The morning passed quickly, and by the time it was time to order lunch, as the new intern, Li Feng naturally took on the task of buying lunch.

Taking the hundred yuan from Xu Yingying, Li Feng went to a dining hall across the square and ordered four dishes, one soup, and four boxed meals as instructed by Xu Yingying. Just before paying, Li Feng thought for a moment and added two more boxed meals for himself: "Boss, please charge these two separately."

"Charge separately? Sure!" The dining hall owner was a bit puzzled. Why would someone buying fast food want to charge two boxed meals separately? But despite his confusion, he quickly calculated the price for Li Feng.

After paying and getting the receipt, Li Feng returned to the pet shop.

Hearing this, Dai Wanjie frowned, his tone tinged with accusation, "Didn't Sister Xu tell you? Four dishes, one soup, and four boxed meals is the standard for work meals."

Li Feng replied calmly, "I have a bigger appetite."

"Ah, I see!" Dai Wanjie's face showed a look of realization, but his eyes twinkled with a hint of mockery, "So, is that why you're called a 'big student'—because you have a big appetite?"

Li Feng's brows furrowed slightly. He clearly sensed the hostility from the other man but didn't understand why there was such animosity on their first meeting.

Seeing the two about to argue, Xu Xiaomei quickly intervened, "Alright, alright, don't argue. It's just two extra boxed meals. What's the big deal?"

Seeing Xu Xiaomei clearly siding with Li Feng, Dai Wanjie felt even more annoyed, "Xiaomei, you can't say that. If we all start buying three boxed meals, Sister Xu's shop will go bankrupt in no time!"

Li Feng didn't understand why the other man was targeting him so randomly, but being new, he didn't want to start a conflict. He silently took out the change from his pocket, along with the receipt, and placed them on the table, "Xiaomei, Sister Xu said to give the change to you, and here's the receipt. Don't worry, I paid for these two extra boxed meals myself. I won't bankrupt the boss."

As he said this, Li Feng looked at Dai Wanjie, as if to say, "Do you have anything else to say?"

Dai Wanjie clearly didn't expect Li Feng to pay for the extra meals himself, and his face showed a hint of embarrassment.
