The Chapter of Spring

Chapter 1 part 1

NOTE: We have the same translator as the one in the other site, so the work isn’t copied.

It was early May, my first year of high school.

I ate Tempura Udon [TL: Tempura Udon is a delicious Udon noodle soup with Tempura. Udon is a Japanese noodle made from wheat. It is a thick and chewy noodle.] at the school cafeteria on a sunny day after the vacation.

“Oh, it’s Tsukishiro-san!

My friend Akabori, who was eating curry in front of me, told me to look over.

Near the bustling cafeteria entrance, there was the girl I hated the most in my class, or even in character space.

There she was.

Aoi Tsukishiro’s grades are at the top of her grade. She doesn’t seem to have much motivation in physical education, but she can do most of the events without a hitch.

She does most of them without much trouble. She has a strong face with clear-cut eyes and nose, which is too neat, giving an impression of an overall slender woman.

Though Her overall impression is slender, her skirt and thighs are so long that it gives her an aura of a stylish celebrity.

She is a beautiful girl with the aura of a stylish celebrity. She is a model for a fashion magazine for teenage girls.

It seems that she is a model for a fashion magazine for teenage girls, so she has been standing out from the crowd since she entered the school.

Because of her personality, Tsukishiro was often approached by both men and women, but her responses were usually cold.

I’ve seen her say “I’m not going” to the girls when they ask her to go to the bathroom, and for the boys, whenever someone says, “I saw you in the magazine,” it ends with a simple, “Yeah”.

When asked for her contact information by a famous and handsome senior in the school, she quickly refused, saying, “I don’t want to tell you”.

Tsukishiro seemed to look down on her classmates of the same age.

Perhaps the confidence comes from working in a glamorous, adult world, but she gives off the vibe that she thinks school is s****d.

She is called “cool” by the girls and “e****c” by the boys and is somehow accepted as such.

As soon as Tsukishiro entered the cafeteria, she was approached by a senior male student.

In response, she said something with a depressed look on her face and sat down lazily on a seat far away. I don’t know what she said, but he seemed to have been hit by a prize word and was being comforted by a pat on the shoulder.

I watched the sequence of events and then returned my attention to the udon in front of me, chopsticks at the ready.

“Hey, it’s Tsukishiro-san,” he said.

“Yes, it’s Tsukishiro. Why do you bother to tell me::::”

Even though you’re famous, you’re always in the same classroom.

“Why did I tell you?” “You don’t care?”

“Yeah, yeah?”

You’d be surprised.

I’m surprised to hear you say that because if he thinks so, then there’s a chance that Tsukishiro believes so too.

“I don’t mind at all, it’s just a little….”

“Just a little?”

She hates me.

For Tsukishiro, a woman who doesn’t talk to even the most handsome of men, I’ve always been out of her sight if she wasn’t aware of me.

I’m not sure what to do with it. So I didn’t have to worry about it either.

So, I didn’t have to worry about it either.

But lately, things have not been going well.

She probably doesn’t like me.

There was no doubt about it.

More and more often, my eyes would lock with Tsukishiro’s, even though I didn’t mean to, and every time I did, she would look away from me at super speed.

I’m sure she thinks I’m a d***y person. I’m sure she feels that if she keeps a d***y rag in her sight for a few seconds, her eyes will rot.

So if I’m doing something every day, I just look at it. That’s why I never look in her direction, even if she looks like something I would look at in a normal situation.

I try not to look in her direction.

Even so, since we are in the same class, I ran into her head-on at the Utsukari door last week, and she gave me a stunning look.

She looked at me with a stunning face. Tsukishiro usually doesn’t change her expression no matter how often we meet.

So I guess I have a terrible face.

“Did you imagine?”

“If you think so, look at this.”

I took out from my pocket a small folded notepad.

“What is this, trash?”

“Oh.”

Akahori unfolded the paper and looked at it.

“Of course it’s trash.”

“Then I’ll just say yeah.”

This is a notepad that writes the solution to the mystery of the cue in an escape game in his spare time, which is trash when it only has odd phrases in a row like「Powder 4」「Bikini two 」 「Disc 6」.

“The other day I carelessly dropped it in the hallway……And then what happened.”

Tsukishiro ran over and started to talk to me in a small voice「Su, Sukine」with an extremely annoyed look on her face.

Doesn’t this girl mumble like that mean she doesn’t want to pronounce my name?

Then she showed me the piece of trash I dropped, said「This, isn’t that important to you?」 and returned it with all her strength. It’s not right to drop litter in the hallway, but it’s okay to hate it in moderation.

Anger was unbearable and came, but I didn’t want to face it for a second. Tsukishiro instantly disappeared.

Akahori had finished his curry, and after drinking the water, he thought. Then it asked me a strange question.

