Chapter 91

"Sure enough, it's a strange fish." Just as the crystal-like blue fish was about to fall into the water, Bai Cangdong spread his emerald wings and flew over, grabbing the strange fish with one hand.

The fish felt as cold and smooth as jade, without the slimy texture of ordinary fish. Just as Bai Cangdong was about to pull the strange fish into his arms, he found that the fish was as heavy as a thousand pounds. He couldn't pull it back, and instead, his body was dragged down by the fish.

In shock, Bai Cangdong tried to let go of the blue fish, but found that the blue fish seemed to have a huge suction force, making it impossible to let go. In an instant, he was dragged into the pond by the blue fish.

"I can't swim!" Bai Cangdong screamed as he fell into the water. To his surprise, he found that he wasn't submerged in water. The blue light emitted by the blue fish kept the pond water at bay, carrying him deeper into the pond.

The blue fish dived very quickly, and in a short time, it had dived thousands of meters. Bai Cangdong could only see the blue light, and nothing else. After an unknown period, the blue light suddenly disappeared, and he fell to the ground.

Rubbing his sore buttocks, he looked around. He was standing on a jade platform. The platform itself was nothing special, seemingly made of white jade, with a diameter of about one meter. At the center of the platform was a pattern of a blue fish, identical to the one Bai Cangdong had seen.

What made the jade platform special was that it was suspended in mid-air. On one side of the platform, there were jade steps spiraling up into the sky.

Bai Cangdong looked around, and the air was filled with a misty gray fog. Beyond the range of the jade platform and steps, he couldn't see what was outside.

Apart from the pattern of the blue fish, there were no other patterns or words on the jade platform, leaving no clues to follow.

With no other choice, Bai Cangdong cautiously climbed the jade steps, moving upward. Fortunately, there was nothing strange on the steps. Soon, he saw another jade platform at the end of the steps, which was much larger than the previous one, with a diameter of at least ten meters.

Bai Cangdong climbed onto the platform, but before he could take a closer look, a white figure rushed at him, and a white sword light instantly slashed toward him.

His body twisted in an incredible way, dodging the fatal blow. Bai Cangdong summoned his dual dragon blades and swung them backward. A crisp sound echoed as something was cut in half by the dual dragon blades.

At this moment, Bai Cangdong had a chance to examine the figure that attacked him. It was an undead creature that looked like a white jade armor statue, holding a white jade sword. Both the sword and the body were cut by the dual dragon blades and were slowly dissipating into the air as points of light.

An object fell from the body of the undead creature, a small blue fish made of jade. Bai Cangdong picked it up and equipped it, and when he saw the description of the small fish, he was slightly surprised.

Blue Wave Fish: Key to the Jade Armor Sky, can be used to enter and exit the Jade Armor Sky.

"Although I know this place is called the Jade Armor Sky, I still don't know what it is. This thing can be used to enter and exit the Jade Armor Sky, but I don't know how to use it." Bai Cangdong tried to control the Blue Wave Fish, but the small blue jade fish showed no reaction.

Apart from the killed undead creature, there was nothing else on the jade platform. Bai Cangdong felt that something was missing.

"Since there is no pattern of the Blue Wave Fish on this jade platform, do I need to return to the first jade platform to use the Blue Wave Fish?" Bai Cangdong thought of this possibility and immediately returned to the first jade platform along the jade steps.

Standing on the pattern of the Blue Wave Fish and using it, the small fish finally reacted. Bai Cangdong felt the Blue Wave Fish in his hand come to life, attaching to his body and rising into the air. Surrounded by a blue light, he quickly ascended. After an unknown period, he broke through the water and fell to the ground, returning to the edge of the cold pond.

"Are you okay, Cangdong? You scared me to death." Feng Xian looked at him anxiously.

"I'm fine. This place is really strange." Bai Cangdong told Feng Xian about what happened after he entered the Jade Armor Sky.

"Jade Armor Sky!" Feng Xian's face showed shock after hearing this.

"Have you heard of this place?" Bai Cangdong was slightly surprised, as Feng Xian's expression suggested she knew something about it.

Feng Xian pulled Bai Cangdong aside and whispered, "The existence of the Jade Armor Sky must not be known by anyone else besides us."

"What exactly is the Jade Armor Sky?" Bai Cangdong asked curiously.

"I don't know what the Jade Armor Sky is, but I once heard Duke Fenghua mention that he envied Duke Daolun for having a Daolun Sky. Duke Daolun didn't have to build his city in a dangerous place like the Hurricane Abyss to easily obtain a large amount of resources. At the time, I didn't know what the Daolun Sky was, and Duke Fenghua didn't say much. When you mentioned the Jade Armor Sky, I suddenly remembered this. I think the Jade Armor Sky is likely similar to the Daolun Sky that Duke Fenghua mentioned." Feng Xian explained in a low voice.

