"Right! Where's Dudu? Where's my Dudu?"

Chen Yushu immediately stumbled to her feet and ran around the living room in a panic, finally spotting her shih tzu, Dudu, convulsing and unconscious in a corner near the kitchen.

"Dudu! My Dudu!" Seeing this, Chen Yushu could no longer hold back her tears and immediately ran over.

Since her divorce, Chen Yushu had lived with Dudu for six years. Over these six years, she had come to regard Dudu as a family member, even as her own child!

Earlier, when the intruder broke into the house, Dudu had tried to protect her and was kicked by the intruder. At the time, Chen Yushu had thought Dudu's injuries were not severe because he could still make sounds. But now, seeing Dudu in such a critical state, she was overwhelmed with grief.

"Hold on, don't move!" At that moment, Li Feng's voice came from behind her. "Sister Yushu, don't move Dudu yet. Let me check him first!"

"Huh?" Chen Yushu was taken aback, then remembered that Li Feng had mentioned he was an intern veterinarian. Hope flickered in her eyes.

"Don't worry, I'll do my best!" Li Feng gently patted Chen Yushu's hand and then moved to Dudu's side.

"Hmm, the right hind leg is probably broken!" At first glance, Li Feng noticed that one of Dudu's hind legs was abnormally bent. "Let me check the other parts too!"

Li Feng gently examined Dudu's other three legs, paying close attention to his reactions. After confirming that only the leg bone was broken, he gently pressed Dudu's abdomen to check for internal injuries.

After a thorough examination, Li Feng initially determined that there was no internal bleeding, which relieved him somewhat. However, the situation was still serious. The fracture in the right hind leg seemed to be compressing an artery, causing a blockage. Without the necessary equipment, Li Feng knew the extent of the fracture and the condition of the broken bones. If he acted rashly, he could worsen Dudu's condition, and small bone fragments could pierce the major artery in the leg, causing severe bleeding. That would be disastrous!

As Li Feng stared at Dudu's broken right leg, wishing for an X-ray machine, a warm current suddenly flowed into his eyes. He felt a warmth in his eyes, and a strange image slowly appeared before him.

Under Li Feng's gaze, Dudu's right leg gradually faded away, leaving only a white bone-like structure. As Li Feng's eyes moved, he saw that the shih tzu had transformed into a skeletal dog!

"Damn!" Startled, Li Feng's hand, which was pressing on Dudu's right leg, jerked back as if pricked by a needle, and he instinctively jumped to his feet.

"Ah?! Li Feng, what's wrong?" Chen Yushu, who had been crying, was startled by Li Feng's sudden jump. Her tears stopped abruptly. "Is Dudu beyond saving?"

"Huh?" Hearing Chen Yushu's voice, Li Feng snapped back to reality. When he looked around again, his vision had returned to normal, and Dudu was still lying there, trembling.

"Damn, did I just see a ghost?!" Li Feng's heart raced, but seeing Chen Yushu's worried face, he decided not to mention what he had seen. Instead, he gently comforted her, "Don't worry, Sister Yushu. Dudu is fine. He just has a broken leg. We can set it right."

"Really?" Chen Yushu breathed a sigh of relief, and a smile of joy appeared on her tear-streaked face. "Then, Li Feng, please set his leg right!"

"Sister Yushu, here, this is an antibiotic. Give it to Dudu in the dosage for a child for two days." After doing all this, Li Feng took a box of antibiotics from his bag and handed it to Chen Yushu.
