Now that I’ve drank the last potion, I had no means of recovery.

Gripping my sword, I vigorously ran in.

Fully on its feet, the Cyclops tried to attack by swinging at me, but I dodged to the side, and then leaped right in front of it.

Then, I saw the Cyclops getting ready to roar, so I shot two rounds from my revolver.

Its roar was interrupted by it blocking the bullets with its right arm, but using its arm as a pivot, it leaped further.

I jumped on top of the Cyclops’ head and stabbed it several times with my sword. Perhaps from having taken some damage, it let out a yell and flailed about, trying to shake me off.

Unable to hold on, I was shaken off and hit by a punch from the Cyclops.

I crashed into the wall, but with no time to rest, I readied myself for the next round of fighting.

I had one bullet left… What to do?

I’m getting worn out from all of these attacks…

What are you doing? Use Skill Copy.

Suddenly, the voice from that time came into my head.

Come to think of it, I was bestowed with power…

Skill Copy… wait, how am I even supposed to use it!?

In my confused mind, an image was displayed.

“Is this… how you use Skill Copy?”

With that, my gaze shifted to the big puddle of poison.

Right… if I could use Skill Copy…!

Holding my right hand out over the puddle of poison, I activated Skill Copy. As I held out my hand, multiple lights appeared from the puddle and entered me.

Multiple words were then etched in my head.

With these words etched, I felt a strange power in my body.

“So I’ve gained some skills and special skills… huh?”

Not really knowing what was going on, the Cyclops swung its fist down at me.

Let’s try this out… Toxification!

Upon using the special skill Toxification, my whole body turned into a poisonous fluid. I dodged the Cyclops’ attack and moved to his shoulder.

Then, getting on its shoulder, I turned back into human form.

“So this is Toxification… Anyway!”

Such a poisonous attack… With that, I used Spin Kick to hit the Cyclops’ right cheek.

And so, the Cyclops’ huge body fell to the ground with a thud.

After landing on the ground, I came to terms with this new power that I’d just obtained.

But even this wasn’t enough… In order to completely defeat it…

My gaze fixed towards a point. Yes, towards the big puddle of poison.

“Gotta go with this!”

Letting out its anger from being attacked with Spin Kick, the Cyclops let out a yell.

It ran thunderously towards me and swung its fists. Using Toxification, I dodged its attacks and moved to its foot, slashing it in the leg with my sword.

Of course, going just once wouldn’t deal that much damage, so I did it again and again…

However, the Cyclops tried to counterattack by stomping. I avoided it with Toxification and resumed my attacks.

“Take this!!”

After hitting it with Power Slash, the hulking Cyclops finally began to tilt towards the poison puddle.

But when I saw that the Cyclops was trying to step on me with its other foot, I leaped up to its huge eye and pulled my right arm back.

“Behave and go take a giant bath!”

Using the skill Poison Stab, I forcefully thrust my right arm into the Cyclops’ eye.

Its weak point was hit, and the Cyclops’ huge body fell into the big poison puddle, screaming. The puddle seemed to be bottomless with the Cyclops slowly sinking into it.

However, despite its weak point having been hit, its face burst out of the puddle as it tried to escape.

…It didn’t even notice that I was already in front of it…

“This ends here!”

I spun in the air, aimed at the face poking out of the puddle, and used Poison Slash and Poison Stab, cutting through its already red eye…

The Cyclops’ weak point was damaged even more. It then lost the strength to hold on and sank into the poisonous puddle.

Afterward, I fell into the poisonous puddle, but soon crawled back up as if nothing happened.

Thanks to the special skill Detoxify, this poisonous pool was like any other regular puddle to me.

I looked at the poisonous puddle that the Cyclops sank in for a while… and I confirmed that I had indeed received experience.

My level went up from 16 to 25. After checking this, I felt triumphant from felling the Cyclops.

“Yes… I won!!!”

Overjoyed at my victory over a level 96 enemy, I couldn’t help but shout…
