"Ah!" The three robbers were taken aback. No matter how they heard it, it didn't seem right. It seemed like they should be the ones in a hurry.

As for Isabel, she looked at Xu Jianxing with a strange expression and cautiously asked, "Mr. Xu, you don't have a history of mental illness, do you?"

Upon hearing this, the three robbers also seemed to understand. Perhaps only a mental illness could explain such abnormal behavior. They instinctively moved a bit further away from Xu Jianxing, carefully guarding themselves as if afraid that Xu Jianxing might suddenly pounce and bite them. Of course, they did this because Xu Jianxing was too calm, and they had to be cautious to avoid any accidents.

This made Xu Jianxing feel a bit helpless, and he said helplessly, "Miss Isabel, I can assure you that I am very normal."

"Generally, people with mental illness say the same thing," Isabel muttered cautiously.

This also earned the agreement of the three robbers. However, they didn't have the time to argue further. If the police came, they would have nowhere to hide. The muscular man waved his hand and said, "Hurry up, you go first."

"Okay," Isabel, though afraid, remained relatively calm due to her unusual background.

As for Xu Jianxing, he didn't care at all. He walked ahead with a nonchalant expression. If he knew how to deal with these kidnappers, he would have acted long ago.

It's not that Xu Jianxing was afraid of killing. After experiencing the TV series "Nine Heavens Road," he had no aversion to killing. He just didn't know why these three were robbing and whether they deserved to die. So, he was patiently dealing with them, planning to observe their behavior before making a decision.

Seeing Xu Jianxing walk ahead, Isabel, though worried about his mental state, quickly followed. She felt relatively safer by his side. Curiously, she asked, "Mr. Xu, how did you end up here?"

"My home is right there. If I don't come here, where else would I go?" Xu Jianxing pointed to the house at the end of the small path and said with a smile.

"Oh, that's quite a coincidence," Isabel said, though she still had some doubts. However, she didn't suspect too much. After all, with that one billion, Xu Jianxing shouldn't take such a big risk to kidnap her. Of course, it wasn't impossible that he was extremely greedy.

The three kidnappers completely believed Xu Jianxing, thinking it was just a coincidence.

At the same time, Xu Jianxing glanced at Isabel but didn't say more. He could imagine that she was still suspicious.

After walking a few steps, the muscular man coldly said to Xu Jianxing, "By the way, hand over your phone."

"Here you go," Xu Jianxing shrugged, took out his phone from his pocket, and threw it over.

The muscular man, satisfied with Xu Jianxing's cooperation, nodded and turned off the phone. He then opened the bag in his hand and put the phone inside.

After about thirty minutes of walking, under the orders of the three kidnappers, they walked further into the wilderness and finally arrived at a secluded wooden cabin in the forest that the kidnappers had prepared.

The muscular man waved his hand and said, "Alright, we can rest now. Xiao San, go get the rope and tie them up."

"Can I have some water first?" Isabel panted, having walked a long way on the mountain path, feeling thirsty, scared, and exhausted. If she hadn't been worried about the kidnappers having ulterior motives, she would have collapsed on the ground long ago.

"Sure," the muscular man nodded and said to the thin man, "Skinny, go get two bottles of water and don't forget the rope."

"Okay, boss," the thin man replied and entered the cabin. Soon, he came out with the rope and two bottles of water, giving one to Xu Jianxing and one to Isabel. He said, "Behave yourself and don't try any tricks."

"Do you think we can pull off any tricks in our condition?" Xu Jianxing said, then calmly asked, "I assume you kidnapped us for money. Will you let us go once you get what you want?"

"Let go?" The three kidnappers' eyes flashed with a cunning light. The muscular man chuckled, "Of course, we'll let you go. We're after money, not your lives. You can rest assured."

"Haha," Xu Jianxing's eyes flashed with a cold light. If his senses hadn't failed him, the three kidnappers all showed a hint of murderous intent. In the past, he might not have noticed, but after breaking through to the innate stage, he was confident he hadn't sensed it wrong.

Xu Jianxing said coolly, "What guarantee do you have? If we give you the money and end up dead, wouldn't that be a tragic end?"

"You'll have to take a gamble," the muscular man said with a cruel look in his eyes. "If you win, you'll live. If you lose, you'll die. If you don't gamble, you'll die quickly."