"If the Jade Armor Sky is similar to the Daolun Sky, and even Duke Fenghua envies it, then giving up the Demon Island would be a huge loss," Bai Cangdong mused.

"That's just my guess. It might not be the same thing. Since you can use the Blue Wave Fish to enter and exit the Jade Armor Sky, why don't you explore it further and see what else is inside?"

"Alright, I'll keep an eye on Luo Jindou and the others while I go back to the Jade Armor Sky." Bai Cangdong used the Blue Wave Fish at the edge of the cold pond, and the jade-like small fish came to life again, carrying him into the cold pond and back into the Jade Armor Sky.

Following the jade steps, he arrived at the second jade platform, which was now empty. Bai Cangdong continued along the steps and soon saw the third jade platform.

The third jade platform was even larger than the second, with ten jade-armored undead warriors. Bai Cangdong didn't know what these undead creatures were called, but after killing them all, he obtained a considerable amount of life scales.

After killing all the undead creatures on the third jade platform, Bai Cangdong continued along the platform and soon saw the fourth, even larger jade platform. This time, there were over a hundred undead creatures on the platform. Bai Cangdong used all his strength to kill them, and in addition to a large amount of life scales, he found two items.

One was another Blue Wave Fish, and the other was a white jade gauntlet.

Jade Armor Gauntlet: Jade Armor Set Gauntlet, can repel all evil, Viscount-level gold equipment.

"This thing is actually a part of a set. I wonder what the 'repel all evil' ability does." Bai Cangdong was delighted. Sets were something everyone liked, and he was no exception.

Continuing along the jade steps, Bai Cangdong saw a larger jade platform in the distance and immediately turned back to the first jade platform.

According to the pattern of the previous platforms, the fifth jade platform would likely have over a thousand jade-armored undead creatures. With his current strength, he couldn't possibly defeat a thousand undead creatures. Bai Cangdong wasn't foolish enough to go there and die.

After leaving the Jade Armor Sky, Bai Cangdong told Feng Xian about his experiences. Feng Xian said happily, "It seems the Jade Armor Sky is indeed similar to the Daolun Sky."

"Even if it is, it's useless. The fifth jade platform has over a thousand Viscount-level undead creatures. Even if we all go in, it would only mean certain death," Bai Cangdong shook his head.

Bai Cangdong gave the other Blue Wave Fish to Feng Xian, and the two entered the Jade Armor Sky together. Feng Xian was amazed by everything in the Jade Armor Sky. When they reached the fifth jade platform, they returned to the first jade platform and left the Jade Armor Sky.

Originally, Bai Cangdong thought he would have to wait until his strength grew enough to defeat over a thousand jade-armored undead creatures before the Jade Armor Sky would be useful, so he temporarily put it out of his mind. However, a few days later, Feng Xian entered the Jade Armor Sky and found that the undead creatures on the previous platforms had resurrected.

Feng Xian quickly came out and told Bai Cangdong, and the two entered the Jade Armor Sky together to kill the resurrected undead creatures. In addition to a considerable amount of life scales, they obtained another component of the Jade Armor Set, this time a boot.

This time, Bai Cangdong paid more attention. After entering the Jade Armor Sky several times, he was shocked to discover that the undead creatures in the Jade Armor Sky could resurrect in just twelve hours.

"We absolutely cannot give up the Demon Island." Bai Cangdong gritted his teeth, his voice coming out through clenched teeth. The Jade Armor Sky was like an inexhaustible resource bank. Bai Cangdong didn't know how many more jade platforms there were, but what he had seen was enough to help him accumulate a large amount of resources in a short time, greatly shortening the time needed for his advancement.

Thinking about how other viscounts had to risk their lives to enter various dangerous places to hunt and kill Viscount-level undead creatures, facing all kinds of uncertain dangers, while he, with the Jade Armor Sky, didn't need to take any risks. He just needed to wait twelve hours to easily kill a large number of Viscount-level undead creatures and obtain a large amount of resources. The difference was like heaven and earth.

"Yes, we absolutely cannot give up. If the Jade Armor Sky is indeed similar to the Daolun Sky, just this one Jade Armor Sky would be enough to support your future city, just like Duke Daolun. Even if the city is built in such a peaceful place, it still has resources that are not inferior to those of other dukes," Feng Xian also understood that the Jade Armor Sky was a treasure that could not be abandoned.

"But how can we hold onto the Demon Island? The Golden-haired Pirates have a large force and are not easy to deal with. Our current strength is still too weak. Just the three of us can't possibly hold the Demon Island," Bai Cangdong said dejectedly.