“A cold girl Tsukishiro-san, I’ve never seen myself come to talk to someone since I entered school, but deliberately ran over and gave

you a piece of trash?”

“Ah……Did she mean to say ‘Don’t let trash pollute the school’……”

“Dream drill. This, doesn’t it look like a password or something?”

“If it’s a password, isn’t it roughly the latin numerals that come together? At this rate, it’s more like an elementary school student’s calculus notebook.”

“It looks like a shopping note!”

“Where is that high school student going to buy 4 tinders, 2 bikinis, and 6 plates…….”

“No, so it’s not a misunderstanding at first glance. I don’t mean anything else.”

Not only that. The other day, I was dreaming alone on the classroom balcony, but because she deliberately came to the side to give off a cold atmosphere, I was forced to move. I think this is compatible with the so-called mild bullying.

There are plenty of grounds to believe I’m being hated. But Akahori persisted.

“She just started school……She doesn’t even know about you, but she hates it so much.”

“Then there’s a reason.”

“So what’s the reason for that?”

“Tsukishiro is my childhood friend. We were pretty close until I moved in my fourth year of elementary school.”

“Really? But what’s surprising is that… is, you guys are completely……not friendly at all…….”

“Going to the fourth year of elementary school. After that, the upper grade and high school were completely separated. Having completely become two strangers to each other…….”

Furthermore, undergoing a transformation that seemed like nothing was left of the old Tsukishiro.

“But…why are you getting hate. Do you remember anything yourself?”

“I don’t know……Is there animosity…or is it because I knew her until the fourth year of elementary school and hated it, for example.”

“Um~n. Can’t think of it.”

“I ran into Tsukishiro in the shoe locker this morning……you know what she said to me?”

Akahori showed a worried expression. He was a bit dumbfounded when he heard me.

“Say what……?”

“Good morning.”

“Isn’t that just a hello, auntie……”

“……It means ‘so you dare wake up, so I won’t let you wake up again’.”

“Have you taken your medicine?”

“Why is Tsukishiro saying hello to me! Aren’t there more objects for her to greet with!”

“If it’s just hello, you can let her do it!”

“That was intimidation!”

“And you’re sick!”

Akahori glared at me.

After a while, it relaxed and let out a long sigh.

“Tsukishiro-san is probably just trying to rekindle an old friendship. You think too much.”

“Haha……Akahori, your soul is so beautiful. Girls are not the kind of animals that live like that.”

On my high school graduation day, the handsome guy who was famous and popular with girls was the first kid I carelessly became close to. The girls around and at the center of this Akahori formed a group nicknamed RED, who was always devoted to pampering him with all his might.

“You are surrounded by girls, treated gently, and even invited to go out. People like that only know their faces.”

“Eh, it’s not like it’s such a big deal……but you guys go out together every now and then for fun.”

“Huh? Don’t talk nonsense for me. If I invite you, they won’t like it.”

“It’s not like that……I think you’re pretty popular too~…….”

“What the heck is going on…….”

I drank a glass of water and let out a very long breath.

“Akahori, that thing called a girl can instantly distinguish between [pretty boy] and [trash]. If it’s trash, it doesn’t show any displeasure. Even if there were things that were more or less instantly indistinguishable, as expected, their hearts were the same.

From the moment they were born as girls, the position was above boys, thinking they had the right to look down on boys, being living animals that clearly expressed their discomfort if they were to continue. touch or relate to even a little.”

Whether a talented kid or a normal kid, a quiet kid or an energetic kid, an excellent student or a weak, inactive student or in the basketball club, the soccer club desk, choir club or drama club, classmate, senpai or female teacher, all girls are evil without exception. This is my unshakable personal view.

“You really are rude to girls……but rather without saying it out loud, you don’t trust women huh……The prejudice is so bad.”

“I only know the nature of creatures named girls.”

“Ha~…… You’re the type of guy who can become close to anyone……Recently after the entrance ceremony, you even talked to Kawabata, who was almost as dumb as a mussel.”

“There is no one in the world that bad. Even though there are some kids who make the situation more difficult, if you try to talk to them, everyone is kind, and many of them are interesting.”

“Where did that contradictory nature of yours come from…….”

Akahori narrowed her eyes once more, letting out a breath that looked like it was at a loss for words.

I fell into an extreme state of distrust of girls due to an incident in my sixth year of elementary school.

At the time, I was aware that boys and girls were the same human species. They were living a peaceful and pure life.

It’s something in class after school.

Most of the girls in the class were gathered in a circle, seemingly talking about the boy they liked. Talking in a light-hearted atmosphere, about handsome boys and things like 「How about Ueda? 」「 That’s okay~ 」「Are you going to say it before graduation?」.

“Emi-chan and Sukune, right?”

Suddenly because my name was said, I stopped the arm opening the door.
