After being hit by a dirty trick, Zhao Mai instead calmed down. He was very clear that impulsiveness would not help him. The other party's bloodshot eyes and bulging muscles were likely the result of a berserk effect. However, for some reason, this berserk power lasted much longer than he had anticipated.

Later, he realized that Solu was probably not fully berserk, or perhaps only in a state that mimicked berserk. Becoming a barbarian after learning to go berserk also required talent; it wasn't just about getting angry and lashing out. During the fight, he had been overly cautious, overestimating Solu's strength.

With the idea of taking down the half-orc, Zhao Mai immediately took action. For the first time in the entire battle, he took the initiative, using his shield for cover to close the distance with the half-orc. The short spear was held at the side of the shield, the tip slowly turning but never leaving Solu's body range. He mimicked the stance of the 300 Spartan warriors from the movies, approaching Solu in a bent and crouched position.

"It's useless, come on!" Zhao Mai originally wanted to say something like "stupid, come and die," but his Common Tongue was too limited. He could only use such a simple sentence, but it should clearly convey his meaning, right?

The berserk half-orc, indeed, could not stand the provocation. With a loud shout, he charged forward. Zhao Mai saw his chance and also rushed up, slamming his shield into Solu's body.

The spare tire shield absorbed all the impact, but it didn't mean Zhao Mai could overturn everything in front of him. He still needed enough arm strength to lift Solu. So, in an instant, Zhao Mai bent his body, forming a bow shape, and then, using the shield as a base, he used the strength of his legs to lift Solu a second time and throw him behind him.

His short spear whipped back, striking the half-orc's waist, the same spot where Solu had hit him with his dual blades. Solu howled, and in a panic, kicked Zhao Mai in the buttocks, causing him to stumble.

"Damn it!" Solu blurted out, flipping up from the ground and attacking. Zhao Mai, not to be outdone, replied with "stupid egg" in Common Tongue and engaged in the fight.

Solu quickly ran out of Common Tongue, and兽人语脱口而出。卡尔不让他说兽人语,认为那是一种野蛮原始和邪恶的语言。Solu一着急,便忘了这回事,各种污言秽语和满天飞舞的唾沫星子就朝赵迈飞了过去。

With the help of the spare tire shield's cheating power, he managed to hold his own in the physical fight, but he couldn't afford to lose the verbal battle. Zhao Mai's Common Tongue was not even enough for daily use, so he didn't have enough ammunition to curse. Although he couldn't understand the orcish language, he instinctively knew Solu had switched languages, so he didn't hold back.

No language is as profound and versatile as Chinese, no matter the occasion.

His momentum suddenly overwhelmed the half-orc, making both his offense and defense more fluid. The varied curses, coupled with a menacing tone, helped Zhao Mai find his rhythm in the fight. Rhythm is a form of coordination, a way for the body to familiarize itself and better control and unleash its hidden potential. Many boxers listen to music through headphones before a match to get into the rhythm. Zhao Mai's rhythm was hidden in the national curses, or perhaps it just happened to be in sync.

If Solu could have calmed down, he would have quickly discovered the weakness in Zhao Mai's shield. All the impact was ineffective, but if he grabbed the shield and pulled it to one side, it would turn into a simple contest of strength, and Zhao Mai would lose badly. But Solu, single-minded, kept attacking the shield as if he wouldn't stop until he smashed it to pieces! The wooden sword in his hand was not very useful, so he pulled a two-meter-long, bowl-thick log from the woodpile and swung it like a giant club.

Zhao Mai raised his spare tire shield to meet the attack, and the wooden club shattered in the air. A piece of broken wood spun and pierced Solu's right eye. A howl of pain rose, blood splattered, and Solu, clutching his bleeding right side of the face, shouted. Zhao Mai, stunned, quickly dropped his weapon and rushed forward to check. He threw the shield and short spear aside, and a wave of sympathy washed over him.

Before his concern could reach him, the half-orc became even more vicious, landing a surprise punch to Zhao Mai's abdomen, displacing his internal organs. Immediately, the half-orc grabbed Zhao Mai's neck with both hands and squeezed hard.

Zhao Mai was knocked to the ground, with Solu on top of him, choking his neck, cutting off both blood and air flow. His vision gradually blurred, and he could barely see the half-orc's ugly face. The threat of death loomed, but his heart, beating faster, could not pump blood to his brain. His remaining consciousness understood that he had only a few seconds left before he would be unable to fight back. In such a critical moment, panic would only waste his strength.

Remaining calm in the face of danger, Zhao Mai raised his right hand, touched the half-orc's face, and with all his might, bent his fingers, forcefully inserting his left middle and index fingers into the wound in Solu's right eye.

His counterattack was swift and explosive, his left hand repeatedly stabbing and pulling. No one could endure such pain, and the half-orc's brain's perception of the imminent danger forced him to release his grip and retreat. The blood vessels and airways in Zhao Mai's neck resumed their function, and oxygen and blood rushed in, causing dizziness. He could only vaguely see the half-orc's position. As his hand fumbled on the ground, it touched a long, pointed object, likely a fragment of the broken wooden club.

Since Solu had already decided to kill him, he could not leave this enemy alive, or he would never have peace. Zhao Mai had little combat experience, but he had learned the spirit of Lei Feng in elementary school, which included being as ruthless as winter to the enemy.

He lunged forward, trying to stab Solu's heart with the weapon in his hand, but he overestimated his physical condition. The lack of oxygen and the severe injury to his abdomen made it difficult for him to continue, and his charge turned into a stagger. The more resilient half-orc, now blind in one eye, could still swing his fists. Zhao Mai watched as the fist grew larger, but his arm wouldn't lift.

A fierce determination burst from his heart. If he couldn't survive, he wouldn't let his opponent either! He wouldn't harm others, but for those who wanted to harm him, there was only one way to fight. He gritted his teeth, avoided the side, and chose to headbutt the fist. Then, as he bent down, he drove the wooden spike into Solu's inner thigh, where a major artery should be, causing death within five minutes.

Before he lost consciousness, Zhao Mai vaguely heard Reserve calling out, and his body might have been kicked a few more times, but then he knew nothing.
