Chapter 1

Hello Guys, it’s Nefarian here.

Like I mentioned in my past few posts, I’ve been trying to get more active and get additional translators on board to help with revitalising old novels and also to recruit new talented and committed people. I wanted to introduce a translator that will be joining Light Novels Translations along with a new novel that he will be translating: The 5000 Year Old Herbivorous Dragon!!

To give a sneak peek of the Web Novel our new Translator Luk2048 has written a brief synopsis:

Saying 5000 year old dragon has an impressive ring to it, yet that dragon was an extremely harmless, herbivorous being. However, because of his uselessly giant figure and scary appearance, he was mistaken for the Devil King’s executive and provided by the nearby village with a sacrificial maiden.

Fundamentally cowardly and timid dragon tried to send her away, but the extremely enthusiastic sacrifice didn’t want to give up. Inevitably, he lied: “Okay, I just ate a small portion of your soul, so you can go back already.”, but the maiden with outrageous assumptions has misunderstood that she became the dragon’s kin.

Then, out of all things, she begins to manifest strange power on the basis of her wrong assumptions – in turn, the helpless dragon, by some mistake starts a rebellion against the Devil King.

Rebellion or whatnot, he wasn’t even his subordinate in the first place.

Before we get started Luk2048 has a couple of words he wished to say to the readers:

Hello! My name is Luke and I’m a new translator picking up this project. I’d like to improve quickly, so I’d really appreciate any comments, be it criticism, grammar fixes, sentence structure, writing style suggestions etc. Naturally comments discussing the story are appreciated too!

Regarding the schedule, I’ll be starting off slowly but steadily with 1 chapter each Wednesday. I hope to get the hang of it soon and crank up the release rate. However, I don’t want to make any promises yet.

The story has a lot of quality humour and absurdity, just the way I like it, so I hope you guys will come to love it too! Without further ado, enjoy!