"Haha," Xu Jianxing laughed and shrugged. A thought crossed his mind, and three pebbles appeared in his hand. He said calmly, "Unfortunately, I don't like gambling on things I can't control."

"Uh," the muscular man was taken aback and then burst out laughing, "What makes you think you have the right to refuse? If you don't behave, you'll die."

As he said "die," the muscular man suddenly raised his gun. However, his speed, though fast for an ordinary person, was slow in Xu Jianxing's eyes.

"Whoosh!"

Xu Jianxing smiled coldly, flipped his palm, and flicked a pebble. It shot out like a meteor, striking the muscular man's wrist with lightning speed.

"Ah!"

The muscular man screamed in pain, clutching his wrist as the gun fell to the ground. Blood flowed from his wrist.

The pebble, after piercing the muscular man's wrist, continued to fly and hit a tree, exploding with a loud bang.

Although these events happened in an instant, everyone present saw what happened. They had been paying attention to the conversation between Xu Jianxing and the muscular man.

The only thing they didn't see was how Xu Jianxing moved. Even so, Isabel was shocked to the core.

The other two kidnappers, though extremely agitated, quickly recovered and raised their guns. However, as they lifted their hands,

"Whoosh, whoosh!"

Two more pebbles shot out, striking the wrists of the last two kidnappers. Their wrists were pierced, and they screamed in pain as their guns fell to the ground.

This sudden turn of events shocked Isabel and the three kidnappers. At this moment, they realized they had encountered a master of hidden weapons. If Xu Jianxing knew their thoughts, he would have scoffed. If he wanted to, he could have achieved the same result using his true qi.

However, the three kidnappers didn't know Xu Jianxing's true abilities. They exchanged glances, and their eyes flashed with murderous intent.

It wasn't that they weren't afraid, but they knew today's situation couldn't end well. Even if the young man didn't kill them, if they were handed over to the police, they would face the death penalty for their crimes.

They also held a glimmer of hope that Xu Jianxing had used some mechanism to launch the hidden weapons. This would give them a significant advantage and even allow them to turn the tables.

So, after exchanging glances, their eyes filled with even more murderous intent. They leaped at Xu Jianxing, their steps steady despite their injuries.

However, they were disappointed.

They saw a blur in front of them, and then their heads were struck with a force like a thunderbolt. In a moment of intense pain, they were kicked away and crashed into a tree, falling unconscious.

Isabel's beautiful eyes widened in shock and joy, her lips slightly parted, making her look very alluring.

When Xu Jianxing picked up the three guns from the ground and threw them together, Isabel came to her senses. Her face flushed with excitement, and she ran to Xu Jianxing, "Hero, you must be a hero from the legends of the Dragon Kingdom."

Xu Jianxing was taken aback, "Hero, what a joke."

The term "hero" now carried more of a teasing connotation, not the noble concept of ancient times.

Xu Jianxing shook his head with a bitter smile, "Isabel, just call me Mr. Xu. I can't live up to the title of hero."

"Then should I call you Young Hero?" Isabel asked persistently.

Xu Jianxing was speechless. Seeing his expression, Isabel giggled, "Mr. Xu is so amusing."

"I'm not amusing at all," Xu Jianxing rolled his eyes. He realized Isabel was teasing him.

"How can you not be? I find you very amusing," Isabel said with a coquettish tone. After saying such an ambiguous statement, her cheeks flushed red, as was typical of her Western openness.

Faced with such repeated "provocation," Xu Jianxing smiled slyly and whispered, "Do you want to try and see if I'm really amusing? I can provide the most primitive form of communication for free."

Such a bold statement made Isabel's face turn red, and she muttered, "Pervert!"

Xu Jianxing laughed heartily, "I like the title of pervert. If a man isn't a pervert to a woman, is he still a man? Do you like men who aren't perverts?"

"Shameless, really shameless," Isabel's cheeks flushed with embarrassment, but she wasn't one to back down. She smiled coquettishly and whispered, "I heard an ancient saying in the Dragon Kingdom: 'Thank you, hero, for saving me. I have nothing to offer in return, but I can offer my body.' If Mr. Xu doesn't mind, I can consider it."
