"You have shed a lot of blood, I will bandage you first."

"Yeah."

Murong Yu sat on the wooden bench and looked around the Sleeping Hall environment.

This family could be described as a poor family with only four walls.

Except for a simple wooden bed, two wooden boxes, two small wooden stools and a rice jar, nothing else was in there.

'I don't know where the owners have gone to, but it's best that they don't come back suddenly.'

As Murong Ci bent over and untied his belt, her head got close to his head, and their breathing and smelling intertwined, with a trace of ambiguity flowing between them.

She was unsatisfied with her hand speed and suddenly realized that she was too close to him, so she tugged quickly, and the brocade robe went loose.

After that, she came behind him, loosened his upper shirt, and took off the left side of the robe to show the left arm.

A cool breeze came in from the wooden window, and the moonlight lit them like a faint white frost floating in the room.

His neck was like a Jade, his shoulders were heavy with smooth and straight lines, his collarbone had exquisite lines, and his skin was white and delicate.

The faint fragrance of submerged masculine scent curled around her nose.

His beautiful figure was so beautiful and attractive, that she found her mind immersed in it, secretly cursing herself for losing consciousness at such a moment.

"The wound turned black, which means the long sword was poisoned."

Murong Ci's heart jumped fiercely.

'After he was injured, he flew for so long, and the poison should have spread...

Fortunately, he didn't say a word all the way, neither shouted pain nor squealed.'

"Wrap it up."

Murong Yu said lightly.

"What about the poison gas attacking the heart?"

"Can't die temporarily."

"How can you still be saying this kind of thing at such a time."

She angrily said,

"It's better to go home..."

"No. Once we return to the Palace, those men in black clothes will track down that we came from the Palace!

Our identity will be revealed and we'll be stunned.

Then it will be difficult to track them down in the future, and all we have done will be for nothing."

He said in a deep voice and could not be rebutted.

"But I'm afraid this poison is very poisonous, and you will soon..."

Murong Ci didn't dare to think about it or say it.

'Was it worth death to trace Opium Poppy?'

"Bandage it."

Murong Yu seemed to be giving orders to one of his subordinates.

She reluctantly tore off the corner of her robe and bandaged the wound on his left arm.

After the incident, she dressed him in a robe and asked:

"What happened in the secret room before?

How could the Young Master in Golden Clothes let us out?"

His eyes were deep and quiet,

"I have a unique skill.

As long as I seal my heart, my breath will be minimal, as if I'm dead, in fact it's suspended breathing.

But only for a quarter of an hour."

Murong Ci finally understood.

'He put me and himself in a state of suspended breathing.

The Young Master in Golden Clothes thought we were poisoned to death by the poisonous gas, so he ordered his men to throw us outside.

So we left the secret room like this...

No wonder he was so calm...He had planned it!

So hateful! He could have said something at that time, and not making me so nervous and afraid.'

So she said bitterly:

"Then why didn't you say it earlier?"

"They are here."

Murong Yu suddenly pulled her over and pulled off the belt around her waist.

She exclaimed in a low voice and opened her eyes in shock,

"What are you doing?"

He took off her robe forcibly, rude and violent, mercilessly.

The outer robe, middle clothes, silk trousers, and the intimate clothes went off one after another and they were all soft like fallen leaves.

Afterwards, he hugged her onto the bed,

"Take off my robe."

Murong Ci didn't dare to struggle too hard, worried about the injury of his left arm.

At this moment, hearing his low and cold words, she immediately understood his intentions and pulled off his robe neatly.

Taking off one piece and throwing another, all kinds of clothes were entangled with hers, and it was impossible to tell whose it was in the shadows.

She suddenly thought of something, stretched out her hand to take off the fake skin mask on his face, tore off her own too, and hid it.

Without an inch between their bodies, the two faced each other naked.

They were covered with a thin quilt of coarse cloth to cover up the intimate parts.

She looked at him.

He hugged her down, and his snow-white face was close at hand.

His thin red lips were slightly darker due to poisoning.

His sword-like eyebrows were still raised, and his deep eyes were still shining.

At this time, she heard the noise of footsteps coming from outside the door, and it was those men in black clothes who were chasing them here.

"They must be here! Go in and take a look."

"Search from house to house and don't miss them."

The next instant, the sound of the door being pushed open was heard.

Murong Yu suddenly bowed his head, and his cold lips fell on her neck...

※※(N.B.) Ok, the time has come! I freaking love this whole scene of the next few chapters~~!

When I saw this scenes and the previous revelation scene in the manhua I was shocked by how different it was! Although the lines said were similar, in the manhua there was this weird "grudge" aura that was stuck to Murong Yu's figure. He had this "you fooled me this whole time" aura which made no sense to me, because in the novel, Murong Yu had known it for so long and on the opposite their interactions up until that revelation moment were really funny and a cat-mouse play this whole time.

Also, Murong Ci's reaction was completely different as well. While in the manhua she was "shocked and regretful for being discovered" in the novel, she had had many hints of him knowing already and she had already accepted that even if he knew, for now he didn't seem to have any intentions of revealing her identity to the Imperial Court. It was "their shared secret" and that created a kind of sweet complicity between the two which is so good and charming for me.

Also, the biggest change of all, is the personality of the Emperor.

I have no idea why in the manhua, the Emperor was turned arbitrarily into the BIG VILLAIN when in the novel he's a caring and weak(apparently) character.

He most of all LOVES Murong Ci. (Trust me in this.)

His character was so well depicted in the novel, and so badly made into a stereotypical villain in the manhua, that I still can't accept it and refuse to see him as the real Emperor in the manhua.

I was speechless when I saw the changes (since the imprisonment during the Blood Jade Arc, which never happened in the novel).

So, for those reading the manhua, please remember this: the emperor you're seeing in there is a pure villain and has nothing to do with the Emperor you see and will see in the novel.

Probably, after Murong Yu, he's the mostly well done character of this story, and I love his character in the novel so much ❤︎

Sorry, for my papyrus. Eheheh, anyway, as always thanks for reading, commenting, liking and supporting this novel.

I hope you'll like it as I do. Cheers~~!
