Bishop Ornoa was looking at me with eye slits that were eerily crooked like a crescent moon, laughing with his teeth showing.

Due to his extrmely high level, he was still a threat even if he only fought with his bare hands and fighting spirit but bishop Ornoa himself couldn’t move.

Maybe his movement was limited when using 《Marionette》 to control 《Beloved Guide; Tahlia》.

The head of 《Beloved Guide; Tahlia》 who fought against the adventurers suddenly turned around, looking in my direction.

Its upper body suddenly turned around and charged toward me with a crawling like movement.

It was a movement that was absolutely impossible for a human.

… Just as I planned, I became the primary target for 《Beloved Guide; Tahlia》.

I gulped down my spit.

I’ve to go all out and land a clean hit, no matter how shallow it is, with my sword to bishop Ornoa.

The 《Beloved Guide; Tahlia》 who was crawling on the ground on all fours leaped toward me.

I turned around, pointing the tip of 《Demon Eater Sword; Beelzera》 toward 《Beloved Guide; Tahlia》.

A magic circle appeared in the air along with my aria, and Beelzebub appeared as if she passed through the middle of the magic circle.

Beelzebub swung her blood colored, wicked looking claws toward 《Beloved Guide; Tahlia》’s abdomen.

《Beloved Guide; Tahlia》’s movement halted for a moment.

Beelzebub’s claws tore the clothes of 《Beloved Guide; Tahlia》.

… No normal human body could stop that claw attack unscathed.

《Beloved Guide; Tahlia》 caught Beelzebub’s hand with her frail looking hand when the latter was about to attack the former again.

Beelzebub’s golden eyes opened wide.

Her attack could easily decapitate Battle Rats with ease, it was definitely not the kind of attack that could be stopped that easily.

… Maybe, 《Beloved Guide; Tahlia》’s physical strength as an enchanted puppet was directly related to bishop Ornoa’s magical power.

I’ve confirmed with Im before that his magical power which showed 【MAG：125+51】 was simply through the roof.

「This little bi*tch is stronger than me!」

《Beloved Guide; Tahlia》 flicked Beelzebub’s claws and looked toward me again.

Her hands were touching the ground again, all four, and started closing in toward me with a crawling-like posture.

《Beloved Guide; Tahlia》’s small hand stabbed into Beelzebub’s abdomen who was blocking her way.

Beelzebub seized 《Beloved Guide; Tahlia》 with both her hands trying to grappling the latter.

《Beloved Guide; Tahlia》 bent her arm in impossible angle, aiming for Beelzebub.

As long as I could land a clean hit on bishop Ornoa, he wouldn’t be able to maintain his tulpa.

All we needed to do after that was kill him.

I readied 《Demon Eater Sword; Beelzera》 as I charged again toward bishop Ornoa who stood behind his puppet.

Edda spoke to me while pointing her sword toward 《Beloved Guide; Tahlia》.

Even if I give my everything, exhausting my fighting spirit and battle art and assisted by Beelzebub, I am still no match for 《Beloved Guide; Tahlia》.

It was a difficult request but… we had no choice but to do this in order to defeat the grey cult.

I mean, as long as Edda and Beelzebub were working together, maybe not even 《Beloved Guide; Tahlia》 could stop them.

Edda was sweating like crazy from her forehead.

I ran as fast as I could toward bishop Ornoa.

Bishop Ornoa glared at me when I got closer to him.

「… How troublesome!」

It should… go.

Though bishop Ornoa’s fighting spirit overshadowed me, he still lost in terms of the number of skills.

Moreover, since his enchanted weapon 《Beloved GUide: Tahlia》 is a puppet type weapon, he was limited to hand to hand combat in close range.

That moemnt, I can hear a loud sound coming from behind, bishop Ora’s face warped for a moment.

From the corner of my eyes, I saw 《Beloved Guide: Tahlia》 strike at Beelzebub’s abdomen, in a mounted posture.

Since bishop Ornoa’s movement was restricted when he was controling his puppet, there might be some opening for me to to inflict a wound on him.

Though 《Beloved Guide; Tahlia》 managed to get back on her feet, her frilly dress torn, and there were many cracks on her body.

「O-OOOO…! Our Beloved Guide, Tahlia is…!」

A thick blood vessel popped out when bishop Ornoa expressed his anger.

The already big hook nose flared even bigger due to his agitation.

His expression became even more terrifying but now is the best chance when he let down his guard.

「Even if you separated Tahlia from me… you think you alone can defeat me!」

Bishop Ornoa brandished his arm toward me.

I used 《Transcendent Toughness》 on my forearm to block his attack, and repelled it to the back.

The impact from his attack sent a shock to my bones. My left hand trembled, and was dangling just like that just from one attack from him.

Though there’s a huge gap between our level, it’s still fu*cking hurts.

Even 《Transcendent Toughness》 was not enough to protect me from his attack.

But… I grit my teeth, enduring the pain and keep moving closer.

I couldn’t take my time to execute my plan, Edda has been risking her life to keep 《Beloved Guide; Tahlia》 at bay.

Bishop Ornoa’s face became even scarier than before.

「… DIE ALREADY YOU DAMN SMALL FRY!」

He swung his arm behind, clenched his fist as he approached me.

Or so he says, but his eyes were clearly not focusing on me, they were looking at the events that were happening behind me.

Since he is also controlling 《Beloved Guide; Tahlia》 , he might not be able to focus on his fight with me.

I can see it, he was starting to lose his composure.

My preserference on blocking bishop Ornoa’s previous attack was now working in my favor.

I readied 《Demon Eater Sword; Beelzera》, and loaded its blade with my mana. The blade cast a pale light.

And then, the moment Bishop Ornoa’s punch almost hit my face, I activated 《Moon Reflection》 while closing in toward him.

I swung 《Gluttony’s Edge》 toward Bishop Ornoa’s abdomen.

I can feel several lights inside bishop Ornoa from the contact with my sword.

This is his magic and battle art.

I found the 《Marionette》 amongst those lights, and pulled it into me.

「TCH! Shitty brat… very well, you should be dead from the previous attack but, now I’m gonna skin you alive. You, really have angered m-」

Bishop Ornoa retreated while pressing the open wound on his abdomen with his hand.

Expression vanished from his face.

I looked at the situation behind my back from the edge of my field of view and confirmed that 《Beloved Guide; Tahlia》 who fought Edda and Beelzebub a moment ago had already collapsed.

It was just a reckless plan but… we managed to stop that dangerous doll.

The link between 《Beloved Guide; Tahlia》 and Bishop Ornoa has been severed.
