoming increasingly vicious and ruthless, as if determined to blind Bai Cangdong.
The space in the carriage was too small, and Bai Cangdong was eventually cornered, with no place to hide. His anger rose.
"Die if I must." Bai Cangdong, with a fierce determination, struck a painful spot on the Red Lotus Lady's wrist. She was instantly hit hard, quickly pulling back her hand and clutching her wrist in pain.
Bai Cangdong, taking advantage of her pain and lack of defense, pounced on her, one hand covering her small mouth, the other quickly striking points on her body.
The Red Lotus Lady's face contorted in pain, her body unable to move, and her mouth muffled, tears welling up in her eyes.
"Lady, I apologize, but you left me no choice." Feeling the astonishing curves and softness beneath him, Bai Cangdong didn't know what to do next.
Killing the Red Lotus Lady would mean he couldn't leave Daolun City, and not killing her, after offending her so deeply, seemed to leave no way out.
"Ugh, ugh!" The Red Lotus Lady seemed to want to say something.
"I'll let you go, but you must not scream," Bai Cangdong slowly released his hand from her mouth, moving away to the other side of the carriage, watching her warily.
The Red Lotus Lady's face was still flushed as she tidied her hair and glared at Bai Cangdong, "You are truly bold, daring to be so disrespectful to me."
"Lady, you know I had no choice," Bai Cangdong's mind raced, but he couldn't think of a way to save himself.
"Do you really think you can control me?" the Red Lotus Lady coldly snorted.
"I know you held back and didn't really intend to kill me," Bai Cangdong was well aware that the Red Lotus Lady hadn't used the viscount-level life essence light.
"Lady, we have arrived at the Earl's residence," the female knight's voice came from outside.
The Red Lotus Lady glared at Bai Cangdong again, put on her hat and black veil, and whispered, "Your eyes are temporarily on your face. I will take them when I am displeased."
The carriage door opened, and Bai Cangdong quickly jumped down.
"Take him to the silver-armored knight," the Red Lotus Lady also got off the carriage, entering through the main gate, while Bai Cangdong was led through the side gate by the female knight.
When Bai Cangdong met Chen Xifeng and the others again, they all looked at him with envy.
"So, how was it, Bai? Was that woman as good as they say?" Chen Xifeng nudged Bai Cangdong and whispered with a grin.
"Don't even mention it, I almost died at her hands," Bai Cangdong smiled bitterly.
"Come on, you must have been on cloud nine." Chen Xifeng teased, "Tell the truth, how beautiful is the Red Lotus Lady? I've only heard that she is stunning, but few have seen her true face. You must have seen it, right?"
"How could I have seen it when you haven't? The Red Lotus Lady just asked if I would become her knight. I refused, and she sent me here," Bai Cangdong knew it was pointless to say more and just gave a vague response.
"What a pity, Bai, you really don't understand the charm. If it were me, I would have agreed to be her knight. Hehe... knight... you know what I mean," Chen Xifeng continued to tease Bai Cangdong.
At this moment, the silver-armored knight entered with another person, and the two quickly shut up. The person following the silver-armored knight was Bai Cangdong's opponent, Mei Wanjian.
"Alright, all five of you are here. Follow me, the coming-of-age ceremony for Miss Xiangfei is about to begin."
Under the guidance of the silver-armored knight, the five of them arrived at a courtyard in the Earl's residence. The courtyard was already filled with many people, almost all viscounts. Apart from the five of them, there were no other barons in sight.
All the prominent figures of Daolun City were present, and some had even come from other cities, but Bai Cangdong didn't recognize any of them.
Although they were supposed to be spectators, Bai Cangdong and the others couldn't see what was happening inside, only watching the crowd from a distance and listening to the sounds.
By the time the coming-of-age ceremony ended, Bai Cangdong and the others hadn't even seen Miss Xiangfei, as they were too far away.
"So far away, I couldn't see anything. I heard Miss Xiangfei is a famous beauty. What a pity to miss such a good opportunity," Chen Xifeng sighed.
"Follow me," when the coming-of-age ceremony ended, the silver-armored knight appeared again and led them to another courtyard.
"Lord Earl, the victorious team from the tournament has arrived."
"Bring them in," a person was watering flowers in the garden, looking more like a gardener than an earl.
"Do you know why I brought you here?" Earl Daolun put down his watering can and looked at the five of them with a gentle gaze.
The five of them shook their heads; they truly didn't know why Earl Daolun had brought them here.
"Today is Xiangfei's coming-of-age ceremony. As her father, I want to prepare a gift for her. The gift I want to give her is a viscount title, and I need your help," Earl Daolun spoke directly, without any beating around the bush.
"Lord Earl, you mean for us to help Miss Xiangfei slay a viscount-level undead!"
Understanding Earl Daolun's intention, the five of them, including Bai Cangdong, were greatly shocked. A viscount-level undead was far beyond their capabilities.
"Exactly, I want the five of you to help Xiangfei slay a viscount-level undead, making her a viscount. This is my wish, and I hope you won't refuse me."
