Driving to Hollywood Boulevard, Chen Tian found a parking spot and parked the car. Then he and Kate went to browse in a clothing store. Strolling down the bustling street, the two of them clearly overlooked the fact that their popularity had skyrocketed. It wasn't long before they were discovered by several reporters who began to follow and take photos non-stop.

"There are reporters!"

Kate noticed several reporters taking photos behind them and felt a bit nervous. "Honey, how does my makeup look? I hope these reporters don't make me look too bad."

After all, she was in the business, and Kate knew how to hook Chen Tian's arm and quickly pose as naturally as possible.

Chen Tian smiled and gently tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear. "You look beautiful. Ignore them. I'm a bit afraid they'll follow us all the way. Let's go quickly." He pulled her hand and walked into the store. Looking at the huge signs of luxury brand stores in front of him, he muttered, "What should we buy?"

Seeing him looking around, as if he rarely went shopping, Kate smiled and said, "Let me decide. I think any woman can't resist beautiful clothes, and your mother-in-law should be no exception. As for your father-in-law, what about a Swiss luxury watch? What do your grandmother and grandfather need?"

Chen Tian thought for a moment, looking frustrated. "They seem to have everything. Forget it, I don't have any ideas. It's up to you." They were on this trip to get gifts for Chen Tian's family, as Kate was about to travel to China.

Hearing this, Kate confidently led the way. "Leave it to me. This Hollywood street is a famous gold mine. I've wanted to shop here for a long time, but I always restrained myself. I was afraid that after a morning of shopping, I wouldn't have money for dinner when I got back."

"That sounds pitiful. Are you going to tell me a story about the little girl selling matches?" Chen Tian smiled. "Kate, you can come every day and use my card."

Kate gave him a look and insisted, "No way. We agreed that I would buy the gifts, so I must use my credit card."

Chen Tian shrugged, indifferent.

The two of them spent the whole day shopping, providing plenty of material for Hollywood entertainment tabloids. After all, a handsome man and a beautiful woman were quite a sight. The next morning, the two young people were still entangled in bed, with Chen Tian's large hands unconsciously sliding over Kate's curvaceous body. Kate made a few humming sounds from her nose, unwilling to get up.

The alarm clock rang again, and Chen Tian patted her buttocks. "It's time to go, or the flight will be canceled, and we can't keep Mr. Lawrence waiting."

Kate lifted her head, pouted, and found Chen Tian's face, giving him a long kiss before reluctantly getting up. "Honey, I'll miss you."

Chen Tian was aroused again, but before he could make a move, Kate had already jumped up, making him roll his eyes. After personally seeing Kate and the others off at the airport and returning to his solitary life, he felt the house was a bit empty. He could only focus on his work.

...

Charlize Theron quickly turned down the other auditions her agent had arranged and came to the location designated by Matrix Company, which was a photography studio.

Spielberg did not reject Chen Tian's proposal to change one of the computer-generated characters to a female. He agreed to see the effect first, so he was also present that day. When he saw Charlize's face, he understood.

This actress was indeed very beautiful. She played Chen Tian's wife, Anna, in his previous film, "The Sixth Sense." She came from South Africa and was as dazzling as a South African diamond, no wonder Chen was smitten.

He gave Chen Tian a teasing look, which left Chen Tian puzzled.

"Director, what should I do?" Charlize was a bit nervous, not expecting Spielberg to be there.

Chen Tian explained, "You play a computer-generated character with few expressions, cold and unemotional, with more action scenes... Let's try the costume first."

"Okay." Charlize smiled sweetly at him.

The costume designer was James Acheson, who had won the Oscar for Best Costume Design three times in 1987, 1988, and 1996. The films that won him the awards were "The Last Emperor," "Dangerous Liaisons," and "Restoration."

He was not easy to invite, and he originally wanted to take a break. Spielberg had to call him to get him to come. Chen Tian handed him some hand-drawn designs, and he only needed one look to draw more precise design diagrams. He corrected all of Chen Tian's designs that did not meet the standards. The newly made costumes also met his satisfaction. Chen Tian originally wanted to wear a white shirt under the trench coat, but James criticized the color combination, so he changed it back to black.

The original design was black, and Chen Tian was not a professional in costume design, so he did not insist. On the contrary, James appreciated the few designs Chen Tian had drawn. "Very cool costume design, the suit design is very fashionable. It's hard to imagine you've never studied costume design. Especially your cape design, which has an Eastern warrior style, giving me some inspiration."

Chen Tian was embarrassed.

Charlize quickly changed into the costume, wearing a female business suit. The white shirt under her chest made her even more charming. The cool black high heels clicked on the floor, and the flared trousers were very casual. Her long golden hair was neatly combed back.

She was indeed a beauty, but when she posed a few times, Chen Tian and Spielberg couldn't help but frown.

"Stop." Chen Tian called out.

"Wh... What's wrong?" Charlize was a bit nervous.

Chen Tian did not answer, but discussed with Spielberg. "Director, I think there's a problem. What do you think?"

"Her face is too sweet; she doesn't look like an agent or a killer."

Spielberg suggested, "Isn't there a pair of sunglasses? Find a suitable pair for her to wear."

Charlize nervously put on the sunglasses, and her expression became a bit stiff. Poor thing, she didn't even know the character's personality or what specific expressions she should make. But these stiff expressions helped her, and the sweet face was somewhat covered by the sunglasses.

Spielberg and Chen Tian exchanged glances and nodded slightly.

Spielberg looked at his watch and said, "It's almost dinner time. I promised to have dinner with my family, so I won't stay any longer. See you at DreamWorks tomorrow."

"Goodbye." Chen Tian waved.

Charlize struggled to finish a set of shots, her face burning. "I messed up, definitely messed up. What's wrong with me, failing at the crucial moment." She was so frustrated that she wanted to slap herself.

"Charlize, come over here." Chen Tian called. "Let's look at the photos."

Charlize walked over dejectedly. "Director, my face was a bit stiff just now. Can... can I try again?"

Chen Tian gave her a strange look. "Why do it again? You did pretty well. I think this role suits you."

"Wh... What?!" Charlize was stunned, her eyes wide open, unsure. "Really? You mean I got the role and did well?"

Chen Tian smiled and nodded. "Yes, of course! Although you were a bit nervous, you fit the role well."

"Oh my God! My God!" Charlize exclaimed, her breathing becoming rapid, her face full of disbelief. Suddenly, she threw herself at Chen Tian, her face flushed with excitement. "Thank you, Christmas! I can work with you again! Thank you so much!"

"Whoa~~!"

Chen Tian caught her by surprise, but his quick reflexes kept him from falling. He smoothly wrapped his arms around Charlize's waist, feeling the softness, and his face turned a bit awkward. He joked, "There was an earthquake just now; the earth shook. Please stand steady."

Several people in the studio looked at them with teasing smiles. Charlize quickly let go, looking a bit reserved but with bold eyes. Chen Tian, on the other hand, was a bit awkward, as he had a girlfriend.

"I'm sorry, I was too excited. My face was too stiff, and I thought I had no hope." Charlize said, "Director, will you buy me a drink today?"

"Now?"

Chen Tian was a bit hesitant, but seeing her beautiful face looking at him intently, his heart tightened, and he swallowed his refusal. "Let me buy you a drink. Thank you for thinking so highly of me. Maybe you haven't tried Chinese food. How about I take you for a Chinese meal?"

"That's a great idea, I'm looking forward to this dinner." A hint of cunning flashed in her eyes.
